HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME ISSUES THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUTTHIS CAR

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, ABS LIGHT IS ON, BREAK LIGHT IS ON. HOWEVER ABS AND HAND BREAK WORK PERFECTLY FINE - AFTER SHORT INSPECTON I WAS TOLD THE PROBLEM IS IN SOME SENSOR  -THATS WHY THS LIGHTS ARE ON. THE CAR WAS BOUGHT ON THE AUCTION  TO BE RESOLD "AS IS" AND I AM NOT INVESTING MONEY TO FIX IT, I WAS DRIVING IT FOR 10 DAYS WHILE THE AUCTION TRANSIT WAS VALIDE AND IT DOES NOT AFFECT DRIVING IN ANY WAY. NEXT ISSUE IS THE ODOMETR. IT DOESN'T WORK. IT SHOWS 142000 AND SOME KILOMETRES BUT DOESNT RECORD ANYMORE AND DOESNT SHOW SPEED. WHEN IT STOPPED ? I DON'T KNOW, IT WAS BOUGHT FROM THE AUCTION LIKE THIS. LAST ISSUE IS CHANGING SPEED FROM THE 1ST TO THE 2ND SPEED IS NOT ALWAYS SMOOTH, SOMETIMES IT MAKES CRACKY SOUND WHEN YOU CHANGE IT FROM THE 1ST TO THE 2ND ONLY. WHEN I WAS DRIVING IT FOR 10 DAYS I GOT USED TO THE CAR AND FOUND A WAY TO SLOWLY CHANGE THE SPEED WITH NO CRACKY SOUND . OTHER SPEEDS , FROM 2ND TO 3RD, FROM 3RD TO 4TH , FROM 4TH TO THE 5TH  WORK PERFECT AND VERY SMOOTH.

NOW YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS CAR : GOOD AND BAD. AS I SAID CAR IS IN CONDITION WHERE YOU CAN JUST TAKE IT AND DRIVE IT , IT DOESNT NEED ANY IMMEDIATE REPAIRS, BUT IF YOU WANT TO FIX ODOMETRE AND LIGHTS I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH IT COULD AND WILL COST BECAUSE I DIDNT INVEST MONEY TO FIND WHAT WAS THE EXACT PROBLEM. I AM AS HONEST AS I COULD WITH YOU ABOUT THIS CAR AND DESCRIBED ALL THE ISSUES. THE ONLY THING LEFT IS BODY : AGAIN, I WILL BE HONEST , IT HAS A LITTLE BIT OF STARTING RUST ON BACK WINGS BUT INSIDE THE BODY NOT OUTSIDE - ITS NOT SEEN WITH NAKED EYE, IT HAS A LITTLE ABOUT 10 CENTS COIN ROND RUST SPOT ON THE ROOF (ALSO JUST STARTING) AND SOME RUST ON THE BACK WINDOW SEPARATOR. BODY HAS SOME MINOR SCRATCHES AS WELL  I WONT LIE TO YOU NEITHER - ITS A 2004  CAR AND ITS NORMAL FOR A CAR THIS OLD TO HAVE SCRATCHES ON THE BODY.

IT IS HONESTLY VERY COMFORTABLE AD VERY FUN TO DRIVE VEHICULE AND USUALLY THIS CAR OF THE SAME YEAR SELLS IN CANADA FOR AROUND 3800$ TO 4900$ , YOU CAN TRY TO GET IT FOR FAR MUCH LESS BECAUSE OF THE DESCRIBED ISSUES AND TRY TO FIX IT AND SAVE SOME MONEY OR MAYBE JUST DRIVE IT AS IS.

CAR IS LOCATED IN MONTREAL QUEBEC CANADA (H3M) AND THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PICK UP .

2016 Mazda2 gets EPA-rated 43 mpg highway

Fri, Apr 10 2015

To paraphrase the famous quote from astronaut Neil Armstrong, that's one small step for man and one giant leap for the Mazda2. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has weighed in on the new Mazda2 version, and says it gets a fuel-economy rating of 33 miles per gallon city and 43 mpg highway with a six-speed automatic transmission. Stick-shift gas-mileage figures are 31 city and 42 highway, which are still substantially better than the 29/35 rating from the most recent iteration of the model. That's about a 15-percent jump in fuel economy, people. More importantly, the Mazda2 beats out competitors such as the Hyundai Accent, Kia Rio Eco and even the Honda Fit in terms of fuel efficiency, which is pretty good company. The Mazda2 boasts a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. But it is the upgrade to six-speed transmissions in both manual and automatic versions that seem to be making the biggest difference in the ratings. Mazda started unveiling details about the next-generation Mazda2 last year, and last fall began production of the model at Mazda's new factory in Salamanca, Mexico. At that time, the Japanese automaker had already sold more than 2.4 million Mazda2 vehicles since the model's introduction in 1996. Related Video:

Mazda replaces owner's crashed 2016 Miata with brand new car

Fri, Jul 24 2015

The first shipment of 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miatas are finally here. Imagine the jubilant sensation of being among the 1,000 people to pick up the limited Launch Edition, only to feel eviscerated when the new roadster crashes hardly a mile away from the dealer. While it must be an absolutely horrendous experience, Mazda North American Operations is making things right for one forlorn couple. In what was surely among the first recorded crashes of the 2016 Miata in the US, a husband and wife recently went to pick up their new Launch Edition, but they were rear-ended almost as soon as they left the dealer. According to Jalopnik, the hit also caused the roadster to slam into the car in front and might have bent the frame. To make a bad situation even worse, the wife also needed to be taken to the hospital to be checked out. Mazda is coming to the couple's aid with a generous gift. Knowing that it's utterly unfair for the new owners not to enjoy some top-down driving while the summer lasts, the company is actually sending the pair another Launch Edition to replace their crashed example. According to a Facebook post by the dealer (below), the car should be available sometime next month. Hopefully, the couple can enjoy thousands of miles of roadster driving with this one. After hearing about one of our customers getting rear-ended just minutes after picking up their new Miata, Mazda is sending out a replacement next month! #LongLiveTheRoadster Posted by Tom Bush Mazda on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 Related Video:

Mixed sales results, but automaker stocks rise on need for cars in Houston

Fri, Sep 1 2017

DETROIT — The Big Three Detroit automakers on Friday reported better-than-expected August sales and issued optimistic outlooks for demand as residents of the Houston area replace flood-damaged cars and trucks after Hurricane Harvey, sending their stocks higher. General Motors, Ford and Fiat Chrysler posted mixed August U.S. sales, with GM up 7.5 percent and Ford and Fiat Chrysler down. Japanese automaker Toyota improved sales by nearly 7 percent, while Honda fell 2.4 percent. Still, analysts focused on the potential for Detroit automakers to cut inventories and stabilize used vehicle prices as residents of Houston, the fourth largest city in the United States, are forced to replace tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands, of vehicles after the devastation from Hurricane Harvey. Mark LaNeve, Ford's U.S. sales chief, told analysts on Friday that following Hurricane Katrina in 2005 "we saw a very dramatic snapback" in demand. That said, Ford sales fell 2.1 percent in August. It sold 209,897 vehicles in the United States, compared with 214,482 a year earlier. Sales were down 1.9 percent in the Ford division and off 5.8 percent at Lincoln. Demand was down for cars, crossovers and SUVs. It was not clear how many vehicles in the Houston area will be scrapped, LaNeve said, saying he had seen estimates ranging from 200,000 to 400,000 to 1 million. Ford's Houston dealers may have lost fewer than 5,000 vehicles in inventory, he said. Ford is the No. 1 automaker in the Houston market, with 18 percent share, according to IHS Markit. The company plans to ship used vehicles to Houston dealers and has "every indication we would have to add some production" of new vehicles to meet demand, LaNeve said. Investor concerns about inventories of unsold vehicles and falling used car prices have weighed on Detroit automakers' shares most of this year. Now, automakers can anticipate a jolt of demand from a big market that is a stronghold for Detroit brand trucks and SUVs. "It's got to be a positive for the industry," LaNeve said. Investors appeared to agree. GM shares rose as much as 3.3 percent to their highest since early March. Ford increased 2.8 percent at $11.34, and Fiat Chrysler's U.S.-traded shares were up 5.2 percent $15.91, hitting their highest in more than five years. GM reported a 7.5 percent increase in U.S. auto sales in August, helped by robust sales of crossovers across its four brands.
