I apologize for the car being dirty in the pictures, I just got back from a road trip and haven't had a chance to wash it due to all the rain we have been having lately. Now about the car:

Rebuilt title. It can be hard to finance a rebuilt title car, so please do not bid unless you are paying cash or already have your financing lined up.

I bought the car after it was repaired with 19,600 miles on it. Current mileage is just under 38,000. The car hasn't given me any problems in the almost 20k miles I have driven it including long roadtrips to Arkansas, Arizona, Mississippi and Colorado.

Car runs drives and shifts good. I have always run Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and it doesn't have any leaks and hasn't given me any problems.
Tires have approx 70% treadlife left and are wearing evenly since I bought them new at about 24k miles.
Front and rear brake pads both have 80% or greater pad life left.

Mostly stock with the only mods being:

Corksport Intake/Turbo Inlet Pipe
Corksport Rear Motor Mount Insert

Issues:
-CD player doesn't work (says "check disk" when you select CD mode), Radio and AUX input work perfectly (Aux is what I use 90% of the time to play music from my ipod) so I never replaced it since I don't use the CD player function.
-Washer fluid resivour has a small leak when it is filled more than half full (system still works and sprays liquid properly, you just can't fill it all the way).
-Small cigarette burn in passanger front seat (car does not smell of smoke at all, this burn was there when I bought the car and the car has never been smoked in since I've owned it.
-As mentioned, car is a rebuilt title due to a previous front end collision.
-When I got an alignent a couple years ago, the tech did not set the steering wheel to perfect dead center (you'll only notice this on the highway when going straight the wheel is ever so slightly to the left). I didn't notice the tech didn't reset it until I had already moved from Arizona to Texas and It didn't bother me enough to get another alignment done. Car drives fine and tracks good, just needs the steering wheel adjusted.
-a few minor paint chips/dings typical of any used car, but nothing major or very noticeable (wanted to point this out as this isn't a "perfect" condition vehicle, but what used car really is?)

Bonus items:

Brand New set of iridium sparkplugs
Extra Oil Filter
Extra set of Rear Hawk Performance Brake Pads
Special Oil filter wrench socket

This has been a good reliable car inspite of the rebuilt title. I have tried to be as comprehensive as I can in describing the car and any defects it has. Car is in overall good condition, but is a used vehicle. Only selling because I upgraded to a Corvette and don't need the extra vehicle. Any questions please ask. Thank you.

Mazda Hazumi Concept shows up ahead of Geneva

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

Last week, Mazda officially teased its Geneva-bound Hazumi concept, showing little more than an aggressive headlamp design. But now, thanks to the magic of the Internet, another rendering of the Hazumi has appeared on the web, and, well, it's totes adorbs.
In Mazda's original release from last week, we were told that the name "Hazumi" means "spring up" or "bound" in Japanese, and is "particularly well-suited to a small car that appears to be bursting with energy." And now that we're getting a nearly full glimpse of the thing, we absolutely have to agree. The company's Kodo design language offers aggressive style in a cute little shape, and the usual raft of concept car-spec treatments (no mirrors, huge wheels, etc.) make it look even more comical and delightful.
Indeed, the Hazumi is understood to preview the next Mazda2 subcompact, and if this concept car points the way forward for Mazda's tiniest hatch, consider us totally geeked. Mazda is also set to debut its new 1.5-liter Skyactiv-D diesel engine at the Geneva Motor Show next week, and while the company hasn't confirmed if that powerplant will make its way into the next Mazda2, it sure makes sense, at least overseas. Stay tuned.

Mazda braces for record annual operating loss as car sales slump

Fri, Jul 31 2020

TOKYO — Mazda Motor Corp forecast a record annual operating loss on Friday as the Japanese automaker continues to be pummeled by falling vehicle sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Japan's No. 5 automaker anticipates a 40 billion yen ($383.5 million) loss for the year to March, joining a growing number of automakers, including Ford and Nissan, which expect annual losses after the virus shuttered vehicle plants and kept customers away from car dealerships. Even before the coronavirus outbreak, the maker of the CX-5 SUV crossover and the Mazda3 sedan had been suffering from sliding profits for the past two years as slim new vehicle offerings has knocked sales in the United States and China, its two biggest markets. In the year to March, Mazda anticipates an 8% fall in global vehicle sales to 1.3 million units, its lowest in seven years, which will likely result in an operating loss. The automaker said it would forgo paying a dividend this year. Ahead of Friday's announcement, the company's shares fell 7%, as the consensus forecast in a Refinitiv poll of 19 analysts was for a 46 billion yen annual loss. Mazda posted an operating loss of 45.3 billion yen for the first quarter, its weakest in 11 years, due to a 31% drop in vehicle sales between April and June. In the April-June quarter, sales fell to 244,000 units, largely due to a drop in demand at home and in Europe. Sales in North America, Mazda's biggest market, fell 19% in the same period. But China was a bright spot, as sales rose 13% during the quarter as car demand has returned to the world's largest auto market, having recovered relatively quickly from the virus.

2019 Mazda CX-5 Turbo First Drive Review | Two-row crossover perfection

Fri, Feb 15 2019

Listen: If you're shopping for a crossover, and by all accounts most Americans are, there is no better option on the market than the 2019 Mazda CX-5. When we test drove the all-new 2017 CX-5, we were astounded by its marked improvements over the already-great previous generation. We noted then its biggest drawback was its average 187 horsepower. The CX-5 didn't feel slow, and it certainly made up for it in other ways, like by delivering superior road-hugging abilities. But, it was probably enough to turn off buyers who do their shopping by analyzing spec sheets. For 2019, Mazda addressed that exact issue with a vengeance. With an all-new 2.5-liter SkyActiv Turbo good for 250 horsepower, the CX-5 not only leapfrogs bestselling rivals like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, but lands squarely in the realm of luxury stalwarts such as the Audi Q5 and BMW X3. When we drove the 2017 CX-5, we likened the handling to that of a Porsche Macan. Now it has the power to match. Among its direct competition, only the 2019 Toyota RAV4 breaks the 200-horsepower mark, ringing in at 203 (and the Hybrid makes an even more impressive 219 ponies), while the Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester and VW Tiguan all sit between 180 and 190. Now, to get the full herd you must fill the tank with 93 octane premium, but if you don't mind leaving a few ponies in the stable you can pump 87 octane for a slight dip to 227 horsepower. The engine adjusts with no ill effects. Even better, torque stays the same no matter what, and the stump-pulling 310 pound-feet of torque comes quick at just 2,000 rpm. The SkyActiv turbo is full of clever engineering tricks, too. There's an exhaust port restrictor, for instance, a narrower channel used only at low engine speeds. Mazda engineer Dave Coleman likened it to a thumb over a firehose, making more exhaust pressure at idle to spool up the turbo, and thus delivering more oomph when you take off from a standstill. Mazdafarians will recognize the mill as the same one that debuted on the 2018 Mazda6. It powers the CX-9 too, Mazda's highly acclaimed three-row crossover. The 3,825-pound CX-5 has 558 fewer pounds to shuffle around than its larger stablemate, making it downright snappy. However, that extra pep does come with a fuel economy penalty, 22 city and 27 highway mpg versus the naturally aspirated version's 24 city and 30 highway mpg.
