1995 MAZDA MIATA 1.8L 5 SPEED CONVERTIBLE
I AM SELLING MY SONS MIATA, WE AUTO CROSSED IT FOR 1/2 SEASON AND WERE GOING TO BUILD A SPEC MIATA RACE CAR OUT OF IT. I ENDED UP BUYING AN ALREADY BUILT CAR. CLEAR KY TITLE IN HAND THIS IS A VERY RUST FREE CAR THAT IS STILL A GREAT STREET CAR, OR WOULD BE A GREAT PLATFORM FOR BUILDING A SPEC MIATA. IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST DRIVE TRAIN: MOTOR IS COMPLETELY STOCK, 1.8L POWER STEERING, AIR CONDITIONING CAR HAS 175,000 MILES BUT RUNS GREAT, WE HAVE CHANGED THE OIL WITH MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC, WITH NO LIFTER NOISE. 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION WORK GREAT, RE-BUILT SHIFTER. I AM SURE THE CLUTCH HAS BEEN REPLACED. THE CAR HAS NEW SLAVE CYLINDER. CAR HAS NEW BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS. WE REPLACED THE SUSPENSION WITH KONI ADJUSTABLE YELLOW SHOCKS. WE REPLACED THE SPRINGS WITH EIBACH PRO PLUS SPRINGS, AND PRO PLUS ANTI ROLL BARS. THIS IS GREAT FOR STREET USE. THE AIR CONDITIONING ON THE CAR WORKS. WE CANNOT FIND THE DRIVERS AIRBAG, WE PUT THE STOCK STEERING WHEEL ON, BUT CANNOT FIND THE AIRBAG. THESE ARE ALL OVER EBAY FOR SALE. THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IS STILL IN THE CAR. BODY: AS I SAID THE BODY IS RUST FREE, THERE IS SOME DAMAGE TO THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR, THAT SOMEONE TRIED TO PUT FILLER ON. THE DOOR IS REPAIRABLE, WE JUST LEFT IT ALONE. THE CAR HAS MINOR SCRATCHES, AND FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS ARE FADED. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP FRAME IS INCLUDED, ALTHOUGH IT HAS NO FABRIC ON IT. ALL GLASS ON THE CAR IS FINE, WITH NO CRACKS. THE CAR HAS A MIATA R SPLITTER ON THE FRONT. WE WILL INCLUDE A REAR SPOILER, WHEELS AND TIRES: STOCK MIATA RIMS NEEDS TIRES, THEY ARE FINE FOR NOW INTERIOR: DASH PAD IS PERFECT, NO CRACKS WE ARE MISSING THE GAUGE HOOD ORIGINAL SEATS, ALTHOUGH WE DON'T HAVE THE RAILS FOR THE PASSENGER SEAT. DOOR PANELS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. NO CARPET RADIO AND SPEAKERS ARE INCLUDED AND COULD BE PLUGGED BACK IN. THE CENTER CONSOLE IS NICE. TRUNK IS RUST FREE, SPARE AND JACK ARE INCLUDED. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION ON A GREAT LITTLE CAR. FINDING ONE OF THESE RUST FREE IS A PLUS. ALSO, THIS IS A 1995 1.8L, WHICH ARE VERY DESIRABLE. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING. PLEASE EMAIL OR CALL MY CELL 859-621-0445 WITH ANY QUESTIONS. WE ARE JUST MAKING ROOM FOR THE RACE CAR. $500 DEPOSIT REQUIRED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF WINNING AUCTION, AND BALANCE DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS. |

Mazda CX-5 getting mild refresh
Thu, 14 Aug 2014Mazda has found both critical and commercial success with its CX-5 small crossover, and seems to be endeavoring to keep the momentum up with an upcoming refresh. As you can extrapolate from the obvious lack of the usual camouflage, the company isn't reinventing anything in the very near future of the CX-5, but it does seem as thought some tweaks are in the works.
Lighting elements fore and aft appear to have gone under the knife, with the front grille and rear fascia also seemingly to be slightly revised. The side mirrors now look slicker and slightly more upscale with their integrated turn signals, as well.
In all, expect a look that's a touch fresher, without being a radical departure from the existing visage.

Mazda to celebrate 25 years of MX-5 with 15 Miatas in New York
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Having first debuted at the Chicago Auto Show in 1989, the Mazda MX-5 Miata has been on the market now for an impressive 25 years. So to celebrate that quarter-century anniversary, Mazda is bringing no less than 15 examples of the legendary roadster from throughout its history to the New York Auto Show this year.
Mazda isn't saying just which versions of the MX-5 it's bringing to the Javitz center this year, but with three generations to choose from and over 900,000 units built and sold, there are plenty of examples - including production versions, special editions and concept cars.
What would really put the cherry on this birthday cake, however, would be if Mazda were to surprise us in Manhattan with the debut of the highly anticipated fourth-generation Miata that we're expecting to debut sometime this year.
