Mitsubishi 3000gt Spyder Sl on 2040-cars
North Manchester, Indiana, United States
First off I consider this a project car, a driver when the alternator is installed. If you live local, then you are welcome to take it on a test drive. Let's look at what it is, a high mileage car that needs work. So be realistic with expectations people the price has been adjusted according to this. Mint Spyders even Sl's can go past 20 grand. So now that we have that over with here is more info on the car.
Pros Decent interior Seems to run out Engine/Transmission nice Paint decent Top works Cd player Tires fair Breaks fair Cons Needs alternator has rust issues one small hole in lower front driver floor pan and 2 small holes in each of the rear wheel wells in front of back tires behind rocker panel also top brackets do have some rust Missing visors Rims starting to flake Ac doesn't work Antenna doesn't go up or down down One wheel cap missing Seats do have some holes worn in front Now I got this car 2 months ago and paid over 5 grand for it. Wish I could keep it but financially I cannot. Would be ideal for a PROJECT car or a kids first car with a LITTLE work. I did manage to find the correct rear seats for it which weren't cheap. They are slightly off color though just the top part. Very hard to find and I paid a bunch. Under a thousand of these cars left on the road. You may never see one this cheap again. 2603061375 |

Maserati Grecale crossover gets a reveal date
Wed, Sep 22 2021The Maserati Levante's little sibling, the Grecale, finally has an official reveal date. The compact luxury crossover will be unveiled on November 16 in Milan. That timing also comes just a few days before the L.A. Auto Show. The Grecale is sized to compete against the Porsche Macan, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, among others. Spy photos have revealed that its styling takes after the MC20 mid-engine sports car, particularly the oval grille shape and the narrow headlights that stretch back over the front fenders. Speaking of fenders, the rears are wide and curvy. The rear taillights are slender and wide. Maserati Grecale 13 View 13 Photos The big question mark for the Grecale is for the crossover's mechanicals. Strong possibilities include the turbocharged four-cylinder from the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, and the V6s from the Maserati Ghibli. It will also get a high-performance Trofeo variant, which would seem to suggest it would get a V8 like the rest of the Maserati Trofeo models. We should have the answers to this question and more this November. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
Leak confirms Maserati product plans, five new models
Fri, 28 Dec 2012It isn't a secret that Maserati is planning a product expansion in an attempt sell 50,000 units annually by 2015, but the automaker hasn't officially announced just how it plans to do so. Yes, we've seen (and driven) the 2014 Quattroporte, checked out spy shots for the smaller Ghibli sedan and Maserati even confirmed the Levante name for its SUV, but a leaked document reported by CarScoop could shed some light on how the Italian automaker intends on carrying out its rapid growth.
According to the image, the new Ghibli and Levante models will considerably lower the entry price point for the Maserati brand with the sedan having a price range from around $72,000 up to just over the $100,000 mark, with the SUV starting at close to $80,000 and topping out at almost $200,000. It also looks like the GranTurismo and GranCabrio will be getting redesigned in the near future at which point the new Gran Sport model will be added to the mix - otherwise known as the which often-rumored sports car with which Maserati will do battle with the Porsche 911.
Maserati to cap output at 75,000 cars
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Maserati appears set to take a page out of corporate sibling Ferrari's playbook with the possibility that it may cap global annual output in the coming years. Ferrari announced in 2013 that it would limit itself to 7,000 vehicles a year to maintain exclusivity, and so far, it has stuck to the plan.
According to an unnamed Maserati executive speaking to Reuters, the Italian luxury car maker wants to cap its sales to 75,000 vehicles a year. However, it's hardly there yet. The company doesn't forecast reaching that production benchmark until 2018.
Dave Sullivan, an auto industry analyst for AutoPacific, thinks that limiting sales could be a smart move for Maserati. "If it is profitable at 75,000 and doesn't require a significant investment in capacity to get there, this appears to be sound," he said to Autoblog via email. "Alfa Romeo is intended to be the volume brand and by capping Maserati, it means that even if you opted to buy the 'entry level' Ghibli, you still have a level of exclusivity."
