2002 Toyota Mr2 Spyder Base Convertible 2-door 1.8l (2-owner 91k Miles) on 2040-cars
Danville, Indiana, United States
This is my extra fun car and it is truly fun to drive. I drive it only in fair weather (never in the winter) and only for pleasure. It is not and never has been my daily driver. I have always had it in the garage or storage. It has NEVER been driven in snow. I won’t even take it out if rain is forecast. The top is in perfect condition and easy to put up and down. I prefer to drive with the top down unless it is really hot and then I put the top up and run the ice cold AC. If it is a little chilly out the heater will make for a comfortable ride “top down”. This car is quick, handles crisply and has a secure road “feel”. The ride is sports-car stiff which is the price we pay for the tight handling. It has a 5-speed manual transmission which is smooth and easy to shift. I routinely get 30 mpg. I am the second owner but first owner was a woman (non-smoker) as well. Car is owned free and clear. Please feel free to contact Jennifer (317-679-2093 evenings) or Jack (317-679-1595 anytime) for more information or to answer any questions you may have. This is a very clean sports car with low mileage for its age. Lady driven (gently).

Maserati Alfieri Concept lands on US shores ahead of 2016 production model
Sun, 17 Aug 2014America, meet the next sports car from Maserati. This is the Alfieri Concept, and it made the trip from Europe to make its US debut during the 2014 Monterey Car Week.
The two-door originally made its debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and has since made an ear-pleasing visit to the UK before it arrived at today's Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
For those that need a refresher, the Alfieri is a 2+2 that will, when it arrives in 2016, be available with a 410-, 450- or 520-horsepower V6, with the latter two power levels coming with an all-wheel-drive system. The Alfieri Coupe will be joined by a convertible in 2017.
2020 Maserati Quattroporte S Q4 Driveway Test | Are you louder than a Dodge Challenger?
Fri, Aug 28 2020The 2020 Maserati Quattroporte is an Italian luxury sedan that comes in several flavors. Recently, we've had a couple pass through the Autoblog short-term loaner fleet, and I decided to take the opportunity to record an exhaust clip and see whether it's louder than my 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392. You thought we were done with this, didn't you? Hah. The Maserati is a bit of an odd duck. Like the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, which kicked off this series, it's an Italian sedan powered by a turbocharged V6 producing a respectable 430 horsepower. Unlike the four-cheese, the Quattroporte in our garage was not its high-performance variant. In fact, if it were, it would have a V8, as all things should. I'm kidding. Or am I? Sadly, the V6 probably holds the S Q4 back in this particular "test," which resulted in a reading of 78.2 decibels. That's far short of my Challenger, which checked in at 85.7 dB and remains our reining champion ... for now. The Quattroporte is in reasonably decent company, though, thanks to the Porsche Cayenne S Coupe, which produced a similar result. Yeah, that's an SUV, but this is a luxury car, right? So the missions are similar. Heck, they even make about the same power. These tests are only vaguely scientific, and I conduct them using a free Android OS sound-measuring app and the mostly enclosed space of my personal garage. For those who are unfamiliar with my methodology (and again, I use that term somewhat loosely), you can refer back to my previous tests with the Alfa or the Cayenne S Coupe for more details. Or, just click the pretty links to hear engines go burble-burble; it's entirely up to you. Disclaimer: Autoblog accepts vehicle loans from auto manufacturers with a tank of gas and sometimes insurance for the purpose of evaluation and editorial content. Maserati bringing a car that "opens up new frontiers" to Paris
Fri, 07 Sep 2012We're not expecting to see a production version of the coming mid-engined Maserati coupe, expected to be named GranSport, for another few years; however, we might see it in concept form in just a few weeks at the Paris Motor Show. Australian site Car Advice got hold of an e-mail Maserati sent to friends of the Trident, and the first of the six cars mentioned is a "world premiere of a car that opens up new frontiers in terms of exclusiveness, performance and style."
Car Advice says it has been told that this will be a concept form of the GranSport, the GranTurismo replacement set to take on the Porsche 911 with ample use of carbon fiber and a 1,200-kilogram (2,600-pound) curb weight or thereabouts. The GranTurismo's 4.7-liter V8 hasn't been ruled out of the engine bay yet according to reports, but rumors persist that it will use the Ferrari-sourced twin-turbo V6 with 442 horsepower running power to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and have a 0-60 time of something like four seconds.
We can't see the full content of the e-mail, but among the other five cars that have been announced for the stand are the GranTurismo Sport and GranTurismo MC Stradale. With the 2014 Quattroporte not appearing until the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, the Kubang concept said to be retired before the debut of the production version at the 2014 Detroit show and the Levante still just a wee mule, guesses for the three remaining three would be variations on current models. Not that there's anything wrong with that when it's Maserati we're talking about...
