Hi i hate to sell her for a loss but up for sale is my 2009 Maserati Quattroporte executive gt.  Best color combo.  Black exterior with a black leather interior with red baseball stitching.   I am a private seller and i bought this car for my wife to take the kids to school but its too fast and light for her.  Its loaded but also has the executive gt package with rear tables and reclining rear seats and sun shades.  The car only has 7997 miles on it and may be slightly over 8000 by the time you take possession.  Its got paddle shifting, navigation, heated and cooled seats, and satellite radio.  Bi zenon and led headlights and taillights as well.  It is equipped wi oem chrome rims that i had chromed and have less than 500 miles on them.  I will say that there is a small amount of curb rash from 10 minutes after we got the rims......its not noticeable from 10 feet but it is there.  When i chromed the rims i i noticed the rear tires were worn but i didnt replace them because i wanted to use them until they are gone.  It will need 2 rear tires.  The car needs nothing else.  Im trying to remember anything else that i should mention.  The stereo has a hard drive to store music.  Its got bluetooth phone connection.  oh two months ago i added front and side and rear paint protection.  The 3 m kind.  Looks great.  Let me know if you have any other questions.  The car has no dents or scratches that im aware of.  I own a car wash and detail center so the car will come freshly waxed and cleaned.  You will not be disappointed with this car!

Ps i will ship the car for free to any lower 48 state if the buy it now is used.  I also am selling a 2007 range rover full sized supercharged with 55 k miles silver with black leather and custom exhaust and 2013 upgrades in awesome condition and a 2004 land rover with 65k miles also in great condition.  I have alot of cars......

Ferrari to stop supplying Maserati with its engines

Thu, May 9 2019

The Ferrari Q1 earnings call was full of information, and perhaps the biggest revelation was that Ferrari is going to stop supplying engines to Maserati. CEO Louis Camilleri broke the news, and The Motley Fool posted a transcript of the whole call online. "Eventually, we will no longer supply engines to Maserati, which actually from our perspective is actually a good thing, both from a margin perspective, but also the fact that we can transfer a lot of the labor that's been focused on the engines to the car side of the business," Camilleri says. Maserati has used Ferrari engines (arguably, one of the most compelling reasons to buy a Maserati) in its vehicles since 2002, a little while after Fiat passed Maserati off to the prancing horse. The partnership continued as both Ferrari and Maserati were under the same house at FCA. Then when Ferrari was spun off from FCA in 2015, they kept the supply steady to Maserati. Those engines include a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8, 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 and a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V8. Camilleri said Ferrari will officially stop in 2021 or 2022, with no intention of supplying anybody with engines beyond that. Of course, this leaves Maserati high and dry with no engines for its growing lineup. Maserati will have to reach into the FCA parts bin, find a new outside supplier or develop its own engines. Battery electric sounds out of the question. As of now, there doesn't appear to be a clear plan going forward. We've reached out to Maserati to see if they have any comment on the situation as it stands.

Marchionne threatens to move Alfa production out of Italy

Fri, 12 Jul 2013

Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne was unsurprisingly frank when asked by reporters about potential investments in Italian manufacturing for Alfa Romeo and Maserati, giving the Italian government the ultimatum, "Italy should decide if they want [Alfa Romeo's relaunch] to happen here or not as Fiat and Chrysler have several alternatives." Them's fightin' words.
Fiat's issue with the government stems directly from its courtroom clashes with the Fiom labor union. The two are currently embroiled in proceedings over longer shifts and shorter breaks, as Fiom has so far refused to sign a new contract citing revised labor laws that it says are anti-union.
According to Bloomberg, Fiat will be spending over $2.5 billion on development of eight new Alfas and six new Maseratis, in a bid to wrest some of the luxury pie away from BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. But that's only going to happen if the government is willing to play ball and make life easier on Fiat.

The Aston Martin Rapide leads this month's list of discounts

Thu, Aug 13 2020

Aston Martin was an early entrant into the coupe-shaped sedan battlefield with its rakish Rapide. It was first shown in concept form in 2006 at the Detroit Auto Show before finally going into production in 2010. Ten years have passed since then, and this could well be your last chance to drive a new Rapide off your neighborhood Aston Martin dealership's lot as the four-door is replaced by the DBX crossover. If you've got your eye on a new Rapide — and congratulations if so — you'll be pleased to know that you can snag a 2019 model for the low price of just $217,484. Sure, that's still a lot of money, but it's $24,341 off the car's average $241,825 sticker price. That's the largest monetary savings of August, 2020, and it represents a discount of a little over 10%. And even if the Rapide is getting a little long in the tooth, it's still a strikingly beautiful machine, particularly in its most recent AMR guise. Looking for something different but still extremely rapid? The 2019 Acura NSX is selling for an average transaction price of $142,141. That's an 11% savings off its sticker of $159,703. Or you could opt for a Maserati Quattroporte if you'd like the convenience of a luxury sedan but not the price of the Aston Martin – the four-door Trident-badged machine's average transaction price this month of $107,372 is a 12.4% discount. And if none of that is up your alley, you could go full baller with a Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV for $320,085. That's a savings of $12,665 off the car's average retail price of $332,750. Just think of how much Grey Poupon you could afford with all that leftover cash.
