Toyota Mr2 Spyder 116k Miles Rebuilt Title Minor Carfax Tagged Inspected Austin on 2040-cars
Austin, Texas, United States
2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder. Car was involved in a minor rear-end collision and repaired properly. Currently, title is Texas blue clean and clear. This is a reliable, clean little Toyota. It has the 1.8L motor in it, same as a Corolla and it gets amazing MPG. I'm getting about 34 right now, combined. Needs nothing. Just had a Toyota technician perform the tuneup. Runs great. Low miles, at only 117K. Check around to see what they are selling for- a LOT more than I'm asking. The paint is in good shape. Not perfect, but certainly presentable and nice and clean. There are some rock chips on the hood. There are no dents or major damage to the car. It has a cold air intake and an aftermarket muffler. At idle, it's super quiet but on the gas hard it has a nice grunt to it. Sounds solid. Motor, and mechanics are great. No check engine lights, no ABS lights, no airbag lights. In the accident, the airbags did not deploy. I have the carfax and happy to send it to interested buyers. It's an inexpensive MR2 Spyder that needs a fun home to go to. It's never going to be in a museum, but it's a great little driver that won't leave you stranded while you're having fun. I am located in Austin, Texas. Happy to deliver the car as I have a small truck and trailer- not a big deal to drive it wherever you are. |

Maserati Quattroporte suits up with Ermenegildo Zegna [w/video]
Wed, 11 Sep 2013You know what no one has ever said? The Maserati Quattroporte needs more Italian style. Just the same, Maserati has teamed up with Ermenegildo Zegna to give the QP just that.
Revealed here at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the (deep breath now) Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition Concept. And by "concept", Maserati means it intends to put it into production, likely with very few tweaks over what you see here.
So what do you see here? A QP in a business suit, to sum it up. It's got a beautifully deep bronze paintjob and an interior with the finest wool textile and soft leather upholstery. The lustrous paint repeats on the wheel spokes, and of course some discreet Zegna badges inside and out. The fashion house also worked up some special fitted luggage, as you can see from our gallery of high-resolution photos from the show floor, along with the stock shots, a video and a press release below.
2017 Maserati Levante is somewhere under all that cladding
Thu, Sep 24 2015There's an influx of crossovers coming from high-end European marques in the coming years – and we've already seen most of them in one form or another. One of the few exceptions is the forthcoming Maserati Levante, and if you can believe it, this is the best look we've had at it yet. Like the Bentayga for Bentley, the F-Pace for Jaguar, the DBX for Aston Martin, or the Urus for Lamborghini, the Levante will be Maserati's first crossover. It was previewed by the Kubang concepts of 2003 and 2011, but the closest we've gotten to the finished product so far has been some test mules running under modified Ghibli sedan bodywork and a series of purported patent drawings. Mind you, these spy shots don't show us a whole heck of a lot either, as heavily camouflaged and cladded as this prototype is. But under all that padding is what appears to be the bodywork that we'll be seeing on the production version once it makes its debut sometime next year. Look for the Ghibli's twin-turbo V6 engines to propel Maserati head-first into new territory, and likely pave the way for an Alfa Romeo crossover to follow. All we can see for the time being, really, are the exposed wheels. But if those giant brake discs filling their spokes are anything to go by, the Levante ought to represent the Modenese automaker well in what's becoming an ever-pricier, more performance-focused, and more competitive market segment. Porsche and its trendsetting Cayenne ought to take notice. Related Video:
2017 Maserati Levante wraps Italian style around an SUV
Fri, Feb 19 2016Maserati has a glittering history that dates to 1914. It's based on gorgeous sports cars, decadent sedans, and a rich motorsports heritage. Now comes a new chapter: the first Maserati sport-utility vehicle. Called the Levante, it will debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show and launch in Europe in the spring. The rollout will continue around the world throughout 2016. Maserati says the Levante will have gasoline and diesel engines, though it didn't specify what's under the hood for US-bound models. It will be assembled in Turin, and the company says the first units are already in production. Details are slim as far as the rest of the specs, but Maserati says the Levante will have an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive capability. We also hear that serious off-road performance is one of the Levante's capabilities. The Levante carries many of the brand's styling cues, and the grille, curvy fenders, headlight shape, and vents will fit in with the rest of the brand's products, like the Ghibli and Quattroporte. Maserati joins Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Porsche, and other traditional sporting brands that have added SUVs to their portfolios in an effort to remain relevant and capitalize on new revenue streams.
