This vehicle is in MINT Condition.  I am the original owner and the vehicle was purchased BRAND NEW.  The vehicle is and has always been GARAGE KEPT (Inside a heated garage).  This vehicle has never seen or been driven in RAIN or SNOW.  Vehicle has always been meticulously maintained and the oil has been changed regularly regardless of the mileage.

The factory radio was upgraded to a Pioneer CD/Navigation Unit with integrated BLUETOOTH hands free, but I still have the original factory radio which is included with the car. The interior has factory installed/upgraded carbon fiber dashboard panels.

The paint is overall excellent with some normal front hood rock chips.  The convertible top is in PERFECT condition and looks like it just came off the showroom floor.
The convertible top operates flawlessly.  The interior is in immaculate perfect condition and has never seen cigarette smoke or wet dirty shoes.

The vehicle shifts like NEW.  The interior leather is also in perfect, immaculate condition.

The wheels are in overall great shape except for one scuff which I pictured. It is barely noticeable, but I photographed it up close to show.  The tires are in excellent condition.

I have all of the maintenance paperwork on the vehicle.

This car has never been in any accident, but I will disclose that I did hit a raccoon one summer night which put a small crack in the front bumper cover near the driver side fog light and opted to have the bumper cover replaced which was done to perfection. I have the repair paperwork in hand for this repair. It was a minor crack, but I couldn't live with it. So I spent nearly $1000 on the bumper cover and paint.

PLEASE - Serious inquiries only - I do not need to unload this car and will wait to get what it is worth. I will not accept low ball offers. Recent dealer auctions show that this vehicle has sold for between $11k-$13k. My vehicle is in far better condition when compared to these other auctions nationwide. Plus I am the original owner with all paperwork in hand. I will hold out for my price, but guarantee you will not find a better MR2 Spyder than this one!

Mid-engined, 621-horsepower MC20 inaugurates a new era for Maserati

Wed, Sep 9 2020

No longer embedded in the gap separating Alfa Romeo and Ferrari, Maserati is preparing to give its range of models an overhaul that's so comprehensive it merits its own chapter in the firm's history. The first car in this installment isn't a volume-generating crossover or a politically correct electric car (though, fear not, both are coming soon). It's a mid-engined, 621-horsepower coupe designed with an unabashed focus on performance. Called MC20, it will join a segment dominated by Lamborghini, McLaren, and former sister company Ferrari. Maserati explained developing the MC20 took about two years thanks in part to software-based simulation testing that saves the firm a significant amount of time and money. 97% of dynamic tests were performed using simulator designed in-house, and engineers then fine-tuned the car by testing it in real-world road and track conditions around the world. Lap times were extremely important, because the MC20 was built to race. We'll need to wait to find out where it will compete, and what it will look like in full racing regalia. Maserati has only unveiled the street-legal variant, which wears a low-mounted oval grille, swept-back headlights, and triangle-shaped rear lights. All of the brand's defining characteristics are accounted for, and stylists intentionally weaved a handful of subtle references to the MC12 built in 2004 and 2005 into the design. Viewed from the side, it wears the typical proportions we expect from a mid-engined supercar. It upholds Italy's well-earned reputation for creating poster-worthy supercars that blur the line between transportation and art Da Vinci would be proud of. Slightly bigger in person than in photos, the 3,306-pound MC20 stretches 184 inches from end to end, 77 inches wide and 48 inches tall. Its cargo capacity checks in at 1.8 cubic feet in the frunk and 3.5 cubes in the trunk. For context, the 3,423-pound Lamborghini Huracan measures 176, 76 and 46, respectively. And, for another mid-engined point of reference, the 2,943-pound Porsche 718 Cayman measures 172, 71 and 51, respectively.  Maserati chose not to give the MC20 active aerodynamic components, though the coupe depends on a small, neatly integrated rear spoiler for downforce, and it relied extensively on carbon fiber to keep weight in check. It also installed butterfly doors, but they're more functional than their made-for-Instagram flair suggests.

Maserati offers peek into Alfieri concept's design

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

This year marks Maserati's hundredth anniversary, which means we'll be spending the rest of 2014 talking about all the company's planned celebrations. The Alfieri Concept, shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, though, is quite possibly the most noteworthy part of the brand's centennial.
Named after one of the company's founder, Alfieri Maserati, the coupe is a striking piece of design, although it did manage to fall short of earning a spot on our editors' choice list for the Geneva show (we blame this more on the number of exciting products at the show rather than any shortcoming of the showcar).
In this video, Maserati Centro Stile designers take us through the process of penning the Alfieri, from the car it was inspired by, on to the actual process of designing the car. Fans of automotive design won't want to miss this video. Take a look below.

2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo offers unlimited headroom and 621 hp

Wed, May 25 2022

Maserati is returning to the convertible segment after a brief hiatus with a topless version of the MC20 named Cielo. The roadster offers the same twin-turbocharged V6 engine and carbon fiber chassis as its coupe counterpart but it gains a power-retractable glass roof panel. "Cielo" means "sky" in Italian — it's a fitting name. Visually, the MC20 Cielo is nearly identical to the MC20 coupe from the rocker panels to the belt line. It's what's above that counts: Maserati fitted the roadster with a glass roof panel that opens or closes at the push of a button in about 12 seconds. The space that it occupies is located behind the passenger compartment so engineers had to redesign the decklid, and the engine is no longer visible through a glass cover. We're told that the transformation adds only about 143 pounds to the MC20 for a curb weight of roughly 3,400 pounds. Maserati planned the convertible model from the get-go so few compromises were made during the development process. The Cielo keeps the cool butterfly-style doors, and it offers the same amount of cabin and trunk space as the coupe. Folding away in a couple of seconds isn't the roof's only trick: it can go from clear to opaque in a matter of seconds thanks to Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology. Like the coupe, the MC20 Cielo is powered by Maserati's excellent 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 engine. The mid-mounted six is twin-turbocharged to 621 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque, and it spins the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Maserati quotes a zero-to-62-mph time of approximately 3 seconds and a top speed of around 200 mph, which sounds like a quick and fun way to dry your hair. Brembo-built six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers keep the engine's power in check. Built in Italy, the 2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo will reach showrooms in the coming months. Pricing will be announced closer to the model's on-sale date. At launch, buyers will be able to order a limited-edition version called PrimaSerie Launch Edition that stands out from the standard model with a specific, three-layer paint color called Acquamarina that was initially developed for Maserati's customization program.
