$2,500 OR BEST OFFER.  DONT BE AFRAID TO MAKE AN OFFER BUT PLEASE NO INSULTING OFFERS.

I am selling this car for a friend.  You can call her at 740-317-3177 for questions or to look at it.  It's for sale in a local classified add too in the newspaper and seller reserves the right to pull this listing if it sells outside of ebay.  Do not purchase this car unless you plan on paying the deposit immediately which is $125.  That fee comes out of my bank when sold and this is not my car.

Car does not run. Last owner had the head shaved and new head gasket put on and replaced some bent valves.  The previous head gasket was leaking. Head may be from a mitsubuishi lancer to increase horsepower per the last owner. It rolls over but won't start. The owner had a guy set the timing and believes it is in time. The crank position sensor connector is broke on the engine and will need drilled, tapped, and threaded. Thats why you see the tire off in the picture. The owner tried to get someone to fix it but was beyond his skill. That may be why it won't start but not sure. Convertable  top is new. Tires are decent but not great.  Front leather seats seams are busted open across bottom cushion.  One seam on each seat.  There may be other options on this car that are not listed.  All known problems are disclosed.  By purchasing this car, buyer agrees not to hold me responsible since it is not my car.

Owner is selling this car as is and will make a great project car or rice burner.

2014 Maserati Ghibli

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Italy Passionately Returns To The Sport Sedan Game
In its 99-year history, Maserati has arguably never made a vehicle as important as this all-new Ghibli.
Of course, there have been countless styling breakthroughs, mechanical advances and technical innovations, but no single passenger car has been required to bear the weight of the Italian company like its brand-new sport sedan. If the Ghibli succeeds, Maserati will welcome tens of thousands of new customers and, most importantly, celebrate a rekindled relationship with demanding North American buyers. If the Ghibli fails - well, the truth is, nobody has written an option for failure.

Maserati to show GranCabrio MC in Paris

Mon, 24 Sep 2012

Maserati sure seems to be milking the GranTurismo franchise for all its worth these days. In addition to plenty of limited editions and sport models for both the coupe and convertible, Maserati recently launched the MC version of the hardtop. Now, ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show, the Modenese automaker has dropped details on its latest iteration of the GT platform, the GranCabrio MC.
Visually, the droptop's most noticeable change is its new face, which has been lifted directly off the MC Stradale coupe. This means the car is a full 48 millimeters longer than the standard and Sport versions of the GranCabrio, but we like the decidedly more aggressive look to that big ol' schnoz. The large rear spoiler has also been reworked for the MC, providing even more downforce to keep that large body firmly glued to the road.
Maserati has not released powertrain details, but we assume that the GranCabrio MC uses the same 4.7-liter Ferrari-sourced V8 as the MC coupe, good for 444 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Maserati orders explode, 22,500 through September

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Last year when Maserati revealed a plan to sell 50,000 units globally by 2015, it seemed like a pretty steep goal for an automaker that had sold just 6,300 units for the entire year. It turns out that goal may be a little on the conservative side. Through September, Automotive News Europe says the Italian automaker has already racked up 22,500 orders mainly on the backs of the redesigned Quattroporte and the all-new Ghibli, and there are still more new products in the pipeline.
Back in August, we heard that demand in China was playing a strong role in Maserati's big numbers in 2013, and this doesn't even include the upcoming Levante SUV, which Maserati CEO Harald Wester expects to add as many as 25,000 units to the mix when it goes on sale in 2015. According to the ANE report, the Quattroporte is still the most popular model with almost 10,000 orders so far this year, while the smaller and more affordable Ghibli is performing quite well with almost 8,000 orders; the aging, but soon-to-be-replaced, GranTurismo models have about 5,000 orders.
