No reserve 2006 Maserati Quattroporte Executive GT + many upgrades

I am selling my baby, I have owned this car for 3.5 years and still love every time I get behind the wheel.  I am not a high end used car dealer trying to make a buck, I am an individual who is passionate about his cars.  I am selling to get another Maserati.  The pictures tell the story of the meticulously maintained vehicle.   This car has never been driven in the rain or snow and has never been through a commercial car wash. Hand washed only! Consequently no swirl marks, anyone who has had a black car can appreciate.  This car has all of the luxury of the executive GT model, heated/ventilated/massage seats, power rear seats, power window shade…..ect, but with performance upgrades that outperforms the Sport GT. (More HP, Faster shifts, Louder exhaust than the sport GT)

This car will have more miles than is shown here as I still drive this vehicle 3-4 days/week.

-Brand new clutch

-All 30K and 50K services performed by certified dealer

-All oil changes by certified dealer

-Tires - Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 (substantially outperforms the OEM Pirellis)

UPGRADES:

$8k invested in performance upgrades puts this QTP near 500 HP

·        High Flow air filter - $200

·        High Power ECM Performance Chip - $2000

·        Drive by wire enhancement module - $1300 (this is a must for this car, not only improves the shifting speeds dramatically but extends the clutch life, this car got 50,000 miles on the original clutch. Most of these cars get 15-20K per clutch)

·        Larini Exhaust system

-         Mufflers - $3500

-         X-Pipe - $850

-         The OEM exhaust is very restrictive and quiet, the only way to appreciate the sound on this car is watch the video and listen… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IrF7CqeUE8&feature=youtu.be

$4,300 invested in a professionally installed upgraded electronics to make this Maserati have all of the features that new vehicles have:

Kenwood unit that controls and connects to the factory audio system that features

·        Bluetooth phone connectivity

·        I-pod connection

·        Garmin navigation (original OEM navigation is completely useless)

·        Satellite radio

·        Head unit with touch screen and run through the OEM sound system

·        DVD player

This car is titled as a lemon law car.  The First owner turned in the car at 23K miles after and three years on the lemon law for an electronic issue.(waited three years ?????)  Most of the electrical system was replaced and I purchased the car.  I have never had any issues with the car, again I am purchasing another Maserati, if I had problems I wouldn’t be interested in another Maserati.  I am also selling this vehicle locally and may end the auction early if sold prior to the end of the auction.

V8-powered Maserati Levante spied nearly naked

Thu, Sep 14 2017

I love fast SUVs. A big engine can do wonders to make a boring crossover exciting, even if they still handle like an overstuffed goldfish on wheels. That's why I'm really excited to see spy shots that show a V8-powered Maserati Levante in the flesh. Even before the Levante hit showrooms, Maserati admitted to us that a V8-powered prototype was already in existence. It seems that a full reveal is imminent. Visually, the prototype we see here only does with revised front and rear fascias. It's slightly more aggressive, but not that far removed from what's currently available. Still, we're more interested in what's under the hood. Maserati said the Quattroporte's Ferrari-assembled 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 fits in the Levante with no issues. That should be no surprise, as the two models share a basic platform. In the Quattroporte, the engine makes 523 horsepower and 479 pound feet of torque. Don't be surprised if things are cranked up in the Levante to compete with the 567 horsepower BMW X5 M and the all-new 550 horsepower Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Look for bigger brakes, stiffer suspension and more aggressive rubber. Typical performance modifications. While we don't know for sure, the V8 Levante is likely to wear the GTS badge, just like the top-dog Quattroporte. Unfortunately, the model ditches hydraulic steering for an electrically assisted unit. Still, it's sure to be a riot, at least in a straight line. Maserati Quattroporte suits up with Ermenegildo Zegna [w/video]

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

You know what no one has ever said? The Maserati Quattroporte needs more Italian style. Just the same, Maserati has teamed up with Ermenegildo Zegna to give the QP just that.
Revealed here at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the (deep breath now) Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition Concept. And by "concept", Maserati means it intends to put it into production, likely with very few tweaks over what you see here.
So what do you see here? A QP in a business suit, to sum it up. It's got a beautifully deep bronze paintjob and an interior with the finest wool textile and soft leather upholstery. The lustrous paint repeats on the wheel spokes, and of course some discreet Zegna badges inside and out. The fashion house also worked up some special fitted luggage, as you can see from our gallery of high-resolution photos from the show floor, along with the stock shots, a video and a press release below.

Maserati rules out smaller Macan rival

Tue, Mar 17 2015

These days every luxury automaker is going after the Porsche Cayenne with a crossover of its own. Among those coming up is the Maserati Levante, which will mark the Trident marque's first foray into high-riding territory. But don't expect it to follow up with a Macan rival as well. Speaking with Autocar, Maserati chief Harald Wester ruled out the possibility of a smaller crossover to join the Levante in the Modenese automaker's lineup, ostensibly because doing so would step on the toes of other brands under the Fiat Chrysler umbrella – particularly with Alfa Romeo set to launch a crossover of its own. "We are an extremely complex multi-brand group and to have every doing a little bit of everything is not the right way," Wester told the British magazine. "In this business, you should never say 'no' in a dogmatic way, but my personal opinion is that Maserati wouldn't want to go below the Levante in size." And Wester's opinion goes a long way in the halls in Turin and Auburn Hills: he's head of both the Maserati and Alfa Romeo brands, and is also the group's Chief Technology Officer. That's something that has never seemed to deter the Volkswagen Group, though, where Bentley is gearing up to take on its sister company's Cayenne with the upcoming Bentayga and is also said to be considering a Macan rival. And that's to say nothing of other SUVs occupying similar size and price positions from Volkswagen, Audi and potentially Lamborghini. Which only serves to underline the different approaches taken by Europe's two largest automakers. Look for the Levante to debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.
