2005 Maserati Quattroporte Base Sedan 4-door 4.2l on 2040-cars
Lake Forest, Illinois, United States
Estate Sale
You are bidding on a 2005 Maserati Quattroporte in near new condition. Please review the many pictures that I've made available. She has only 19,600 miles and is finished in a very rare aquamarine color with complimenting black interior. She is stunning. Designed by Pininfarina (whose firms designs virtually all of the new Ferrari's) there isn't a prettier four door sedan available by any manufacturer. In fact, the new Quatrroporte does not even resemble this fine classic. As with all 2005 Maserati's, this gorgeous sedan is loaded with virtual every option, such as: power brakes, power steering, power windows, power seats, climate control, navigation, tilt/telescopic steering, beautiful wood trim throughout the interior and more. Here are a few notable options: rear and side rear window shades parking control sensors sunroof Bose Stereo System ( an outstanding system) F1 automatic transmission (with less than 20,000 miles she operates perfectly) - paddle shifters refinished rims (all four) tires are near new also The car smells new, drives new, looks new - you'll be hard pressed to find anything wrong with this car. All books, records, cards, nav disks, etc are included with this car. The previous owner was a car collector and took extremely good care of his cars. She is, however, out of warranty and is sold as is. She has a clean car fax report - I see no signs of any accidents or damage. The rims had normal curb rash, so I had them refinished. The pictures speak for themselves. Title is in hand. Please ask your questions prior to bidding. I answer all emails. I encourage inspections - and will make the car available and provide a lift. A winning bid is a contract and I treat it as such. A $2000 deposit is required within 48 hours. The balance within 7 days of the end of the auction. I do not offer financing and never believe that your "child" bid on the car. It's a business transaction. |

Maserati CEO says new Alfieri will finally make Geneva in 2020
Thu, Mar 7 2019Maserati's long-delayed Alfieri will be shown at Geneva a year from now, says company CEO Harald Wester. The Alfieri will be the model to replace the GranTurismo coupe, the production of which is expected to end later this year as Maserati's Modena plant is overhauled and retooled for the new car. Autocar reports that Wester placed the Alfieri's reveal for Geneva 2020, but that series production will not begin until 2021-2022. Earlier reports had timed the Alfieri pre-production to begin in early 2020, in time for Geneva. The Maserati lineup will be significantly updated in the near future, and will feature extensive electrification, from mild hybrids to fully electric vehicles. "Any product we touch or make will have significant electrification," Wester told Autocar. "The main launches for new products are in 2021-22, and by the end of 2022 we will have a completely new range. For each and every lineup, we will have a full battery electric version. Not only that but at least one." Future models will also include updated versions of Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante. The Alfieri was originally shown as a concept in 2014, but the delays have forced the 2008-introduced GranTurismo to soldier on. When the Alfieri finally comes, however, it will do so as a PHEV, a mild hybrid and a full electric version. Maserati is also adamant it will build electrified sports cars profitably. "Maserati is one of the few brands who can sell cars at the cost and reality of the technology and still make money," said Wester. Related Video:
Ferrari LaFerrari supercar to spawn Maserati LaMaserati?
Fri, 22 Mar 2013CAR reports Maserati may benefit from the introduction of Enzo-succeeding Ferrari LaFerrari (shown below). According to unnamed parties, Maserati is keen to create a successor for the MC12 (above) based on the bones of the new Ferrari.
Details are about as scarce as they come, but CAR reckons Maserati has a few options when it comes to building its own supercar. Those include using the suspension, chassis and electrical systems of the Ferrari but with a unique carbon fiber body and without the LaFerrari's hybrid system. The new take on the MC12 could use a detuned version of the 6.3-liter V12 from the LaFerrari or stick a quad-turbo 3.8-liter V8 behind the front seats.
The latter option could see the next MC12 yield up to 900 horsepower, putting it within reach of its cousin as well as hardware like the McLaren P1. Of course, all of this - including our fanciful name in the headline - is just speculation for the time being. CAR says that if the machine makes its way to production, it would could cost well over $1.3 million.
