2007 07 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited 81,000 Miles White Chocolate Moonroof on 2040-cars
Warren, Indiana, United States
This is a very nice 2007 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited, in nice condition. The MSRP when new was $48,950.00. The car has 2 keys and 2 fobs and all owners manuals and supplements in a Lincoln pouch. Options to note are power moonroof, 17 inch Chromed Aluminum Wheels, in dash 6 CD, memory 1 & 2, heated front seats, not to mention the normal options. See more in the fine print above. The car has normal wear and tear, a few (not bad) parking lot dings (considering it's age and miles), but still nice inside and out. The tires are very good with lots of tread. Much of the maintenance has been done in our shop. Just completed in our shop was a used vehicle inspection, The brakes are like new. We did a transmission flush, coolant system flush, fuel filter and replaced both rear axle seals. This car is ready for the road. The vehicle is at Crain Ford Inc. Warren, Indiana. www.crain-ford.com. We are a small Ford dealer and can give personal service. We may be able to arrange financing for you. We would prefer that you arrange your own method of pick up and or shipping. We would like a down payment through PayPal of $500.00 within 48 hours of auction ending, unless other arrangements were made prior. Deposits are non-refundable. Crain Ford does not charge any doc or paperwork fees. NOTE: According to Indiana law, Crain Ford must charge sales tax of 7% regardless of what state you live in. The sales tax is payment in most other states used as sales tax payment in that state. If your state sales tax is greater than 7%, you will have to pay the difference in your state. If it is less you may not get a refund or credit. The only exception would be if you are a vehicle dealer (tax exempt) with a dealer license. You should check with your state ahead of buying. So, whatever the final bid is, 7% will be added. NOTE ABOUT THE RESERVE PRICE: Our reserve is $10,900.00, way below NADA retail of $13,375.00. Extra clean black book wholesale is $12,500.00. We may sell this vehicle prior to the auction ending and will end the listing. Call Jerry for more information, cell 260-519-4474, or toll free 888-242-3673, please ask for JERRY. Preposed class-action lawsuit targets 'defective' MyFord Touch
Tue, 16 Jul 2013A national law firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, has filed a proposed class action lawsuit whose presupposition is that MyFord Touch is defective. Specifically, the complaint states that the system - as well as the MyLincoln Touch and MyMercury Touch clones - often freeze, fail to respond to voice or touch commands and have issues connecting to mobile phones.
According to Hagens Berman managing partner Steve Berman, MyFord Touch is a theoretically "brilliant idea" that falls short in actual execution. Said Berman in a press release, "In reality, the system is fundamentally flawed, failing to reliably provide functionality, amounting to an inconvenience at best, and a serious safety issue at worst."
Other MFT issues enumerated within the 41-page filing include problems controlling the window defroster, rear-view camera and navigation system. The suit maintains that Ford is aware of the problem but has yet to submit a workable and acceptable solution to MFT customers. Scroll down if you'd like to read the full press release.
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
