Selling this for my dad. If I didn't have a Challenger I would of just kept this car for myself. This is a two owner very well maintained, very clean, always garage kept Lincoln Town Car Cartier (Rolex leather) edition. I bought it, owned it for 22 days, put 17 miles on it, and decided to sell it to my dad. It is listed as three owners but technically only had two. This car was originally special ordered which is why it has as many options as it does. Original sticker price on a loaded Cartier was around 50 thousand dollars.

This is said to be one of the rarest town cars as it's the first year of the new body style and the last year of the Cartier. This car was garage kept in great condition. Shows regular wear and tare. These cars get 26 mpg highway fuel mileage and are designed to run on 87 pump gas. The Lincoln Town Car was one of the only cars in history to have a five star safety rating in all five categories. This thing is built to win a crash. The Lincoln Town Car is said to be one of the smoothest riding vehicles ever produced. This car is designed to make you less fatigued when you use it. The steering is heavy on the highway for control and light in town for ease. This car is easy to drive considering it's size and presence on the road.

This car was bought to travel and has around 118,000 highway miles. Highway miled vehicles show less ware than those driven at lower speeds.

These cars are known to last very long and have very few problems. The 4.6 V8 was battle tested in the Police Interceptor Crown Vics and Mustangs. Limo companies drives these into the 350,000 plus mile range.

This car gets looks and compliments everywhere it goes. The extra chrome, ragged top, and gun metal silver makes this Lincoln stand out. Built like a true American Classic.

Fully Loaded to include:
-It's silver metallic, with a dark navy ragged top.
-Side airbags.
-Rare factory Lincoln Chrome rims.
-Upgraded factory Bose sound system with Alpine receiver.
-Trunk cd changer with in dash cassette and second CD player.
-Cartier package with full Cartier leather interior.
-Chrome package.
-Parking assist with backup alert.
-Dual front heated seats.
-Michelin Hydro Edge H rated tires. These tires make this car extremely good in the rain. They are new and the best match for this style car.
-Traction system for the snow.
-Power sun roof.
-Power adjustable peddles.

Fresh Amco Transmission Co. completed a full transmission rebuild two years ago. This tranny is completely new and done right.

From 2003-2009 this car was owned on a lease by a funeral home in NJ. It was obviously garage kept and well maintained.  An NJ dealer bought it for his personal vehicle.

The driver's side power seat motor needs to be replaced. The seats move forward and back when you open the door. This feature makes it easier to get in and out of the car. It also wears on the seat motor quicker than normal. The am/fm radio antenna is loose. If I fix it I will end up keeping this car. New fuel pump, break pads, rotors, new battery, tune up, and all fluids changed. Current inspection.

These cars are getting harder to come by in this condition. Limo and taxi companies are buying them up and running them into the ground. Act now on one that still looks as good as it runs.

This car is still driven on the weekends and as a result mileage will increase.

Does Lincoln Zephyr trademark mean a return to real names?

Wed, May 25 2016

Lincoln's long history includes many legendary names, and despite its short life, Zephyr retains a spot in that pantheon. Perhaps its will return once again: Ford Motor Co. applied to trademark Zephyr on May 11. Trademark filings can have ambiguous meanings, and often they're legal plays to get or keep the rights to a name. But in the last year, we've seen signs Lincoln is looking to use real names on its vehicles again. Obviously, it's keeping Navigator for its flagship sport-utility vehicle with a new model due next year. Reprising Continental for the MKS replacement was also well received. That said, Lincoln still uses the MKX and MKC "names" for its crossovers. Zephyr is a dustier moniker. It was used in the 1930s and '40s on a mid-level model spearheaded by Edsel Ford. The stylishly aerodynamic model was set between the Ford V8 De Luxe and more expensive Lincolns. It returned in 2006 as the Lincoln version of the Ford Fusion before that model was renamed MKZ. Mercury also used Zephyr on its version of the Ford Fairmont in the late 1970s and early '80s. Ford last held a trademark on the Zephyr name in 2013. The filing says Ford seeks to use Zephyr for "motor vehicles and parts and accessories therefor." That could mean a new car — or just parts. Putting the Zephyr badge back on the MKZ is the most likely bet. Meanwhile, Ford also moved to get the Thunderbird trademark on May 11 for the same vehicles and parts purpose, and it filed for the Mustang trademark for shampoo and lotions on May 4. A Lincoln spokesman said, "In the normal course of our business, we file trademarks for names," but had no further information. Related Video:

Lincoln releases power and economy ratings for 2015 MKC with 2.3L EcoBoost

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

As the first 2015 MKC crossovers slip into dealerships, Lincoln has confirmed power and fuel economy ratings for the compact crossover's optional 2.3-liter Ecoboost four-cylinder engine.
The new range-topping powerplant, thus far otherwise unavailable in the Blue Oval kingdom, will net a healthy 285 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 305 pound-feet of torque from 2,750 revs. Those figures represent gains of 10 hp and 5 lb-ft over earlier estimates, putting the handsome new compact CUV in the hunt with up-engined rivals from Audi and BMW. (A variant of the 2.3L will shortly find its way into the engine bay of the 2015 Ford Mustang, albeit with a number of key changes, including north-south orientation.)
In the MKC, the new engine will net 18 miles per gallon in the city and 26 on the highway with standard all-wheel drive, meaning it only loses a single mile per gallon in the city cycle versus the 240-hp, 270-lb-ft 2.0L EcoBoost model when fitted with all-wheel drive. Both engines rely on the same six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.

2015 Lincoln MKC priced from $33,995* [w/poll]

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Looking to build on the momentum it struggled to establish with the MKZ, Lincoln recently unveiled the production version of its all-new MKC last month at the LA Auto Show. With a proven platform shared with the Ford Escape and striking design, the 2015 Lincoln MKC goes on sale next summer ready to take on the ever-expanding world of luxury compact crossovers. Breaking into this new segment, Lincoln has priced the MKC aggressively as one of the least-expensive offerings in its class, starting at $33,995 (*including destination charges).
At that price, the 2015 MKC costs a little bit more than a fully loaded 2014 Ford Escape Titanium and is just slightly less costly than the Acura RDX and Volvo XC60. More importantly, it's thousands less than Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes GLK-Class. The MKC will be offered in three trim levels for now - there is still no more information about Lincoln's new Black Label products - ranging from the base Premiere up to the range-topping Reserve.
The Premiere will come standard with features like active grille shutters, push-button start, remote start, dual-zone climate control and heated front seats, while the midgrade Select starts at $37,225 and adds upgraded 18-inch wheels, ambient lighting, daytime running lights and a steering wheel featuring Wollsdorf leather. The top-shelf Reserve trim level starts at $40,930 and brings even more luxury features including the panoramic roof, navigation, cooled front seats and wifi access.
