This is one of those rare opportunities for you to obtain a "VERY CLEAN AND NEAR MINT" 2003 LINCOLN TOWN CAR with the premium Cartier option. This automobile was personally owned by my father who recently passed away at the age of 85. It has always been garage kept and methodically maintained plus has never been involved in an accident. The very striking color combination is exterior paint code HC which translates into Ivory Parchment Metallic Pearl with the interior trim code of QF which is Nudo Leather with Light Parchment accompaniments. The motorcar still possess’s all of it’s original exterior paint and interior trim which are all VERY NICE as clearly evidenced in the images presented. The car displays 147,000 original (primarily highway) miles of which all of you Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury afficionados / service technicians/ and previous owners of these series of Ford products know is less that 1/2 life for the 4.6 Ford engineered engine assemblies in addition to all of the other components, suspension and otherwise as well. When driving this car it ABSOLUTELY runs, shifts, rides, and generally performs as if it has just left the Lincoln dealers showroom floor in 2003! All components and accessories work "as new" and the air conditioning blows cold. Inconsistencies from perfect are that the radio display shows intermittently however when gently pressed to the left of the radio assembly the display immediately shows, the front bumper fascia has some chipping/peppering from road use as well as the headlights have some peppering when viewed close up, there are some minor paint imperfections here and there but only one very small ding on the right rear wheelhouse slightly above the stainless wheel house trim, again only visible "up close". The car has absolutely NO door dings or dents anywhere and there is NO RUST on this automobile. There are no rips or tears on any of the interior upholstery or carpeting, in addition there is no staining anywhere, the cabin has NEVER been smoked in and still smells factory fresh and new. When viewed at a normal viewing distance the car appears "as new". Michelin Energy LX4 225/60 R 17 tires are present, all matching with 8/32nd’s tread depth. Recent updates include but are not limited to: new NAPA premium battery, new Wagner thermo quiet brake pads (all four wheels), new serpentine belt, new "E" spark plugs, recent Castrol Edge synthetic oil and filter change, new Motorcraft fuel filter, and a professional rebuild of the original alternator. There are NO oil leaks. Original owners manual, warranty booklet, scheduled maintenance guide, (etc.), two key sets and remote fobs, 1 valet key, and a clear Missouri title is available to the purchaser. Car appears to have every factory option they offered in 2003. This is one of the last series of Lincoln’s that was or will be produced that has that element of Prestige, Luxury, Status, and Class, with a full frame that the Lincoln Motor Company was founded on... Clean NADA retail book value on this Cartier with options is $7,800.00, the reserve price on this Lincoln is much less. Please feel free to email with any questions you may have. Thank you and good luck.

Lincoln unveils its Black Label Collection at Pebble Beach

Thu, 15 Aug 2013

With the posh surroundings of Monterey, CA during the Pebble Beach week as a backdrop, Lincoln has unveiled is new personalization and luxury service brand, called Lincoln Black Label. Following in the footsteps of programs like BMW Individual, Range Rover Autobiography, and many more, Black Label is strategic strike, aimed at upping Lincoln's brand cachet while luring new customers into the fold. Speaking about this at the Black Label's introduction in California Thursday, Jim Farley, Ford's executive vice president of Global Marketing, Sales and Service and Lincoln, told members of the media that "At Lincoln, our flagship is, you get to choose. That's our flagship."
While Black Label customers will benefit from concierge-like service from their dealers - both during the sale process and throughout ownership - the focus of the introduction is strongly focused on interior design.
Lincoln chose its current MKZ sedan and its MKC Concept crossover (seen in the inset image) as the debutants for Black Label treatment for good reason: the well-received MKC points the way forward for Lincoln styling as a whole, and the MKZ will be the first production vehicle to receive the option of the high-zoot interior design. We're told that eventually, Black Label treatment will be available for the full Lincoln lineup, but the MKZ will be the initial recipient, and not until late in 2014 according to the company's current projections.

Why the 2015 Lincoln MKC is 'holding some powder'

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Earlier this month in our first drive of the 2015 MKC, we told you that Lincoln finally had a new vehicle in its arsenal worth crowing about. So with the compact premium crossover now finding its way into dealers, why aren't you seeing its likeness plastered on billboards and barraging you on television? It's because Lincoln is "holding some powder."
Those are the words of Lincoln's global director, Matt VanDyke, who tells Autoblog that the company is holstering some of its marketing guns because it's keen to avoid repeating the ill-timed efforts that blighted its last rollout, the MKZ. That vehicle's launch early last year was beset by various delays related to manufacturing and quality. The cadence issue was so dire that by the time the model reached showrooms in volume, Lincoln had already blown most of its budget on things like Super Bowl ads that ran weeks or even months before customers could check one out in person. It was a particularly trying series of events for parent Ford because the MKZ and its oversized marketing spend were charged with relaunching the Lincoln brand to the public.
Keen to avoid repeating the same timing issue and mindful of consumers' habits at this time of year, Lincoln is taking a different strategy with the MKC. According to VanDyke, "What we don't want to do is try and fight the summertime - people using television being down, and other mass media when school's out. New television shows aren't on." Of course, that doesn't mean Lincoln is sitting idle. VanDyke says, "By no means are we quiet during the next 90 days. This year, we're going to really spend the next 60 to 90 days using digital and social media, in-theater advertising and the like, and once we have full availability at dealerships, we'll really ramp up the advertising later on in the summer." Part of that early media effort includes immersive digital marketing like Lincoln's clever Dream Rides web experience.
