2003 Lincoln Cartier- Excellent- 2nd Owner- Alpine- Cd Changer -fog Lights- on 2040-cars
Loveland, Colorado, United States
I purchased this Town Car in March of 2010 from the son of the original owner and the car had only 27,000 miles on it. This Lincoln was a Florida car when I bought it. Since I bought it, it's been in Loveland, Colorado. This Cartier has never been smoked in, nor has it ever been wrecked, and it always has been in a nice garage. It has brand new Cooper 80,000 mile radial Touring tires and has NO negative conditions of any kind. The buyer can fly here to Denver, where I will pick you up, and you can drive it trouble free to any place you would like to take it. I think this Cartier has every option that was available except for a moon roof. I have both original keys with the key fobs, along with all the factory books that came with the car when it was new. Some of the other options on this Town Car are: HEATED MEMORY LEATHER SEATS, 8 WAY POWER SEATS, POWER HEATED OUTSIDE MIRRORS, AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL FOR BOTH FRONT PASSENGER SEATS, LEATHER AND WOOD STEERING WHEEL, POWER ADJUSTIBLE BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS, AND THE 4 ORIGINAL FLOOR MATS. THIS BEAUTIFUL CARTIER IS IN PERFECT MECHANICAL CONDITION AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE E-MAIL ME OR Call me at 970-461-8719 or cell # 303-746-3755. GOOD LUCK BIDDING. |

Production 2017 Lincoln Continental arrives with 400-hp V6
Tue, Jan 12 2016Lincoln still isn't saying much about its new flagship, the long-awaited Continental. Instead, it's got to get everyone's attention. The brand that's been threatening to get a genuine luxury game going for years probably wants people to sit inside the fullsize sedan to learn what it's got, and we think that's a great idea. One good bit we know is that the new Continental is powered by a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 with "a projected" 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. We also know the marketing folks have the luxury-speak down, with lavish promises of heated, cooled, and massaging Perfect Position 30-way seats that adjust to shape and weight, as well as climate-controlled seats for rear passengers that also recline, and "generous rear legroom." Themed interior appointments come in Chalet, Thoroughbred, and Rhapsody selections, perceived-quality boosted further by a specific number of stitches-per-inch on the leather, a laser-cut door on the instrument panel, and real wood and aluminum trim. Acoustic laminated glass, active noise control, and available Revel audio are meant to insure serenity. Technology points are scored with optional adaptive steering and all-wheel drive, three drive modes, dynamic torque vectoring, surround-view cameras, adaptive cruise control, and pre-collision braking. We will really begin to know the new Continental when we sit in it later today at the Detroit Auto Show, for now there's the press release below. All-New Lincoln Continental Delivers Quiet Luxury: Elegant, Effortlessly Powerful, Serene - Lincoln Motor Company introduces its elegant new flagship – the all-new Continental – coming this fall - Effortless power comes from new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces a projected 400 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque1; advanced safety technology is also featured - Serene interior offers the comfort of Lincoln's innovative Perfect Position Seat, spaciousness, rear seat amenities, Revel® audio system and top-grade materials DETROIT, Jan. 12, 2016 – Lincoln Motor Company heralds the return of its flagship – the all-new Lincoln Continental – an elegant, effortlessly powerful, serene full-size sedan that delivers quiet luxury to the industry's most discerning customers. Lincoln MKX Concept goes for the gold in Beijing
Sun, 20 Apr 2014We've now seen the Lincoln MKX Concept in the metal, and we've shot it with the lenses of our own DSLR cameras. And we have to say, our opinion of the concept's design language has improved over our initial reaction. Yes, it's clear that this MKX shares its underpinnings with those of the Ford Edge Concept that we saw in LA, but the changes made by Lincoln stylists are a welcome departure from the angular lines of its corporate cousin from The Blue Oval.
We like the subtlety of the MKX Concept's front fascia, and the lighting elements both front and rear lend a luxurious quality to the crossover's typical two-box proportions. When combined with the smaller MKC that was shown in production form late last year, it's clear to see that Lincoln has a specific design direction that at least seems visually capable of setting it apart from the Ford models with which the brand shares its platforms. Here's hoping there are some Lincoln-specific upgrades underhood...
Have a look at our image gallery of live photos from Beijing above, reread the press release below, and feel free to let us know what you think.
Ford's struggles in China continue as November sales drop 8 percent
Mon, Dec 11 2017Ford's sales in China fell 8 percent in November from a year ago, following a 5 percent decline in October, the U.S. automaker said on Monday. The firm's sales in the first 11 months of the year totaled 1.06 million vehicles, down 6 percent from the same period a year ago. Ford's China sales growth has lagged behind rivals in the world's top auto market this year, with the carmaker now looking to overhaul its strategy to revive growth in China under new chief executive Jim Hackett. Among other moves, the review of its China operations will likely see Ford focus on segments such as electric cars and electric commercial vans, with China encouraging to help clean up its polluted and congested city centers. Ford is looking to roll out more new-energy vehicles for China and is planning to experiment with a more direct selling approach in a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
