I am offering an incredible Lincoln Town Car with the Cartier package. The car is really in amazing condition . The car has 177000 miles but the previous owner was obsessed with keeping maintenance matters current. The car will come with a folder full of receipts attesting to the money spent on replacing front suspension pars, air conditioning, and even a NEW[not rebuilt] transmission within the last 50000 miles. Basically, whatever the car needed was done.
Today the exterior of the car looks nearly new and the interior leather is nearly flawless. There is one small spot on a rear seat panel that had some type of repair, but that is it. Mechanically, all systems function as they should with no know issues or needs. You just can't find a vehicle in this condition with all the luxury for the price I am asking.
My son bought the car from an elderly relative with the thought of taking it on campus at a university, but that would be a terrible misuse of this fine automobile. He needs a "beater' that he doesn't need to worry about getting dinged up or dented. So, the car is being offered at reasonable BUY it NOW of $4500 and an opening bid of $2000.
Of course the car is being sold on an "as is" basis with no warranty expressed or implied. The winning bidder must send a $500 deposit thru Paypal and the balance to be paid with cash in person or a Cashier's Check. In the case of a Cashier's Check the car and title will not be released until the check has cleared my bank.
Any costs related to picking the car up or having it transported are the sole responsibility of the winning bidder

Ford hybrid sales rebound following MPG controversy
Sun, 31 Aug 2014Ford hybrid customers apparently have very short memories. With two EPA fuel economy reratings in the last year, sales of the C-Max, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ haven't been too terribly dented, Ward's Auto reports.
All three vehicles saw sales dips following the August 2013 rerating, although sales of the MKZ Hybrid had begun to rebound as early as November of that year. C-Max sales, meanwhile, took slightly longer, with sales on a steadily improving course as early as February of this year.
The second rerating, in June of this year, has had an even smaller effect on the Blue Oval's hybrids. The C-Max has actually been subject to a sales increase, while both the MKZ and Fusion saw minor sales drops (less than 400 units between the two in the month following the rerating).
Feds Probe Power Steering In 938,000 Ford Midsize Cars
Mon, Oct 6 2014U.S. safety regulators are investigating complaints that the power-assisted steering can suddenly fail on three Ford midsize car models. The probe covers 938,000 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ cars from the 2010 through 2012 model years, as well as the 2010 and 2011 Mercury Milan. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it has received 508 complaints alleging that the cars lost power-assisted steering, causing increased steering effort. Four complaints say the problem caused crashes, but no injuries were reported. The agency says in documents posted Monday on its website that in many cases, a warning message appeared as the failure happened. Restarting the car corrected the problem in some cases, but the problem returned in others. The agency says it will check the scope and frequency of a problem. It could seek a recall. Ford says it's cooperating with the probe. Shares of Ford Motor Co. rose 6 cents to $14.65 in morning trading Monday. Its shares are down 14 percent over the past year. Ford to update Sync, MyFord Touch software... again
Wed, 07 Aug 2013Ford hasn't had the best luck with its MyFord Touch and Sync systems, as the finicky infotainment system has been subject to a critical whooping while customer issues have helped sink Ford's IQS scores. The automaker has made a concerted effort, though, to try and fix MyFord Touch. And while the results have been mixed, The Blue Oval is hoping its latest free update, set to go live next week, will make things better.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the new system promises streamlined voice commands with fewer levels between opening query and actual result. Ford is also addressing where certain options are selected on the touchscreen. Rather than working one of the four quadrants on the homescreen, users will be able to select anywhere within the quadrant to make adjustments.
While it might only be a band-aid for MFT's problems, the fact that Ford is still trying to improve it is a promising sign. It's going to take more than just this update to address the system's ills, though.
