THIS CAR WAS OWNED BY SWARTZ FUNERAL HOME HERE IN FREEPORT ILLINOIS, IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND HAS BEEN SEVICIED REGULARY. THE ENGINE IS PERFECT AND YOU CANNOT EVEN FEEL THE IDLE SITTING AT A STOP SIGN. EVERYTHING WORKS ON THIS LINCOLN, ALL UPDATES ARE DONE AND THE TRANSMISSION HAD THE 70,000 MILE SERVICE DONE. THIS CAR HAS NO RUST INSIDE OF OUT SIDE THE DOORS AND THE PAINT IS STILL GREAT. THERE IS ONE VERY SMALL SPOT ON THE LOWER LEFT SIDE THAT IS ABOUT A QUARTER SIZE SPOT THAT MY LOCAL BODY SHOP SAID THEY WOULD FIX FOR 100.00. IT IS VERY MINOR. I WOULD NOT BE WORRIED IF I NEED TO GET INTO IT RIGHT NOW AND HEAD FOR LA, CALIF. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST 96 TOWN CARS I HAVE EVER SEEN. THERE IS A CD PLAYER THAT GOES WITH THIS CAR. THIS ONLY HAS REAR AIR BAGS AND THEY PUT NEW REAR SUSPENSION AIR BAGS IN IT LAST YEAR. THE AIR RIDE WORKS GREAT. THE ONLY REASON IT NEEDED THEM IS BECAUSE IT SAT ALOT IN THE GARAGE AT THE FUNERAL HOME. NEW BATTERY AND NEVER SMOKED IN!!

Lincoln unveils its Black Label Collection at Pebble Beach
Thu, 15 Aug 2013With the posh surroundings of Monterey, CA during the Pebble Beach week as a backdrop, Lincoln has unveiled is new personalization and luxury service brand, called Lincoln Black Label. Following in the footsteps of programs like BMW Individual, Range Rover Autobiography, and many more, Black Label is strategic strike, aimed at upping Lincoln's brand cachet while luring new customers into the fold. Speaking about this at the Black Label's introduction in California Thursday, Jim Farley, Ford's executive vice president of Global Marketing, Sales and Service and Lincoln, told members of the media that "At Lincoln, our flagship is, you get to choose. That's our flagship."
While Black Label customers will benefit from concierge-like service from their dealers - both during the sale process and throughout ownership - the focus of the introduction is strongly focused on interior design.
Lincoln chose its current MKZ sedan and its MKC Concept crossover (seen in the inset image) as the debutants for Black Label treatment for good reason: the well-received MKC points the way forward for Lincoln styling as a whole, and the MKZ will be the first production vehicle to receive the option of the high-zoot interior design. We're told that eventually, Black Label treatment will be available for the full Lincoln lineup, but the MKZ will be the initial recipient, and not until late in 2014 according to the company's current projections.
2015 Lincoln Navigator ready to roll for $62,475*
Wed, 21 May 2014Fancy picking up a refreshed Lincoln Navigator? Well, prepare to shell out at least $62,475. That's a whopping increase of $6,310 for the now-EcoBoost-equipped SUV.
That's just for the two-wheel-drive Select model, though. Want to drive all four wheels? Better have an extra $3,575 laying around. Snagging the top-of-the-line Reserve model, meanwhile, demands a premium of $7,500.
For those extra bills, you'll net Lincoln Drive Control, complete with continuously controlled dampers, power running boards, Ziricote wood interior trim, upgraded leather, 22-inch wheels, a "unique" interior headliner and, of course, a "Reserve" badge.
Ford is recalling more Takata airbag-equipped Ford and Lincoln models
Thu, Mar 2 2017The Basics: Takata, the beleaguered airbag supplier at the root of the largest recall in automotive history, has informed Ford of a problem with the airbags in just over 30,000 Ford and Lincoln models. The problem is not related to the non-desiccated ammonium nitrate airbag inflators that plague the other airbags ( including many Fords), meaning there isn't a risk of shrapnel flying out from the units in this particular recall. The Problem: In the event of an accident, the front airbags may only partially inflate, and the airbag may become detached from the module because of misaligned parts. The problem affects 2016 and 2017 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX models built at the Oakville Assembly Plant. The issue also affects 2017 Lincoln Continentals that were built at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant. Injuries/Deaths: In a release, Ford stated that it is not aware of any accidents, injuries, or deaths related to the airbag issue. The Fix: Dealers will replace the driver-side front airbag module at no cost. If You Own One: Sit tight and wait for Ford to notify owners. When that happens, take your car to the dealer for a replacement. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
