This is my 1994 Lincoln Limousine 10 passenger with Business name and clients (If sold in the Midwest). I used this Limo for a Concert we promoted and it is being used now for $75.00 an hour. The outside is very nice with a new Black padded vinyl top with all new Tinting--New tires all around--Stripping and Lettering. All new outside "Blue" exterior lights on the sides and rear of the car. The interior is excellent condition-All new lighting--2 Flat Screen TV's--new DVD--New Cd player w/ Radio--8 to10 speakers in the car--Strobe lights--Full Bar and Glasses--Ready to work. ***The Autographed Basketballs stay with me***The mechanical condition is the best part of the limousine--A/C works great front and back--All new front end work with alignment--New rear springs with new air shocks--I was told it had a new engine and transmission when I purchased the car last year in Houston, Texas. I didn't believe them! I personally drove the car last week 1300 miles with 8 people in the car sometimes @ 75 miles an hour--It burned NO oil and I got 25 MPG which I was very surprised. I made this vehicle as nice as I could. It is not perfect but it is a great Limo to start with or to add to a fleet where you don't have to put 1000's in the car. Any questions please ask and if you can come look at the car. I will sell the Fantasy Name if you want but not my website--I have other businesses under that name. Thx for reading!

2002 Lincoln Continental concept should've made production, headed for auction instead

Fri, 26 Sep 2014

It seems like the retro design aesthetic in autos might be petering out, with even a former poster child like the Ford Mustang taking a step in a more modern direction. Sometimes those updates of old-school models really worked well, though. Just take a look above at the Lincoln Continental concept from 2002 that took the extruded shape of the 1960s version and updated it for the new millennium.
Now there's a chance for this gorgeous concept to take a spot in your garage, as RM Auctions is selling it as part of a 130-plus-car, no-reserve auction of the Sam Pack Collection on November 14 and 15, in Dallas, TX. Among the lots for sale are a number of Fords, including several recent concepts from the brand. "My collecting philosophy is simple: buy what I like, but always with an emphasis on quality," Pack said in the auction announcement.
The Continental concept absolutely nails the mix of modern and retro. Its perfectly crisp lines make the shape appear hewn from a single piece of metal, and there's just the slightest ornamentation with the angled, chrome slats in the grille and chrome strips over the wheel arches. It even retains the suicide doors from its inspiration.

Ellen DeGeneres sends up Matthew McConaughey's Lincoln ad

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

Lincoln had to have known that when it released its new ad campaign for the new MKC with Matthew McConaughey, it would open itself up to a bit of good old fashioned ridicule. The television commercial was, after all, good for a laugh or two. And true to their mission, talk show hosts haven't missed the opportunity to have a little fun at Lincoln's and McConaughey's expense.
Conan O'Brien was first to send up the television spot, but now Ellen DeGeneres has taken a stab at it too, superimposing herself in the back seat of the compact luxury crossover, downing some pot brownies and generally playing Costello to McConaughey's Abbott. It's worth a watch, if only to see Ellen getting down in her usual, offbeat style.

Lincoln 'not true luxury' yet, says Ford design chief

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Lincoln is "not true luxury," according to Ford's design boss, J Mays. His statements come from a story in The Detroit News that saw candid language on the issues facing Ford's troubled premium brand. Notably, there's a need for a strong character, with Mays saying, "Every brand needs to have a DNA and a unique selling point and things in the vehicle that make you think, 'That's that particular brand.'"
With a range of rebadged Fords, it's not hard to see why that DNA is missing. Mays hinted that a full recovery for Lincoln will be a ten-year process, that's been kicked off with the MKZ sedan. While that car is still largely a Ford Fusion under its extremely pretty wrapper, it's the first Lincoln in some time to inject its own unique take both through the exterior styling and through interior features, such as the vertical, pushbutton gear selection.
Some analysts weren't so certain about Mays' 10-year estimate. Jim Hall of 2953 Analytics thinks it'll be more like 30 years before Lincoln can show a true return to form. The issue, as Hall explains it, is that, "luxury has a degree of exclusivity," that Lincoln just doesn't have. Michelle Krebs from Edmunds adds, "it's definitely a wanna-be luxury brand," comparing the troubled American brand with Infiniti and Acura, two other brands that have struggled to find their place in the luxury market.
