Lehighton, Pennsylvania, United States
Up for auction is my wifes 2007 Lincoln mkz awd. This vehicle runs and drives 100%, if you want to own one of the best awd drive vehicles this is it. The engine runs perfect with no noises of any kind. The transmission is also in perfect condition shifting threw all the gears. The interior is in great condition with no rips or tears please look at pictures, every option in the vehicle works. The exterior is also in great condition with no dents and plenty of shine. I have to say we will not be selling this vehicle if my wife was not transfer to Philadelphia to work, she put 30,000 miles in 1 year alone without giving us any problems and most of the miles on this vehicle are all highway. I had a set of new tires installed almost $900 for the set installed, new front and rear brakes, this vehicle is ready to go. I replaced the front bumper with a new one due to a small crack in the left corner and painted to match. I gave this vehicle to my wife last year after purchasing from my neighbor after hitting deer. I replaced the hood, headlights, front bumper, grille and the plastic radiator support there is no air bag deployment, frame damage at all guaranteed and will be written on bill of sale. The bottom line is this vehicle is really nice and the only reason my wife does not still have it is because of the mileage she was putting on the vehicle and all instate buyers will get a 30 day warranty. This vehicle will be sold with a PA reconstructed title which can be registered in any state without further inspections except for the state of NY which they will charge you $200 for a re-inspection. the vehicle currently has a PA inspection the is good until 3-15-2015. Ford recalls 600,000 older-model sedans for braking issue
Fri, Dec 20 2019Ford is recalling 600,166 older-model Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles over an issue that could affect braking and increase the risk of a crash. The safety recall covers certain Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ sedans from the 2006 through 2010 model years that were built at Ford’s Hermosillo Assembly Plant in Mexico between Feb. 22, 2006, and July 15, 2009. Ford says a valve that is normally closed inside the hydraulic control unit may get stuck in the open position or be slow to close, which could make it harder to engage the brakes and increase risk of a crash. Ford says itÂ’s aware of 15 reports of accidents and two injuries possibly related to the issue. Dealers will inspect the hydraulic control unit for signs of the problem and replace it, if necessary. The dealers will pressure-flush the system with brake fluid and replace the reservoir cap with a new one. Ford is also issuing a small recall of 33 of its 2020 F-150 trucks in the U.S. and 51 in Canada over potentially damaged spare tires. It says the bead area on the tires may have been damaged when it was mounted onto the wheel assembly, leaving it vulnerable to corrosion, separation of the bead wire and ultimately a rapid loss of air pressure and detachment from the wheel. Dealers will replace the spare tire. Affected vehicles were built at the Dearborn Truck Plant from Nov. 10-21 of this year.
Ford recalls 1.9m cars and crossovers for defective airbags
Wed, Jun 1 2016The Basics: Ford is recalling a total of 1,898,728 vehicles to replace defective Takata front passenger-side airbags. This includes the 2007-2010 Ford Edge, 2006-2011 Ford Fusion, 2005-2011 Ford Mustang, 2007-2011 Ford Ranger, 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX and 2006-2011 Lincoln MKZ, Zephyr and Mercury Milan vehicles built in North America. The Problem: The defective airbags have been linked to ruptures that can send metal fragments at the passenger, due to deteriorating propellant. Injuries/Deaths: Ford claims it's not aware of any injuries due to the problem, but rupturing Takata airbags have been linked to a series of serious injuries and deaths. The Fix: Dealers will replace the passenger-side frontal airbag at no charge to the customer. If you own one: Look out for a letter from the manufacturer to arrange service at your local dealer. If you'd like to check if your vehicle is affected, click on the safety recalls link on Ford.com and enter your VIN. Related Video:
Ford's struggles in China continue as November sales drop 8 percent
Mon, Dec 11 2017Ford's sales in China fell 8 percent in November from a year ago, following a 5 percent decline in October, the U.S. automaker said on Monday. The firm's sales in the first 11 months of the year totaled 1.06 million vehicles, down 6 percent from the same period a year ago. Ford's China sales growth has lagged behind rivals in the world's top auto market this year, with the carmaker now looking to overhaul its strategy to revive growth in China under new chief executive Jim Hackett. Among other moves, the review of its China operations will likely see Ford focus on segments such as electric cars and electric commercial vans, with China encouraging to help clean up its polluted and congested city centers. Ford is looking to roll out more new-energy vehicles for China and is planning to experiment with a more direct selling approach in a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
