For sale is a 2007 Lincoln Mark LT Truck. I am asking $21,000, which is below blue book! I love this truck but I drive it to work and back (about 3 miles and have no real need for a pickup truck). It has a ton of options and a ton of extras that I have added on. It is one of the coolest Lincon trucks I have ever seen and I get a lot of compliments of how many people love it. I hate to part with it but we've decided to build a house and can use the money towards our 20% down! For more information or to come see it, please call me at 307-535-9312. I live in Torrington, Wy.

HISTORY = The truck itself has about 88K miles on it. I bought it about two years ago from a dealer in Utah. Previous to that it was owned by a gentleman in Rock Springs, WY who used it to drive from work site to work site and put nearly all the highway miles on it.

CONDITION = I have never had a single issue with the Truck, electronically, engine wise, etc. I have all the oil changes done on it, (and because it is a Lincoln, Ford requires all oil changes to come with a free detail so it gets detailed as well). The engine sounds absolutlely perfect, and I would have no issue whatsoever driving this truck across the country. It drives straight and true, does not pull at all. The interior is just as perfect, no tears in the leather, seats are in excellent condition, everything works just fine. It is very clean, I have kids but they don't ride it in except for maybe once a week to school or to home. The exterior looks very good for a truck from 2007. Other than the normal tiny scratches, etc there are 3 dings I know of. One is in the rubber lining that goes between the door and the windor on one of the doors, and the other two are on top of the cab where foul balls (baseballs) hit the top during baseball practice. But the top dings aren't noticable unless you know where and what your looking for. And the ding in the rubber can easily be replaced. There are no door dings etc. I hit a deer about a year ago (well the deer hit me...) and I had the front grill and hood replaced so they look nearly new. The only thing under the hood that was damaged was the radiator which was repalced as well. I should still have the work order for the repairs done, nothing related to the frame, etc. I am trying to explain the truck as best I can, so please understand, I am trying not to misrepresent anything. The truck is very very nice and if you get it waxed it would look absolutely beautiful!

WHAT I'VE HAD DONE = I haven't done anything under the hood. I hate messing with that stuff and the truck drives so well I hate to fix what isn't broken. But I have added a sunroof Windshield, A Chrome Bull bar on the front, A Rubber Mat that covers the bed, about a year ago I added some new Black/Chrome Rims as well as TOYO Open Country MT Tires for that tough knobby look. I also had the truck leveled. Its by far the coolest looking Lincoln Mark Truck I've seen on the road and I get so many compliments on it. All in all I'd say I've added around $3K to this truck with wheels/tires/level package/etc.

SHIPPING= Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, but I will help get it set up and ready to be picked up on whatever time schedule you need.

Lincoln and MKZ propose brand reinvention

Mon, 03 Dec 2012

Lincoln made a rather assertive statement about the future of its products at the 2012 LA Auto Show. Rather than put any new vehicle on display for the first press day, the American premium brand placed a collection of classic cars from its past on the show floor. For the second day, that assortment was replaced with more than a half-dozen examples of the all-new 2013 MKZ. Following that, Lincoln teased a new ad campaign that was in the works, and it appears we now have the first extended promotional video.
Entitled "The Lincoln Motor Company," the spot acts as more of a mission statement, rather than an ad, featuring (once again) cars from Lincoln's past, as well as certain bits of Americana usually reserved for a Levi's ad. The video concluded with Lincoln reintroducing itself to the world, accompanied by a new name: The Lincoln Motor Company.
The video is likely to be the first of many in a large advertising blitz by the automaker, in concert with the rolling-out of the new MKZ. The sedan was the only new vehicle featured in the video, and Lincoln is betting heavily on this "reinvention" to bring customers in to see its new sedan. We want to know what's next. 2017 Lincoln Continental reimagined as a coupe

Thu, Jan 21 2016

If nothing else, the production version of the Lincoln Continental has provided ample water-cooler fodder around the office. There are a few camps: the "it took guts to build it" folks giving credit where due on a handsome design with an ambitious interior, and the "MKZ misstep" group haranguing the Motor Company for blowing fancy new styling cues on a lesser beast. And yet, unifying forces exist. We can all agree that these artist renders depicting a Continental sans a pair of doors present a captivating notion. Back in 1939, the original Continental was a two-door. Over time, four doors of various types, including convertibles, infiltrated the lineup. The last time the Continental was on sale, it was a four-door front-driver based on the platform shared with the Mercury Sable and Ford Taurus. Even though the new production Continental, like that penultimate one, is based on a front-drive platform, the execution is much different. As you probably already know, it features a so-far unique 400-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 and an advanced torque-vectoring AWD system, standard. Some neat concept car touches, like the fancy door handles and patented 30-way adjustable seats, made it in. What a two-door would bring to the table is mainly stylistic, emphasizing the long parallel character line in the door with brightwork running under the window that's echoed in the lower door sculpting and chrome strip. It accentuates the car's length, and calls attention to the trim taillights and their interconnecting bar element. A longer door makes for a more elegant transition into the C-pillar. It makes the production Continental, with its blacked-out but still obviously chunky B-pillar, look fussy. We don't expect Lincoln to build a coupe – that may be too wild for a company that doesn't seem completely comfortable with the notion of reinvention – but these renders were just too good not to share. Ford's Galhotra succeeds Farley as head of Lincoln

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

Ford Motor Company is announcing a major personnel shakeup that could have a dramatic effect on the future of the Lincoln division. Kumar Galhotra (pictured above), currently vice president of engineering at Ford for all of its vehicles worldwide, is taking over as the president of the luxury brand on September 1, replacing Jim Farley. The automaker is also hiring a new head of advanced engineering.
Galhotra has a huge job ahead of him as the new boss of Lincoln worldwide, overseeing product development, marketing, sales and service. His task is to turn the luxury division into a world-class brand as quickly as possible, and he reports directly to Ford President and CEO Mark Fields.
"These changes underscore our commitment to build on the success of our One Ford plan by accelerating our pace of progress. They also make clear we are serious about Lincoln as a world-class luxury brand and that product excellence and innovation are what will deliver growth and define our entire company going forward," said Fields in the company's announcement.
