 A very clean, well kept and maintained car! Fairly rare light blue exterior and Lt blue leather interior in excellent condition w/ very little to no wear on the leather and rest of the interior. Zero rust on the body, a few door dings and 1 corner scrape. Newer tires newer brakes newer tune up and new heater core. The air ride has been replaced with springs( I still have the original air bags etc if interested in reinstalling the air ride), nice looking chrome wheels really set the car off. I am an ASE Certified Master Tech and have owned at least 15 marks in my life. This is as clean and mechanically sound as I have ever owned. Miles are currently at 67,896 driven daily. 

  In my professional opinion, I feel the Lincoln Mark VIII is as good a value car as you can buy , especially considering how little they cost. Cheap to operate and maintain and they very seldom break. This particular car with the super low miles should give many years of trouble free service .Everything works inside and out with exception of the power antenna. No vibrations at speed , brakes straight and smooth, accelerates nicely and has a nice smooth idle. Feel free to ask any questions prior to bidding. Lincoln to adopt Mini-like personalization strategy?

There's no single silver bullet that will cure all that ails the Lincoln brand, and Ford knows that just as surely as we do. Coming out with exciting new models like the well-received MKC crossover counts as several steps in the right direction, assuming of course that the production version is as appealing as the concept just shown at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, but more is needed. According to Jim Farley, executive vice president of Lincoln, one more trick may be "mass customization."
Put another way, Lincoln is considering ways to allow buyers to customize their new vehicles right off the showroom floor, similar to how things are done at Mini, and, to a lesser extent, Scion, where Farley previously served as corporate manager. Imagine, for instance, ordering a new MKC with a large Lincoln insignia embossed into the leather seatbacks, according to Automotive News.
While we're not so sure anybody is all that interested in paying extra for more Lincoln logos, it's a strategy that has proven rather fruitful at Mini. Only time will tell if Ford's erstwhile luxury division will once again be seen as something truly worth reaching for, and if customers are willing to pay a further premium for customization.

2017 Lincoln Continental garnering strong interest

According to Automotive News, Lincoln has a list of about 40,000 people who have expressed interest in the brand's upcoming Continental sedan. While that may sound paltry next to the 250,000 people or so who have so far put deposits down for a Tesla Model 3, it's great news for Ford's luxury brand. "This is the most buzz I've seen in a long, long time," says Dan Marks, chairman of the Lincoln National Dealer Council. Lincoln is riding a wave of increased interest in 2016, having topped 100,000 sales last year. Prior to that, the last time that milestone was passed was way back in 2008. As is the case with most automakers, though, much of Lincoln's sales boost can be traced back to strong demand for crossovers like the MKX and SUVs like the Navigator. That makes 2017 an interesting time for Lincoln to be relaunching the Continental sedan. We can expect to see lots of marketing leading to its launch. "Extensive prelaunch activities" are planned, Matt VanDyke, director of global Lincoln, told Automotive News. We'll have to wait a little while longer before we know whether all that pent-up interest leads to actual sales. Or, put another way, whether the 2017 Continental will be a mic drop moment or a big flop.
