1991 Bill Blass Edition Lincoln Mark VII with 59,370 miles. This car is in almost great condition for its age. The air suspension in this car is in perfect working order and the bags show no signs of dry rot. The original window sticker shows all options and upgrades this car has gotten 25 mpg on the few long trips it has taken. The majority of the miles were put on in South Jersey and it was garage kept. Sticker price on this car as you can see was just shy of $31,000!!!!!! It has good tires brakes and all the suspension checks out good. The seats being platinum cloth held up great throughout the years and show no signs of wear. There is a small dent on top of the one door that can be seen in the pictures. The only rust happens to be right where the power antenna comes through the body. Another minor issue with the car is the dic (driver information center) is inoperative it could be a simple fix but it does not work at this time. I also recently installed a brand new Mega-tron plus Interstate battery.

The '91-'92 Bill Blass and LSC/LSC SE are essentially the same car, as both use the stiffer LSC air springs. This makes the '90 Bill Blass a unique Mark VII - while retaining the distinctively ultra-soft Bill Blass ride from the 80s production run, the car features a 90s interior. It is thus, in a way, the last "true" Bill Blass Mark VII, and the collectors frequently will joke that the '91-'92 Blass is an LSC with a digital dash. To be sure, the '91-'92 Bill Blass still retains the unique to that edition exterior and interior.

Please feel free to come look at this car in person at any time I can assure you this is the cleanest Mark VII on ebay.

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic

Mon, Oct 24 2016

Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. Ford hybrid sales rebound following MPG controversy

Sun, 31 Aug 2014

Ford hybrid customers apparently have very short memories. With two EPA fuel economy reratings in the last year, sales of the C-Max, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ haven't been too terribly dented, Ward's Auto reports.
All three vehicles saw sales dips following the August 2013 rerating, although sales of the MKZ Hybrid had begun to rebound as early as November of that year. C-Max sales, meanwhile, took slightly longer, with sales on a steadily improving course as early as February of this year.
The second rerating, in June of this year, has had an even smaller effect on the Blue Oval's hybrids. The C-Max has actually been subject to a sales increase, while both the MKZ and Fusion saw minor sales drops (less than 400 units between the two in the month following the rerating).
