1976 Lincoln Mark IV
"Lipstick Edition" This 1976 Lincoln Mark IV shows 1986 miles, and it is simply one of the finest Mark series vehicles I have ever come across. The vehicles exterior still maintains a deep showroom shine, and is well complimented by bright and clear chrome trim all around. The vinyl top is in excellent condition as well as the crystal clear glass. The car has a few touch-ups from over the past 38 years, but overall the car is in showroom condition both inside and out. Mechanically the car runs and drives 100% . The car has a brand new carburetor, interstate battery, brakes, front end alignment, and all fluids changed and is 100% road ready with no stories. This Lincoln runs and drives like new, and all power options function as well as ice cold AC and the original stereo sounds great. Original power antenna functions flawlessly. The "Lipstick Edition" was part of the highly successful designer series of cars produced in 1976. It is estimated that fewer than 100 of the Lipstick Edition Mark IV were produced, and you will be extremely hard pressed to find another like this vehicle. This is rare and collectible car !!! I believe that the Mark Series Lincoln's are amongst the most undervalued collector car's on the market today, and will make as a great investment. Please take the time to look at the high definition photos below and do not hesitate to call with additional questions. Located in Tinton Falls, NJ 07753. Perspective buyers are encouraged to come see the car in person. Dean 848-459-7776 1976 Lincoln Mark IV Lipstick Edition Undercarriage Photos speak for them self. This is the cleanest undercarriage of any car from this era, I have ever seen. 1976 Lincoln Mark IV Lipstick Edition Engine bay is ready for show. Hard to imagine this is a 38 year old automobile. Engine bay photos. 1976 Lincoln Mark IV Lipstick Edition Gorgeous white leather interior with lipstick red accents. The leather shows beautifully and is still very soft. Interior still has that "new car" smell. |

Lincoln MKC crossover headed for Detroit
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Fresh off the launch of the stylish new MKZ sedan, the newly named Lincoln Motor Company is reportedly preparing for a lineup expansion. According to TheDetroitBureau.com, the first new product joining the Lincoln brand is a small crossover based on the Ford Escape said to be called the MKC. We saw this machine testing a few months ago, and while we were hoping the name might be reserved for a future two-door model or even the diminutive Concept C hatchback, it looks like the "C" will stand for compact crossover instead.
The report also says that this crossover will be making its debut next month at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, so we'll have to wait until then to see what the new model looks like. Unlike the MKX, which is based off the Ford Edge, we would expect there to be a lot more differentiation between the MKC and the Escape like Ford managed to do with the newest Fusion and MKZ.
In addition to the new MKC, the article states new MKS and Navigator designs are expected to debut by 2014.
Lincoln Aviator to return as a concept in New York
Thu, Mar 15 2018The keen Canadian eyes at Autoguide spotted on Lincoln Canada's Twitter feed that the Lincoln Aviator will be resurrected at the 2018 New York Auto Show in two weeks, albeit in concept car form. Given that today's Continental and Navigator were previewed with thinly veiled concepts, it's therefore safe to assume that we'll eventually see a production Aviator. According to Automotive News back in 2016, Aviator should be a three-row crossover based on the next-generation Explorer. So essentially, it will replace the MKT, which was last seen picking people up at your local airport and essentially nowhere else. This content is hosted by a third party. The original sold from 2002 to 2005 was also based on the Ford Explorer, and although relatively well-received by car reviewing types at the time, it never caught on with the buying public. Its failure is still a bit surprising given the similar SUV fever of that era. The resurrection of the Aviator name also coincides with the return of Continental and the introduction of Nautilus, which replaces the MKX. However, have no fear MK enthusiasts, the MKZ and MKC still live on. You can be in charge of letting people know just exactly which cars those are. 2002 Lincoln Continental concept should've made production, headed for auction instead
Fri, 26 Sep 2014It seems like the retro design aesthetic in autos might be petering out, with even a former poster child like the Ford Mustang taking a step in a more modern direction. Sometimes those updates of old-school models really worked well, though. Just take a look above at the Lincoln Continental concept from 2002 that took the extruded shape of the 1960s version and updated it for the new millennium.
Now there's a chance for this gorgeous concept to take a spot in your garage, as RM Auctions is selling it as part of a 130-plus-car, no-reserve auction of the Sam Pack Collection on November 14 and 15, in Dallas, TX. Among the lots for sale are a number of Fords, including several recent concepts from the brand. "My collecting philosophy is simple: buy what I like, but always with an emphasis on quality," Pack said in the auction announcement.
The Continental concept absolutely nails the mix of modern and retro. Its perfectly crisp lines make the shape appear hewn from a single piece of metal, and there's just the slightest ornamentation with the angled, chrome slats in the grille and chrome strips over the wheel arches. It even retains the suicide doors from its inspiration.
