'01 Lincoln LS V8 that we've owned since the end of 2010. It's a great car, and we've had zero issues with it, ever! Immaculate condition. Just turned 100k HIGHWAY miles. Garage
kept. This car was almost $39k new. This is when Ford owned Jaguar and it shows.
This car handles, drives, stops, cruises, etc amazing for a 4-door luxury sedan,
as it should. It's by far one of the best cars we've ever owned. Like I said we've had it
for probably over 3 years now with zero issues, whatsoever.
Drivetrain: 3.9L DOHC 32V V8! 252hp rated. Not a V6 like a lot of them have! Average 18-22MPG (no kidding) and this car has power! Oil has always been changed every 3k with Synthetic oil. 5-speed AUTO transmission shifts perfect. Traction control. Tires are BFG touring 16", like new probably 80% left. It runs flawless. Starts right up, no hicups or anything. No disappointments. Exterior: Exterior is amazing for the year. The paint is a 9 out of 10. Normal very small rock chips on front bumper. Couple very small chips here and there at most on all other panels. I just hand claybar/buff/waxed the paint, so I know. It's real nice original paint. New windshield maybe 2k miles ago. Interior: Clean, normal wear, overall 9 out of 10. Leather, dark woodgrain. Nice expensive exact fit weather honeycomb floor mats. Factory optioned alpine 6-cd stereo system. Power everything, power adjustable and telescoping steering wheel, heated windshield, his/her driver settings, dual climate control, on and on etc.. Probably one of the cleanest '01 LS's in town. It's bone dry underneath, too. No leaks of any kind. It needs nothing. Just serviced the brakes, tires, just did oil change 500 miles ago, full detail. Current NADA Blue book is $6275. I'm below KBB, and the car needs nothing, so no lowballers, and no tire kickers. Clean title in hand. Fly in and drive it home. I would take this car across the country right now and wouldn't worry one bit. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thank you |

Lincoln says MKZ supply crisis over
Mon, 25 Mar 2013After an excessive number of recalls on the 2013 Escape and Fusion, we can't really fault Ford for being a little extra cautious with the launch of the 2013 Lincoln MKZ. Last month, we reported that dealer supply of the car was extremely limited due to more attention being paid to quality checks of cars rolling off the assembly line, which led to a 73-percent drop in MKZ sales from last year on top of a 32-year low in monthly sales for Lincoln in January.
The reason for the delay was that the sedans were being shipped from the Hermosillo, Mexico assembly plant to be inspected even closer at Ford's Flat Rock, Michigan plant before they were able to head to dealers. Things seem to be straightening out for Lincoln and the MKZ's production now, as Automotive News is reporting that supply should be up to a "normal level" by the end of this month.
2020 Lincoln Aviator Review and Buying Guide | All-American sophistication
Fri, Apr 12 2019The new 2020 Lincoln Aviator lands into one of the hottest luxury segments – three-row family crossovers – and is not only an incredibly relevant product, but a fully competitive and appealing one too. It all starts with a uniquely characterful interior that's likely to earn the Aviator a fair share of takers by itself. Then there's the exterior styling, which is long and sleek with a tapered roofline courtesy of new rear-wheel-drive architecture developed in concert for the Aviator and also-new Ford Explorer. The two vehicles share common bones, but the skin and muscle are quite different. Emphasis on muscle, too, because the Aviator's powertrain options utterly blow away its competition (a 400-horsepower turbo V6 and the Grand Touring's 494-hp plug-in hybrid). However, despite those eye-popping performance numbers, don't expect the Aviator to be a firm-riding, sport-tuned SUV. All that power is there if you need it, but it's part of an overall competent, composed driving experience rather than one thatÂ’s tightly wound and over-caffeinated. Frankly, it's a recipe that should make a lot of sense to American luxury buyers. If you're looking for a big, luxurious family vehicle, put it on your shopping list. What's new for 2020? The Aviator is an all-new model that slots into a previously unfilled slot in the Lincoln lineup between the five-passenger Nautilus and full-size, truck-based Navigator. 2020 Lincoln Aviator Interior View 9 Photos What's the interior and in-car technology like? No other company's interiors look anything like the mid-century-inspired palace of cool you get in the Aviator. All versions are available with distinctive color schemes shown above, but the Black Label trim level stands out the most with its three available "themes" of "Chalet," "Flight" and "Destination" that get special colors and trim types. Perhaps the quality of some plastics and the fit-and-finish aren't up to Mercedes or BMW levels, but everything looks so special that it makes up whatever deficit exists. Most competitors just seem drab and generic by comparison. In terms of technology, every 2020 Aviator comes standard with a 10-inch touchscreen mounted so high on the dash and close to the driver that it actually seems larger. It runs the Lincoln-skinned version of Ford's Sync 3 interface, which is generally user friendly, though it perhaps doesn't look as cool and sophisticated as the all-digital gauge cluster (or the interfaces of rivals).
Here's our best look yet at the production Lincoln Continental
Wed, Dec 16 2015The team at Lincoln continues to strip off camouflage from the Continental in each new round of spy shots, and the latest set presents a luxury sedan that looks nearly ready for a debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January. This one doesn't even need a tow truck to get around. The production Continental takes the handsome concept's design and translates its cues to the road with tiny alterations. The rectangular, mesh grille doesn't shine with chrome on this one, but that would be an easy addition for the Detroit show. The LED headlights look nearly the same with running lights that sweep upward at the corners. The bottom of the lower fascia sees the biggest tweak the company drops the thick chrome strip in favor of a thinner lip. Lincoln doesn't put any camo on the pillars, so these shots provide a great view of the roofline in profile. Look carefully along the beltline and you can spot where the designers incorporated the high-mounted door handles from the concept. This minor styling touch greatly helps to clean up the lines along the side. The rear sees bigger changes from the concept. For example, these undisguised taillights share the same shape but now have more visible red in them. The production version also wears a fairly simple integrated exhaust rather than the more complicated design before. The Continental will reportedly be available with the Lincoln-exclusive 3.0-liter EcoBoost and front- or all-wheel drive. Unlike the MKS that it will replace, the model's production will likely occur at the Flat Rock, MI, factory. Related Video:
