2000 Lincoln Ls--v8 3.9l Engine--needs Work, But Well Worth It--very Clean on 2040-cars
Mount Holly, New Jersey, United States
This 2000 Lincoln LS has 123K miles, and it's very clean inside and out. The interior is in excellent condition, showing minimal wear and tear. The seats, dash, carpet are in great shape. The exterior has a few scuffs and scratches, but is still in very good condition. The paint cleans up very nicely. This car is a head-turner. Please view the pics closely. The car will need some work. The car runs and drives, and the transmission shifts perfectly, but the car does run very rough. The mechanic said the catalytic convertor is clogged. The engine still has good power, but not sure how long this will last. The car is currently at the shop, but the owner opted not to repair it since he seldom drives it. So I'm selling it on his behalf. Please ask questions and address your concerns before you submit your offer. Again, the car needs work, but just view the blue-book value of this car, and you will see that it's worth fixing. Thanks and Good Luck! |

Dan Neil pokes fun at the celeb cars of 2014
Sun, Dec 28 2014Look, we try really hard not to pay any attention to the Kardashians and their vapid reality TV empire. But, as troubling as that brood may be, occasionally we're impressed and/or horrified by their four-wheeled conveyances. In fact, that curiosity extends beyond talentless reality stars with rotund glutes to celebs in general. That's why we're enjoying Dan Neil's sometimes biting take on the celebrity cars of 2014. Besides paying tribute to Kim K, husband Kanye West and the adorable Lamborghini that their spawn rides about in, Neil also takes a look at LeBron James' turn as a Kia spokesman and boxer Floyd Mayweather's trio of Bugatti Veyrons. Matthew McConaughey is a focus of Neil's as well, thanks to his oft-panned advertisements for Lincoln (and the raucous parodies they inspired), before finishing on the high, with Jerry Seinfeld and his new Porsche 918 Spyder. Take a look at Neil's recap of the celebrity cars of 2014. News Source: The Wall Street Journal Celebrities Humor Bugatti Kia Lamborghini Lincoln Porsche Videos porsche 918 spyder celebrity dan neil

Why Lincoln says it's loving Ellen and Conan MKC ad spoofs [w/videos]
Mon, 13 Oct 2014You would think that commercial being ridiculed across the Internet would be an advertising executive's worst nightmare, but that's not necessarily the case. At least not when it comes to Lincoln and its latest campaign to promote the new MKC.
The campaign features Matthew McConaughey channeling his characters from True Detective and The Lincoln Lawyer, and was quickly spoofed by both Conan O'Brien and Ellen DeGeneres. But instead of shaking their heads in dismay at the comedy talk-show hosts' take on their ad, Lincoln and its advertising firm Hudson Rouge welcome the free publicity.
"We're flattered. Just to get out into the public mind with parodies says you've achieved a certain amount of notoriety," Hudson Rouge CCO Jon Pearce told Automotive News. "It's hard to put a dollar amount on earned media. We couldn't ask for better."
