Rego Park, New York, United States
|
Up for sale is this Pristine 2002 Lincoln Continental Premium. This vehicle is immaculate and
has a Pearl White exterior
with light tan leather interior. The leather seats are in perfect condition
and they are also fully powered and heated as well. This is a
very rare option to find in these cars. This Lincoln just turned 111k
miles (which is low for this year) and it runs and drives fantastically. This
is
a really nice, super clean, well maintained car and probably the
cleanest Continental on ebay. The
drive is so smooth and quiet, its like driving a new luxury
sedan.
This
vehicle was very well taken cared of and it shows. This vehicle needs
nothing but a new caring owner and a new home. The previous owner never
smoked in this car and the vehicle was always garaged kept by the
middle-aged couple. The vehicle was also just fully detailed and its
ready for its next owner to love it the same way the previous owner
did. This vehicle is also accident-free and has a clean autocheck report.
This Lincoln is
loaded up with every possible option That
could
have been ordered. It has leather heated seats, power seats, remote start, 6-Disc CD changer, upgraded optional Alpine stereo, Premium alloy
wheels, power glass moonroof, remote keyless entry, on-board computer
system, fog lamps, digital control panel, factory alarm, traction
control, powerful V8 engine, premium package, power windows,
power locks, cruise control, steering wheel controls, power mirrors, and everything you could
possibly want. This
Lincoln comes
with
the original Lincoln Key and the remote key fob as well. We also
have all the original owners manuals and bookets, all the floor
mats for the vehicle, the unused spare tire and jack, and the complete
tool kit as well. Its all here! This vehicle was
very well cared for and it shows. The
maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is reliable and
runs like a dream. The car has nice matching Falken tires all
around with plenty of tread remaining. The previous owner just
installed a brand new battery as well. We have
driven it 500 miles and
it seems to be running
and driving 100%. We changed all the motor
and transmission fluids and the vehicle has good brakes, good rotors, and
new windshield wiper blades. The
exterior of the vehicle is super clean. The body panels are all perfect
and the paintwork in perfect shape. The
paint is glossy and the vehicle looks like its only a couple of years
old. The exterior is in above average condition and near
mint. There is no real flaws to point out on the exterior at all. Its
just a great vehicle and its looks fantastic. The paint and all body
panels are straight and original. The
interior
of the vehicle is super clean. The seats are in great condition
and the
leather is supple and clean. The dash and door panels are also in perfect
condition and
clean. All the trimmings and other interior trims are in
perfect condition. The interior is in fantastic condition in my
opinion. The interior was just completly detailed
recently! There is nothing to pick on with this car. It looks 100%
better then it does in the photos. This car
is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are
more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the
buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my
local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped
to you at your cost. I know a transport company that can ship the
vehicle anywhere domestically for great discounted rates! A $500
non-refundable deposit must be made within
24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in
full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other
arrangements are discussed with me in advance. I do drive this vehicle
daily, so the mileage on the vehicle may be slightly higher at the end
of the auction. With that being said,
feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any
questions or concerns. Thanks and good luck

Lincoln hijacks Cadillac's 'Dare Greatly' tagline
Tue, Feb 24 2015Talk about comedy - not even 24 hours after Cadillac teased its CT6 while inviting us to "Dare Greatly" during the Oscars telecast, Lincoln was doing the same but on Google. An anonymous tipster informed us the day after the Oscars that typing "dare greatly" into Google returned two ads before the search results. When we checked it over the course of a few hours, the first ad was always for Cadillac and either read, "Cadillac - Dare Greatly - Only those who dare drive the world forward," or, "Cadillac - Dare Greatly - It's not the critic who counts, it's the man in the arena." (On a side note, come on, Cadillac - "the man in the arena?" Well. It's a quote. Suppose that's all right, then.) The second result was for Lincoln and read, "Dare Greatly - It's not about making a statement, it's about doing what you love," with the associated URL being www.lincoln.com/dare+greatly. The first time we clicked it, it went to the Lincoln homepage showing the 2015 MKZ Hybrid. The second time, we got a page saying that the Lincoln site wasn't available; the Lincoln site was fine, the link didn't work. There's no reference to the Google joke at the Lincoln site - this was just about getting eyeballs. The English have the perfect phrase for Lincoln's provocation: "You've got some cheek!" We think it cunning, dastardly, and funny, and there's no doubt it worked - they knew people would flock to search the term. One of our competitors, Autotrader, said that within an hour of the first of four Cadillac spots airing during the Oscars, car searches for Cadillac vehicles climbed 53 percent from pre-Academy Award coverage levels. Searches for Cadillac cars were up 120%, they said. If this is Round One of our homegrown scrappy old-timers going at it, we're all for it. Here are a few of our automotive guilty pleasures
Tue, Jun 23 2020It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. The world is full of cars, and just about as many of them are bad as are good. It's pretty easy to pick which fall into each category after giving them a thorough walkaround and, more important, driving them. But every once in a while, an automobile straddles the line somehow between good and bad — it may be hideously overpriced and therefore a marketplace failure, it may be stupid quick in a straight line but handles like a drunken noodle, or it may have an interior that looks like it was made of a mess of injection-molded Legos. Heck, maybe all three. Yet there's something special about some bad cars that actually makes them likable. The idea for this list came to me while I was browsing classified ads for cars within a few hundred miles of my house. I ran across a few oddballs and shared them with the rest of the team in our online chat room. It turns out several of us have a few automotive guilty pleasures that we're willing to admit to. We'll call a few of 'em out here. Feel free to share some of your own in the comments below. Dodge Neon SRT4 and Caliber SRT4: The Neon was a passably good and plucky little city car when it debuted for the 1995 model year. The Caliber, which replaced the aging Neon and sought to replace its friendly marketing campaign with something more sinister, was panned from the very outset for its cheap interior furnishings, but at least offered some decent utility with its hatchback shape. What the two little front-wheel-drive Dodge models have in common are their rip-roarin' SRT variants, each powered by turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. Known for their propensity to light up their front tires under hard acceleration, the duo were legitimately quick and fun to drive with a fantastic turbo whoosh that called to mind the early days of turbo technology. — Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski Chevrolet HHR SS: Chevy's HHR SS came out early in my automotive journalism career, and I have fond memories of the press launch (and having dinner with Bob Lutz) that included plenty of tire-smoking hard launches and demonstrations of the manual transmission's no-lift shift feature. The 260-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder was and still is a spunky little engine that makes the retro-inspired HHR a fun little hot rod that works quite well as a fun little daily driver.
Ford's BlueCruise gains hands-free lane changes and more in update
Fri, Sep 9 2022Ford is sending out an update to BlueCruise that will enhance its functionality with some nice features we tend to enjoy on other advanced driver assistance systems. Plus, in addition to BlueCruise getting the update, the Lincoln version named ActiveGlide will get the same update. For starters, both BlueCruise and ActiveGlide will gain hands-free lane changing. Similar to other lane-change assist systems, you’ll prompt the lane change by activating the turn signal. ItÂ’ll scan for traffic, and if all is clear, the vehicle will move into the requested lane. Ford says that itÂ’ll even suggest lane changes to the driver in the cluster as you approach slower-moving traffic. What this new feature doesnÂ’t do, though, are automatic lane changes. Systems like Super Cruise and TeslaÂ’s Autopilot will recognize slower traffic, then make a pass all on their own to move around said traffic — theyÂ’ll even move back over into your previous lane after making the pass. We wouldnÂ’t be surprised if Ford adds this functionality to the system in a future update. Another update in this release is new “In-Lane Repositioning” programming. ItÂ’s designed to recognize when there are vehicles in adjacent lanes and will then shift you further away from them within your lane of travel. Ford says itÂ’s especially helpful when passing semi-trucks, and will give you the usual and more comfortable buffer that a human driver might give a truck. The final update is a Predictive Speed Assist feature that will adjust your speed as you approach a curve. It will signal to the driver in the cluster that the car will slow for a curve, then do so gradually as you approach it. This is the sort of feature we typically like to turn off as soon as possible, since weÂ’d rather just remain at the same speed for curves on the highway. But, if youÂ’re one of those folks who like to slow down for curves on the highway, this will provide a more natural driving feel. Ford says that customers have cumulatively put over 16 million hands-free miles on cars with BlueCruise at this point. This update, simply named 1.2, for BlueCruise and ActiveGlide will see its initial rollout this fall. It will hit the Mustang Mach-E first, and Ford says other vehicles will follow.
