Im selling a 1973 Lincoln Continental... It has 78k original miles, 2 owner.. The car is in mint condition,(i promise a must see car)...Its royal blue with a light blue top, light blue interior.. I bought the car from Iowa.. i had the car out a few times, thats cause i work 17 hours a day only off on the week ends and be so tired, too tired to do anything.. the car is garage keep.. It has power windows, power seats, power antenna, everything on the car works except the cruise control. Heat and AC works, radio only am, it has the roll up lights that works properly..I be so busy and tired the car runs perfect, but did buy and have all the tune-up parts.... I have the ignition coil, new belts, new spark plugs, new wires, distributor cap and roto, new points, and a few others.. Just didnt or dont have the time to have the tune-up done..the parts will come with the car... I dont know how to save the pics to my computer but do have pics and can send them upon request, via phone, text, and or email.. this is a must see head turner, on the highways it does a 100mph like nothing, just be coasting... im Kareem and can be reached at 201-892-1750, anytime..can show at anytime as well.. Woman keying luxury car caught on tape
Thu, Nov 12 2015Toronto police are on the hunt for a disguised woman who was caught on camera Sunday keying a car. The woman sported a red bandana over her face and baseball cap as she ran up to the Lincoln MKS in a driveway, the Toronto Star reported. She then went to town with a sharp object, gleefully scratching the car's paint job. She runs off after nearly a minute of enthusiastic damage. Police believe the victim and the vandal know each other, since the Lincoln is the only car in the neighborhood she hit. This is also the third time this particular car has been damaged. They suspect this woman is responsible for the previous incidents. Toronto police told the Star that it will likely cost Lincoln owner thousands to have his car repaired. Security cameras are great for catching vandals in the act, though the videos are difficult for any car enthusiast to watch. NHTSA closes rollaway investigation into 1.56M Ford SUVs
Mon, 11 Mar 2013It's taken four years of study, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has finally closed the books on its investigation into rollaway accusations surrounding 1.56-million Ford SUV models.
The probe, which centered on the 2002-2005 Ford Explorer, 2002-2005 Mercury Mountaineer and 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator, ends without the federal agency calling for a recall. According to The Detroit News, the investigation was closed due to a "low number of complaints" - NHTSA documented 180 such complaints that resulted in 14 crashes and six minor injuries, but the number of incidents have been slowing. The suspected defect rate for the trucks' automatic transmissions was found to be 4.4 per 100,000 units, and the brake-shift interlock mechanism failure rate was judged to be even lower at 3.4 per 100k.
Oh look, it's the 2017 Lincoln Continental
Thu, Jan 7 2016Sorry about the super-low-res photo, but what you're looking at here is the 2017 Lincoln Continental ahead of its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week. The image appeared online courtesy of Ford Inside News, showing the production version of Lincoln's new 400-horsepower sedan. The front fascia certainly looks different than the gussied-up concept we first saw in New York last year, but as the Ford forum suggests, this could just be a lower-spec model. Seems weird to us that Lincoln would introduce some snazzy, full-LED headlights and then just slap projector beam units on the actual production car. But you never know. We'll know for sure when the car is revealed at Cobo Hall next week. Expect it to have all-wheel drive with the company's new 400-hp, 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 (that debuted in the MKZ in Los Angeles).
