1965 Lincoln Continental 430 V8 Automatic Transmission "Original California Car"
All original drivetrain. Original miles 76013!!

Recent water pump, timing chain, belts, high volume melling oil pump, Also replaced oil pump driveshaft with updated unit from Precision Pumps..
The vehicle also has functioning "cold" original air conditioning. I just replaced the master cylinder with a dual chamber unit.

Front and rear brakes replaced. Resurfaced front rotors, and rear drums. Replaced front wheel bearings and seals. Replaced rear wheel cylinders, and performed complete brake system flush.

Replaced motor mounts, and also rebuilt main window switch. All windows but the back door on the drivers side work properly... Including those power vent windows!!!! The back seat window on the driver side only needs a new motor.

Replaced Air Compressor clutch bearing, pinion seal rear diff, power steering pump seal kit, vacuum modulator and trans mount.

Brand new front windowshield, and seal that was 1200.00. Magnaflow exhaust which is the only thing not original on the car. I wanted a little more sound when driving I do have the original exhaust mufflers.

Nothing is wrong with the motor or Transmission that area is what I saved last to complete to clean and paint. Motor needs to be pulled to complete this project to clean and paint the motor. The car runs and drives just find 70 MPH on the high no problem smooth as driving my 93 lincoln town car down the road. I am selling due to me deploying in may so thought I see what the market looks like.

This project is 85% complete. Always garage kept paint job and interior is less than a year old. Turns heads all the time people will follow you home just to as what year it is. I have plenty of pictures if interested send me your email and I will be more than willing to send more pictures. If you have questions feel free to ask.

Cadillac Escalade gets $5,000 discount to ward off Lincoln Navigator

Wed, Nov 8 2017

General Motors apparently isn't going to let early good reception for the redesigned Lincoln Navigator steal thunder from its own luxury SUV without a fight. It's offering a $5,000 discount on the purchase or lease of the Cadillac Escalade this month to any buyer who trades in a 1999 or newer Lincoln model, Bloomberg reports. GM spokesman Jim Cain told Bloomberg the incentive is being offered to keep prices competitive for the Escalade. The 2018 Navigator starts at $72,055, compared to $73,995 for the Escalade, but the outgoing version of the Navigator is selling for an average of around $53,000, compared with more than $80,000 on average for the Escalade, he said. The Escalade was the top-selling domestic luxury SUV in October and No. 4 in the segment, according to Motor Intelligence. It far outsold the Navigator, which last saw a refresh in 2015 and a full redesign in 2007. But Ford is hoping to gain back some ground with the new Navigator and updated Expedition, which also trails the Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevy Suburban in its segment. Bloomberg notes that one Morgan Stanley analyst estimates that GM owns a $2 billion annual pretax profit edge in the lucrative luxury sport utility segment. Our recent First Drive review called the new Navigator "far superior to its primary competitor, the Cadillac Escalade."Related Video:

Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment

Thu, 20 Mar 2014

One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
Take a look below to see just what it is about the latest batch of infotainment systems that grinds CR's gears. After that, scroll down into Comments and let us know if you agree with the mag's views.

Driving the Lincoln Aviator and flogging Abarths at Laguna Seca | Autoblog Podcast #593

Fri, Aug 30 2019

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by West Coast Editor James Riswick and Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale. To begin, Greg takes a moment to remember the fastest woman on four wheels and former host of Autoblog's "The List," Jessi Combs, who died this week. Then our editors turn their attention to the cars they've been driving, including the Lincoln Aviator, Ford Ranger and Nissan Frontier, as well as Joel's recent stint in the Fiat 500 Abarth and Fiat 124 Spider Abarth, including track time at Laguna Seca. Finally, they turn their attention to a listener in Germany who is looking to replace an aging Volkswagen Eos with a newer convertible in this week's "Spend My Money" segment.
