The lincoln is in exceptional condition. The body is a straight as the day it left the factory and there is virtually no rust on the car anywhere. The car was primed in epoxy primer and painted in hot rod black. If you want to change the color, it is very easy because there is no clear coat on the car. The drive train consists of a 430 CI motor and a C-6 transmission. It runs and drives great, very quiet and very smooth. It has a new aluminized original style exhaust, rebuilt carburator, new battery and has been tuned up. You could register the car now and it would pass inspection. The interior is unbelievable, the seats and door panels have been reupholstered in a beautiful black leather that is over $6,000 of work on this alone. The carpet is new as well. The rest of the interior is in really good condition, the headliner which is also original is perfect. one sun visor needs to be stitched at one edge and it needs new dash pads which are readily available for about $70. All the power windows work, but the electric door locks do not, but all the doors can lock manually. The power seats work but one of the control toggles need replacing. The bag for the windshield washing fluid also needs replacement, and a new radio antenna is needed. This is a great looking stylish car and very hard to find in this condition. This car does not have a title.

Lincoln MKX Concept announces impending launch in China
Sun, 20 Apr 2014Lincoln has finally dropped the details on the MKX Concept after a few days of teasing. Set for a very important global debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, we're going to have to see this conceptualized version of the third-generation MKX in person before we can draw any real conclusions on the effectiveness of its design.
One of the things Lincoln will need to do to succeed is deliver something to customers that's unique to the brand's vehicles, which are exclusively rebadged models from parent company Ford. We're not sure this is going to be distinctive enough.
Unlike its last new vehicle, the Navigator, the work done on the MKX is smooth and refined. The stance of the vehicle, with its 21-inch wheels, is aggressive enough. Viewed from the profile, the overhangs appear rather short, while character lines keep it from looking slabsided. In front, we might be witnessing the cleanest interpretation yet of Lincoln's twin grilles. The headlights are slim and stylish, and we're digging the shape and style of the mirrors, which feature integrated turn signals that outline the mirror cap.
Lincoln bringing in MKZ Hybrid over rollaway risk
Mon, 30 Dec 2013Federal safety standards require that every new car needs to have the brake depressed in order to shift it out of Park. But the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has found fault in the transmission range sensor on certain examples of the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, allowing the car to be shifted out of Park without first depressing the brake. The fear is that with this condition, affected vehicles may be unintentionally pulled out of Park, resulting in a possible rollaway. That safety concern has prompted parent Ford Motor Company to issue a recall.
The issue pertains to 7,153 examples of the MKZ Hybrid built between April 26, 2012 and September 24, 2013, covering the 2013 and 2014 model years. As a result, Ford will notify owners to bring their MKZs into their local Lincoln dealer to have the Powertrain Control Module software updated in order to rectify the problem. Matthew McConaughey dusts off his Lincoln Lawyer jacket [w/videos]

Easygoing Texan Matthew McConaughey has enjoyed a career renaissance recently with critically acclaimed roles in Dallas Buyers Club and True Detective, and the actor has just signed a multi-year deal with Lincoln to become the luxury brand's spokesperson. The first ads starring McConaughey should hit televisions and the internet soon.
McConaughey's campaign has his pitching starting out with the company's pivotal new 2015 Lincoln MKC compact crossover. "Lincoln is an iconic, American brand and I like where they are heading with their transformation," he said in the announcement of the deal. The appears to be really throwing some money into these ads, too. Not only has it hired A-list talent in front of the camera, Nicolas Winding Refn, best known for Drive, is directing the spots.
Of course, this won't be McConaughey's first noteworthy ride in a Lincoln. Back in 2011, he starred in The Lincoln Lawyer, a legal thriller about at attorney would did business out of a 1980s Town Car. The MKC should certainly prove to be a much better driver than that.
