Overall the exterior has been well kept and is in good shape. All the rear windows are dark tinted. The AC was recently serviced and is strong and cold both front and back. The engine is a V-8, automatic transmission with 219K miles. This Lincoln signature limousine has always been regularly serviced, everything is properly maintained and up to date. All service records and maintenance paperwork can be provided upon request. The tires are relatively new size 225/70/R16 Achilles Desert Hawk H/Ts with lots of miles left on them. The Lincoln Signature alloy wheels are in great condition and dress the car very nicely. There is a full size spare with matching factory allow rim. Inside the rear interior, there is grey leather J-bench seating, black trim, and black flooring; all contributing to a luxurious feel inside. There is plenty of room and accommodations in the back for up to 12 passengers. Features include rear climate control, CD/stereo player with iPod, 6 speaker sound system, 2 TV's, partition with custom mirror, custom mirrored ceiling, fiber optic lighting, two bars, a champagne well and all glassware is included. The interior has been very well taken care of and is in fine condition. The Driver cabin is grey leather, has black flooring, and dark wood trim. It has all the driver controls within reach with a nice layout and plenty of storage in center console. The dark wood trim is on door panels and dash throughout. Everything is full power: doors, locks, seats, mirrors, etc. There are two sets of factory keys with keyless entry remotes and a handy driver’s door keypad for coded keyless entry. The only minor issues are the drivers power seat motor slips and drivers window occasionally sticks as do the side mirrors. Probably due for a paint job. This limo drives very smooth, cruise control works great, and it handles well. Looks clean and very sleek, plus it has many extras! Overall, well maintained, nicely kept and shows very well! |

Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes
Thu, 10 May 2012When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.
2015 Lincoln MKC aims to rejuvenate the brand... again
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Ford is slowly but surely attempting to revitalize the Lincoln brand, with the new MKZ sedan pointing the way forward for the Blue Oval's struggling luxury division. Here at the LA Auto Show, Lincoln is showing the next new product that aims to give the brand new life, the 2015 MKC crossover.
The MKC is based on the trusty Ford Escape, but this is far more than just a rebadge job. Lincoln has used completely new sheetmetal here, with the brand's familiar split-wing grille front and center, and a classy, wraparound tailgate with super slim taillamps that span the width of the hatchback. It's one of the better applications of Lincoln's new design language we've seen thus far, and the end result is a taut-looking crossover that is at the same time both modern and luxurious-looking.
Further differentiating itself from the Escape, the MKC packs an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, good for 275 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. (On the base end, Ford's 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 240 hp and 270 lb-ft is available.) The MKC also uses a new Continuously Controlled Damping adaptive suspension, and is available with both front- and all-wheel drive.
Does Lincoln Zephyr trademark mean a return to real names?
Wed, May 25 2016Lincoln's long history includes many legendary names, and despite its short life, Zephyr retains a spot in that pantheon. Perhaps its will return once again: Ford Motor Co. applied to trademark Zephyr on May 11. Trademark filings can have ambiguous meanings, and often they're legal plays to get or keep the rights to a name. But in the last year, we've seen signs Lincoln is looking to use real names on its vehicles again. Obviously, it's keeping Navigator for its flagship sport-utility vehicle with a new model due next year. Reprising Continental for the MKS replacement was also well received. That said, Lincoln still uses the MKX and MKC "names" for its crossovers. Zephyr is a dustier moniker. It was used in the 1930s and '40s on a mid-level model spearheaded by Edsel Ford. The stylishly aerodynamic model was set between the Ford V8 De Luxe and more expensive Lincolns. It returned in 2006 as the Lincoln version of the Ford Fusion before that model was renamed MKZ. Mercury also used Zephyr on its version of the Ford Fairmont in the late 1970s and early '80s. Ford last held a trademark on the Zephyr name in 2013. The filing says Ford seeks to use Zephyr for "motor vehicles and parts and accessories therefor." That could mean a new car — or just parts. Putting the Zephyr badge back on the MKZ is the most likely bet. Meanwhile, Ford also moved to get the Thunderbird trademark on May 11 for the same vehicles and parts purpose, and it filed for the Mustang trademark for shampoo and lotions on May 4. A Lincoln spokesman said, "In the normal course of our business, we file trademarks for names," but had no further information. Related Video:
