For sale is my pristine 2005 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited. I have owned this car since March of 2011. I purchased it from Wantaugh Lincoln-Mercury on Long Island, NY with 48,500 miles. Since then, she has been nothing but good to me. For a while, it was my daily driver from Manorville to the Hamptons where I worked. As I approached the 80,000 mile mark, I decided it was time to use it less so it stayed in the magnificent shape that it's currently in today! Let be honest here: You do not see many like town cars in this kind of condition...ESPECIALLY in New York!!

That being said, over the last couple of years, I've slowed down the usage. Its been garaged for the last year to preserve its current condition. I know, it's no classic car. To me, however, it is a dying breed of the last American rear wheel drive broughams. It deserves a new home where it will live on for many years to come, shining like she does today.

Everything on the car works. I MEAN, EVERYTHING! If you have any questions, you are encouraged to contact me. Bid on this car at NO RESERVE!!!!!!!

Options included (but not limited to):

- Heated seats
- Aftermarket Alpine head unit
- Factory 6 CD changer
- Power trunk (open/close)
- HID headlights
- 20 Inch Factory Lincoln Wheels with BRAND NEW MATCHING Goodyear Eagle RS-A Tires. (Ala MK-X) Factory wheels are in phenomenal condition and can be reinstalled.
- Tinted windows
- Original floor mats are being stored. I have not used them since day 1. They will come with the car at the time of sale.

Why am I selling? Well, when you have a family that's growing, you need to make decisions on what stays, and what goes. Unfortunately, this has to go to free up to ease my finances. I've owned the car free and clear since day 1 (It was a birthday gift to myself). The car is located on the east end of Long island. The buyer is responsible for shipping, unless, other arrangements are made prior to the close of the auction with me. PLEASE, BID RESPONSIBLY!

Thank you and good luck!

2017 Lincoln Continental garnering strong interest

Sun, Apr 3 2016

According to Automotive News, Lincoln has a list of about 40,000 people who have expressed interest in the brand's upcoming Continental sedan. While that may sound paltry next to the 250,000 people or so who have so far put deposits down for a Tesla Model 3, it's great news for Ford's luxury brand. "This is the most buzz I've seen in a long, long time," says Dan Marks, chairman of the Lincoln National Dealer Council. Lincoln is riding a wave of increased interest in 2016, having topped 100,000 sales last year. Prior to that, the last time that milestone was passed was way back in 2008. As is the case with most automakers, though, much of Lincoln's sales boost can be traced back to strong demand for crossovers like the MKX and SUVs like the Navigator. That makes 2017 an interesting time for Lincoln to be relaunching the Continental sedan. We can expect to see lots of marketing leading to its launch. "Extensive prelaunch activities" are planned, Matt VanDyke, director of global Lincoln, told Automotive News. We'll have to wait a little while longer before we know whether all that pent-up interest leads to actual sales. Or, put another way, whether the 2017 Continental will be a mic drop moment or a big flop.

2017 Acura NSX #001 is finally here | Autoblog Minute

Sat, May 28 2016

The first 2017 Acura NZX rolls off the line in Ohio and Lincoln may be ditching some initials for a classic nameplate. Senior Editor Greg Migliore reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] The first 2017 Acura NSX rolled off the assembly line this week in Marysville, Ohio. Marking the return of the iconic supercar. VIN #001 went to Nascar Owner Rick Handpick. He paid $1.2M at auction for the first NSX. The proceeds went to charity. The 2017 NSX uses a twin turbo V6 teamed with three electric motors to make a total of 573-hp and 476-lb.ft of torque. The supercar also runs a nine speed dual clutch transmission and AWD. The starting price is $157,800 but you can option this thing out to well over $200k. Ford Motor Company applied this month to get the rights to the trademark for the word Zephyr. Lincoln is using some real names again aside from these MKC and MKX things that don't mean a lot to the general public. The Navigator is going strong and a new one comes on next year. Plus it brought back the Continental which was a well revived move. So Zephyr should ring a bell it was used in the 1930s and 40s, it was also used a little less memorably in 2006 on a Lincoln model that was essentially a rebadged Ford Fusion. Here's the take away: we think the MKZ might be rebadge as the Lincoln Zephyr. For Autoblog I'm Greg Migliore. Autoblog Minute is a short-form video news series reporting on all things automotive. Report: Lincoln getting all of Mercury's ad dollars

Mon, 03 Jan 2011

Now that the curtain has closed on Mercury, Ford Motor Company will redirect all of its marketing dollars for the oft-overlooked brand to the Blue Oval's luxury outpost, Lincoln. In speaking to Automotive News, the chairman of the Lincoln National Dealer Council, Bob Tasca, Jr., said, "You'll see a lot stronger presence in the advertising of Lincoln in 2011."
Lincoln spokesperson Christian Bokich reminded AN that the automaker is "preparing the way for seven new or significantly refreshed vehicles" that will be launched over the next four years, and the largest ad blitz in 2011 will focus on the refreshed MKX crossover, as well as the MKZ sedan and its hybrid counterpart. Following that, Lincoln has plans to launch a completely overhauled version of its Navigator SUV, an all-new C-segment vehicle and the overhauled 2013 MKZ, which Tasca says will be "strikingly different from its Ford Fusion sibling."
