I am the third owner of this vehicle. It had spent it's entire life in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area before the second party purchased it. The second owner brought it to Indiana then I purchased the car in April of 2011 and brought it to Illinois. The car is in very clean condition and the underside looks nice. The vehicle has always been parked in the garage since the second owner (I have continued to do the same).
This is the very top of the line Cartier L edition and has all options other than the sunroof. The L is a rare option, indicating the rear seat has 6" more legroom than a standard town car. It comes with several additional options not available in other town cars- upgraded transmission and a rear seat armrest with controls for the sound system, temperature and fan, front passenger seat forward/back, as well as two power points. The rear seat is absolutely cavernous. Adults of well over 6 feet in height are completely comfortable in it. I have all the original Manuels in their factory leather case. I also have the original window sticker- this car stickered at $50,540 in 2002.
The paint is ivory parchment clearcoat tri-coat, with the interior being light parchment leather. Again, this is a very uncommon color and shines beautifully. The exterior has just a few small parking lot chips, no scratches or dents. There is one small ding in the read bumper (see photo). This vehicle has been cleaned and maintained regularly, including bar clay waxing. The wheels are unique to the Cartier and are 16" chrome. The interior is very nice, with all four seats being heated (2 front, two rear). The leather is soft and supple and all items work. There are also dual lighted vanity mirrors in the rear that fold down out of the ceiling. This vehicle has been a non-smoking vehicle since I have owned it.
The car has front and side air bags, four wheel anti-lock disc breaks, securilock factory anti-theft system, remote keyless entry with illuminated door keypad, smartlocks, all speed traction control, rear air suspension, rear a/c and heat ducts, air conditioning with automatic climate control, power windows with express down drivers, steering wheel audio and climate controls, dual exhaust with higher horsepower output, factory tinted windows, heated power mirrors with memory, rear window defrost, 6" extended wheel base, full position power adjustable front seats, three available programmable garage door opener buttons, electronic compass, auto dimming rear view mirror, alpine audio system with dsp, rear seat mood lighting, heated rear seats, rear seat 4 way headrest, rear seat vanity packs, full size spare tire, trunk mounted alpine 6 cd changer with subwoofer, analog dash clock, trip computer, valet lock for trunk, locking gas door with remote release, adjustable gas pedal with memory, interior wood trim, special Cartier floor mats. It comes with both keys and key fobs. There are two memory settings for the mirrors, seat positions, and pedal.
The car runs and drives well and looks very nice both exterior and interior. The mileage is good, especially considering the size of the car. I average 21-22 combined city and highway, with a high of 28 mpg on highway. I have put 20,000 miles on the car in just under two and a half years. I've changed the oil using Schaffers Synthetic oil every 5,00 miles. The air filter was changed every 7,500 miles and is new. Previous owner put new air suspension bags on it and used the premium limo duty bags, which should be good for another 100000 miles. The tires are new Michelins.
I Have all maintenance records since I have owned it. I have put new brakes and rotors front & rear w/ ceramic pads, sway bar link kit, R&L upper & lower ball joints, R&L, and new tires at 101,600 miles.
As mentioned, this was a warm weather Florida car for most of it's life and it shows. Overall the car is in excellent condition, with mileage only averaging about 10,000 per year. The escutcheons on the passenger door handles have chrome blemishing, which I was told was due to the direction it was typically parked in Florida. I have new handles, but have not installed them (see photo). The drivers side ones are fine. It's been a dependable, comfortable, and classy ride.
You are welcome to look at it in person. Please contact me with any questions.
A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of purchase, with the balance payable in seven days. Buyer is responsible for pickup or arranging his/her own shipping if necessary. I will store it for a maximum two week period, unless other arrangements are made prior to purchase.

2018 Lincoln Navigator vs luxury SUV rivals: How it compares on paper
Wed, Nov 8 2017The all-new 2018 Lincoln Navigator is an impressive, luxury-lined beast. However, while its Black Label interior stood out most during our first drive of the new Navigator, it also seemed pretty clear that much of this full-size SUV was superior to the competition in a number of fundamental ways. Its Raptor-sourced 3.5-liter V6 had class-leading power for one, and its third-row seat seemed as spacious and comfortable as its rivals' are cramped and barely usable. To search for your next new vehicle, try Autoblog' s Car Finder. Yet, I wanted to take a closer look at how the Navigator fully compares on paper to its competitors - especially the Cadillac Escalade with which it most directly competes. The below spreadsheet should tell the whole story, but as you can see, there's an awful lot of class-leading green highlighter in the Navigator's column. The cargo volume and third-row legroom numbers are particularly telling, with the latter actually going up to 42.3 inches when you slide the second-row fully forward. Now, a few things to note about the above spreadsheet. The GLS-Class is also available as the GLS 550, which boasts a 4.7-liter V8 that just comes up short to the Navigator with 449 horsepower but has to deal with only 5,578 pounds. Its $94,950 price tag is comparable to the Navigator Black Label. Much of the LX 570's information is also applicable to the Toyota Land Cruiser, which, badge aside, could certainly be considered a member of this segment given its feature content and still-hefty price tag. It has better ground clearance and approach/departure angles than its Lexus sibling, along with an as-indicated lower price. Much of the Escalade's information also applies to the GMC Yukon Denali, while the Infiniti QX80 is applicable to the Nissan Armada. Bring back the Bronco! Trademarks we hope are actually (someday) future car names
Tue, Mar 17 2015Trademark filings are the tea leaves of the auto industry. Read them carefully – and interpret them correctly – and you might be previewing an automaker's future product plans. Yes, they're routinely filed to maintain the rights to an iconic name. And sometimes they're only for toys and clothing. But not always. Sometimes, the truth is right in front of us. The trademark is required because a company actually wants to use the name on a new car. With that in mind, here's a list of intriguing trademark filings we want to see go from paperwork to production reality. Trademark: Bronco Company: Ford Previous Use: The Bronco was a long-running SUV that lived from 1966-1996. It's one of America's original SUVs and was responsible for the increased popularity of the segment. Still, it's best known as O.J. Simpson's would-be getaway car. We think: The Bronco was an icon. Everyone seems to want a Wrangler-fighter – Ford used to have a good one. Enough time has passed that the O.J. police chase isn't the immediate image conjured by the Bronco anymore. Even if we're doing a wish list in no particular order, the Bronco still finds its way to the top. For now (unfortunately), it's just federal paperwork. Rumors on this one can get especially heated. The official word from a Ford spokesman is: "Companies renew trademark filings to maintain ownership and control of the mark, even if it is not currently used. Ford values the iconic Bronco name and history." Trademarks: Aviator, AV8R Company: Ford Previous Use: The Aviator was one of the shortest-run Lincolns ever, lasting for the 2003-2005 model years. It never found the sales success of the Ford Explorer, with which it shared a platform. We Think: The Aviator name no longer fits with Lincoln's naming nomenclature. Too bad, it's better than any other name Lincoln currently uses, save for its former big brother, the Navigator. Perhaps we're barking up the wrong tree, though. Ford has made several customized, aviation themed-Mustangs in the past, including one called the Mustang AV8R in 2008, which had cues from the US Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighter jet. It sold for $500,000 at auction, and the glass roof – which is reminiscent of a fighter jet cockpit – helped Ford popularize the feature. Trademark: EcoBeast Company: Ford Previous Use: None by major carmakers.
