The exterior has very little blemishes and the interior is better than average. It would make a great reliable vehicle for many years to come. My mom had it for over 14 years with no issue."

This vehicle belonged to my monther. She has since upgraded to a Mercedes E350 4 Matic with all wheel drive. This is a great car and it has been maintained perfectly. It has pearl white paint and a light gray colored interior. Everything on the vehicle works. The A/C was just recharged and the compressor was replaced by a Lincoln Dealership. The only item it may need would be pin striping. The front left fender started to loose its pin stripe so my mother had the dealer re-install the pin stribe all the way around the vehicle. She paid $345 for the repair but after 2 years the pin stripe is coming off on the front fender. I can either take this off completely using a professional body shop or I could provide the matching pin strip for the new owner. I would do it myself but I have very little mechanical ability.

The tires are at about 70%. The mileage for the year is low but not super low. Below are a list of the items that have been repaired or replaced. Along with all records.

Here is a list of repaired items. We have ALL service records from a Lincoln dealer in Illinois.

- New Complete AC System in 2012

- New Radiator and Hoses in 2012

- New Airbags in 2011

- Oil Changes every 4000 miles with Mobile 1

- New Window Switches and Buttons

- New Fuel Lines and Fuel Pump in 2010

- New Brakes both Roters and Pads - Lifetime Warranty

- New Heater Blower Motor

- New Radiator in 2011 and hoses in 2012

- New tires in 2011

- Complete Professional Detail in June 2013

- Tires at 55% Michilen

- Additional Brake Lights on Rear Trun Lid - My mom is always worried about running over someone coming out of her driveway. Rather than setting up a gate etc. we decided to put extra brake lights on the rear trunk lid. They look professional and were done by a local Lincoln dealer. We figured $200 bucks for the extra lights vs. an iron gate and backup camera it was a good deal to do the lights. Shes happy and we were happy it didnt cost $10,000 like the gated access would have!!! They can easily be removed if you want. Personally its not a bad thing to have especailly for a kid.

2015 Lincoln MKC

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

Back in 2012, Lincoln claimed its comeback bid was finally underway with the new-for-2013 MKZ. But don't you believe them - the renaissance won't actually begin in earnest until the shapely compact crossover seen here reaches showrooms in big numbers. That's because while the four-door MKZ was indeed a proper step toward rebirth, the 2015 MKC is the first wholly conceived vehicle under Lincoln as a standalone brand, a move first announced back in 2012.
That's an important distinction, because Lincoln's newfound emancipation from Ford's design and development processes has given the struggling marque both the corporate wherewithal and the will to develop a more fully formed product. The four-wheeled result seen here is a surprisingly cohesive luxury CUV, one with significantly more aesthetic and dynamic separation from its Ford Escape sibling than the MKZ and its Fusion counterpart. Said another way, after flogging Lincoln's latest for hundreds of miles over canyon roads outside of Santa Barbara, we've come to understand that this is far from a re-grilled Dearborn special with luxury tinsel - it's a bona fide standalone product that readily displays the sort of clear differentiation seen in platform cousins like the Audi Q5 and the Volkswagen Tiguan. It's the real deal.

Ford abandons MyFord Touch, all hail Sync 3 infotainment [w/video]

Thu, Dec 11 2014

MyFord Touch has been among the most widely disdained automotive infotainment systems on the market, practically since its introduction in 2010. Consumer Reports was among the most vocal critics, all but advocating its lynching by an angry mob armed with torches and pitchforks. Not surprisingly, then, after such a critical walloping, Ford has finally decided to say goodbye to the unloved tech, declaring the end of MyFord Touch branding in favor of Sync 3 for its upcoming, all-new system. Ford is promising everything you would expect from Sync 3, including faster response time, better voice-command integration, easier controls and a more useable interface. The screen layout includes fewer items to make them easier to discern, and the icons are made from large, high-contrast buttons. There's also a dedicated tab for apps at the bottom of the screen in addition to those for audio, climate, phone and navigation. Another useful feature is the fact that Sync 3 can download improvements over your home Wi-Fi for easier updates. In addition to the revamped interface, the software running behind the scenes is a big change too. Rather than MyFord Touch's Microsoft-sourced system, Sync 3 uses the Blackberry-owned QNX, according to Automotive News. Such a switch was rumored earlier this year. Drivers still have to live with MyFord Touch a little longer, though. According to Automotive News, Ford said that the change to Sync 3 will happen during the 2016 model year with complete integration into the lineup by the end of the 2016 calendar year. It will come standard on Titanium trim models and as a separate option will be priced in line with the current MyFord Touch. The Sync 3 brand will carry over to Lincoln, too, but with a different look. The gallery above shows a few more looks at the interface, and we invite you to scroll down to watch a video of Sync 3 in action and to read Ford's press release about it, below. 2017 Lincoln Continental spied inside and out

Thu, Jul 9 2015

Lincoln certainly made us stand up and take notice when it unveiled the Continental concept at the New York Auto Show this past March. Showcars, however, are only worth so much if they never reach production. But as these latest spy shots indicate, Ford's luxury division is hard at work taking the new Conti from show floor to showroom. The team from Dearborn has clearly gone to great lengths to disguise this prototype, wrapping it in a new type of camouflage with trompe l'oeil bulbous-looking shapes to keep us from seeing just how close the production version will keep to (or how far it may stray from) the concept's design. Our spy photographers did, however, manage to snap some shots of the inside through the side glass, and though it's still evidently some ways off from reaching production, some key details give us an idea of what to expect. Look closely and you can make out the buttons for the transmission running down the side of the infotainment screen, just like on other new Lincolns. The chromework appears to have been toned down some from the blinged-out dashboard of the showcar, but it may be too early to say how much shine there will be to the production model. The overall design of the center console looks pretty darn close to the version we saw in New York, though. The Continental is expected to replace the MKS, as Lincoln moves away from alphabetical nomenclature back towards actual nameplates. Assembly is slated to be undertaken in Flat Rock, MI. There are a great many more details yet to be uncovered, but as far as early indications go, it looks like Lincoln is well on its way to making its concept a reality. Related Video:
