Attention: This beautiful ONE OWNER Lincoln Town Car will ONLY be for sale through this listing period ending 05/25. After then, the car will not be advertised on eBay. This is not a sales tactic. If you have interest in this car, I suggest you bid or contact us before the listing ends.

About the car:

This is a one owner car that came from an elderly couple. The car has always been garaged and the condition reflects this.

Exterior: Good condition. Paint is glossy. A few scuffs on the bumper. A small dent in the driver's door. (we were quoted $300 to PDR the dents). Tires are Michelin in good condition with lots of tread left. The chrome molding has a little oxidation under the clear protective layer on the front and rear bumpers (not a big deal, new 3M chrome rolls can be bought if desired)

Interior: The interior is in very good condition. The seats are very clean and only the drivers seats shows some wear (but not much for a car of this age. No tears) Headliner, panels, all in good condition.

Mechanical: The car HAS had the intake manifold replaced (the updated version with metal crossover), so this will not be a concern for the next owner. We were told by the owner that the car has always had synthetic oil changes.

Both rear air suspension bags have been replaced this week. See photos. Only one was leaking slightly, but we decided to replace them both so no issues for the new owner.

This is a Texas car, purchased in San Antonio at North Park Lincoln and always garaged at the owner's home in Austin. Which means NO RUST or flooding. Look at the photos we took while the car was on the rack for the air suspension work. No rust or oil leaks.

Bottom line: The two major issues that are typical of Town Cars of this age (the suspension bags and the intake manifold) have both been replaced. These items would likely be $1,000+ in repairs if taken to a repair shop/Ford dealer. Bid accordingly.

If you have any additional questions, call us anytime at 512-608-5523.

We will assist you in getting the car picked up by a shipping company if you choose to have it shipped to your location or possibly pick you up at ABIA (Austin Airport) if we are available when your flight comes in.

We are a small dealer west of Austin, TX and Texas buyers must pay TT&L. The car is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied.

Be sure to view the video walk around of the car here:

Don't miss out!
This is a good price for this low mileage, well maintained Town Car and I wouldn't be surprised if someone clicks "Buy it now" to lock in the chance to buy this car. If you have any additional questions, call us anytime at 512-608-5523.

More than 800,000 Fords recalled for faulty Takata airbags

Thu, Jan 12 2017

The Basics: Ford is recalling about 816,000 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles built in the US for faulty passenger-side Takata airbags. The affected vehicles were all built in North America, with 654,695 recalled vehicles in the US and 161,174 vehicles in Canada. A wide variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs are affected. This is a planned expansion of an earlier recall. 2005-09 and 2012 Ford Mustang 2005-06 Ford GT 2006-09 and 2012 Ford Fusion 2007-09 Ford Ranger 2007-09 Ford Edge 2006-09 and 2012 Lincoln Zephyr and Lincoln MKZ 2007-09 Lincoln MKX 2006-09 Mercury Milan The Problem: Like every other Takata recall, the problem rests with faulty airbags that can potentially expel shrapnel, injuring or killing vehicle occupants. Millions of vehicles from dozens of automakers are affected, so don't think that Ford is alone on this one. Injuries/Deaths: Ford stated in a press release that there have been no injuries or death linked to the vehicles in this recall. All in all, 11 deaths and 180 injuries across a variety of automakers have been linked to these Takata airbags. The fix: Ford will contact owners soon, and the affected vehicles will have their airbags replaced by a dealer at no additional charge. If you own one: Wait for contact from Ford, then head to the dealer to get a replacement. If you're wondering if your vehicle is affected, go to this Ford website and enter their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The recall reference number is 17S01. 2015 Lincoln Navigator puts on a brave face, offers EcoBoost V6 only

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

Lincoln has finally given its SUV a facelift after seven long years.
Seven years is a long time. For the auto industry, though, seven years is an absolute eternity. Most vehicles receive clean-sheet redesigns within the span of seven years, usually getting a facelift of some sort after year three or four. Not Lincoln.

Lincoln teases a new Continental with suicide doors

Thu, Dec 13 2018

Lincoln posted a photograph of its Continental from the 1960s on its social media channels today with a cryptic message to go along with it. Here's the post below: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The last line, "#TBT ... or is it?" sounds like Ford's luxury arm is trying to tell us something about what's to come for its current Continental. If we use Lincoln's post as an opportunity to speculate, one might presume that a Continental with suicide doors is coming our way soon. Beyond planting the idea in our heads, Lincoln doesn't appear to have anything else to say for the time being. Right now, the only car you can buy with suicide doors is a Rolls-Royce, most recently in Wraith form. If Lincoln decides to offer suicide doors again, you can bet the car is going to get some attention. The question would be if a special car like this could draw any of that attention away from Lincoln's SUVs such as the Navigator and new Aviator. We've seen reports that the Continental would not be moving on past this generation, so maybe Lincoln is trying to get as much play out of this car as possible. A more recent report calls it dead after the 2020 model year, meaning that if we do see a suicide-door Continental, it wouldn't be in this world for very long. Lincoln says to "stay tuned" at the end of its post caption, so watch out for Continental news dropping in the near future. We can all hope it's going to be good news ... View 20 Photos Related video:
