1989 Lincoln Town Car With 22inch Wheels ****clean***** on 2040-cars
Walden, New York, United States
I have a 1989 Lincoln Town Car. It is amazing clean. It has 22in wheels with new tires. Body is in Great Condition. No rust. One small spot of paint bubbled on bottom by passenger back tires. It runs great and is driven 2 or 3 times a week 100 mile round trip to my job. I recently put a new battery in it, new alternator, new plugs, new wires. I have the stock wheels with good tires as well. All lights, blinkers, wipers, etc are in working order. Engine and trans are 100%. Did oil change less then 1k miles ago. This is one of the cleanest 1989s you will see on the road. People are amazed when they see it. I am not the original owner. It is currently registered and insured to me. I believe it was reprinted at one time. A very professional job. Interior is great. Very minor wear on drivers seat all carpets and rest of seats are almost perfect.
AC is blowing warm Slight shake in when driving due to wheels ( drive 75mph with no problems ) These are the only known issues. Again you are more then welcomed to inspect car before bidding. Car is as nice as they come for 25 years old. With that being said the car is not perfect.( although close ) You are more then welcomed to have vehicle inspected before bidding. If you don't have money don't bid. If you think you are buying a new car please do not bid. Overall condition of this car I will give it an 8. Please assume the worst before bidding. Car is being sold as is. Car is registered and insured and driven daily with no problems. Car must be paid for within 3 days of the end of the auction. A deposit within 24 hours. You will not find a better classic for the money. Pictures were taken 1 week ago. The Lincoln truly looks good, shines good, drives good, and will make for a good daily driver. Donk Low rider Lowrider Big wheels Classic I also have the stock wheels with good tires. Please call/ email/ text with any questions and I will get right back to you. |

2020 Lincoln Corsair will be revealed at the New York Auto Show
Wed, Mar 27 2019It's official, the 2020 Lincoln Corsair will be revealed at the New York Auto Show this April. To go along with the announcement is a teaser video that, well, doesn't reveal much of anything except the crossover's name prominently displayed on the front fender. But we know a fair bit about the crossover from spy shots and prior announcements. The Corsair is the successor to the MKC, Lincoln's smallest crossover, which is also based on the Ford Escape. We expect that it will continue to be based on the Escape, albeit the completely redesigned one that hasn't yet been revealed. That also means powertrains will probably be shared, but the Lincoln might get one or two model-specific powertrains like with the Lincoln Aviator. Reportedly, the new Corsair will feature turbocharged 2.0-liter and 2.3-liter four-cylinder engines along with a plug-in hybrid. Spy shots have revealed that the Corsair will have styling closely related to that of the larger Aviator. That means a floating roof, more broad-shouldered nose, and large amounts of glass. The inside is also inspired by the Aviator and Navigator and features piano-key shift buttons, a low, wide dash and a healthy amount of chrome. 2020 Lincoln Corsair spied View 16 Photos
Ford's struggles in China continue as November sales drop 8 percent
Mon, Dec 11 2017Ford's sales in China fell 8 percent in November from a year ago, following a 5 percent decline in October, the U.S. automaker said on Monday. The firm's sales in the first 11 months of the year totaled 1.06 million vehicles, down 6 percent from the same period a year ago. Ford's China sales growth has lagged behind rivals in the world's top auto market this year, with the carmaker now looking to overhaul its strategy to revive growth in China under new chief executive Jim Hackett. Among other moves, the review of its China operations will likely see Ford focus on segments such as electric cars and electric commercial vans, with China encouraging to help clean up its polluted and congested city centers. Ford is looking to roll out more new-energy vehicles for China and is planning to experiment with a more direct selling approach in a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. Lincoln drops MKX base price to $38,995
Mon, Jun 22 2015Lincoln is giving the 2016 MKX a major improvement in style and tech, and is introducing the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 as an option for the luxury crossover. While all of those changes are significant, the cost might be just as enticing to get customers checking out the new generation. The base price for 2016 falls to $38,995, after an $895 destination charge on all models, compared to $39,795 for the 2015. At this time, there are three trim levels listed on Lincoln's site, but a Black Label version is supposed to come along later to add a bit more opulence. Above the base Premiere trim, the Select model starts at $42,285, and adds features like LED running lights, folding and heated mirrors, leather seats, and a power hatch. Spending $46,050 brings buyers to the Reserve trim with upgrades including a panoramic sunroof, 20-inch wheels, navigation, adaptive headlights, and heated seats. There are a huge number of individual options available, including full LED headlights and a safety suite of tech. Opting for the 2.7-liter EcoBoost pushes the price of any trim up an extra $2,000, and checking the box for all-wheel drive brings with it an added $2,495. As ever, you can spec one out yourself on the official configurator here.
