 ?????????????????????????????????????????

 Hello,

Up for sale is my Lincoln Towncar

I have owned this car for about ten years and have done a lot of up keep on it. This is not my only car, I bought this towncar because of the low mileage and it was garaged kept. I no longer have a garage space for it and the weather is beginning to show it's wear. I selling this because I have other "projects" that need to be addressed.

I will be selling this with "No Reserve".

This car runs strong, and is in really good cond.

5.0 with less than 77k original miles.

I bought this in 2005 and it had just over 63k. on it.

In 2005 I replaced all brakes, exhaust, shocks, etc...

In 2010 I bought four new tires.

This car is nowhere near perfect, it has it's flaws, but all in all this is a great car.

Again I'm not in any kind of bind and I don't have to sell it.

I feel that this is a fair price that I am asking for the car and condition.

A small deposit through paypal or in person is required after the sale and full payment in cash only before it leaves my drive.

Trades are considered.

If after you get here and the car is not what you thought it would be, I will not hold your deposit and I will not give you a neg. feed back. If the deposit is paid through paypal it will be refunded through paypal.

You may call me to set up a time to view and/or I can meet you somewhere.

If you want to test drive it first you may but I will be in the front seat with you.

Any questions please ask.

The car is also for sale locally.

85 Lincoln Towncar, 5.0 auto, pwr. windows, pwr. mirrors, pwr. seats, pwr. ant., pwr. brakes, pwr. steering, pwr. trunk un-lock, Thermometer, am/fm cast., Plush interior (No rips or tares),
Body is strait (Little rust starting on rear quarters)(Passenger front door has a spot where the clear coat is coming off) Tires have less then 5k miles on them. Newer exhaust (H-pipe), Continental package on back (Looks like spare tire).

Both Bull horns (Chrome and Real) plus Chrome Swan all go with car.

These give the Lincoln different "Looks/Personalities" at car shows.

In the past ten years it has won three trophies at different cars shows.

The car is no where near perfect but for the year and the mileage this is a great car to cruise around town in and just have fun.

I drive this as a second car every now and then. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this long distances, it is very dependable.

The price that I'm asking I believe to be a fair price, after all I would not be able to replace it for this price.

If the car does not sell, it will go back in storage until I needed it or another car show.

2017 Lincoln Continental spied inside and out

Thu, Jul 9 2015

Lincoln certainly made us stand up and take notice when it unveiled the Continental concept at the New York Auto Show this past March. Showcars, however, are only worth so much if they never reach production. But as these latest spy shots indicate, Ford's luxury division is hard at work taking the new Conti from show floor to showroom. The team from Dearborn has clearly gone to great lengths to disguise this prototype, wrapping it in a new type of camouflage with trompe l'oeil bulbous-looking shapes to keep us from seeing just how close the production version will keep to (or how far it may stray from) the concept's design. Our spy photographers did, however, manage to snap some shots of the inside through the side glass, and though it's still evidently some ways off from reaching production, some key details give us an idea of what to expect. Look closely and you can make out the buttons for the transmission running down the side of the infotainment screen, just like on other new Lincolns. The chromework appears to have been toned down some from the blinged-out dashboard of the showcar, but it may be too early to say how much shine there will be to the production model. The overall design of the center console looks pretty darn close to the version we saw in New York, though. The Continental is expected to replace the MKS, as Lincoln moves away from alphabetical nomenclature back towards actual nameplates. Assembly is slated to be undertaken in Flat Rock, MI. There are a great many more details yet to be uncovered, but as far as early indications go, it looks like Lincoln is well on its way to making its concept a reality. Related Video:

Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues

Fri, 26 Sep 2014

Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.
