Here is a 2006 Lincoln Navigator. This navigator has 174,500 miles.  We are the second owner and put over 130,000 miles on the vehicle.  It has been a very good vehicle. 

Listed below are things that we have done to the Navigator in the last 2 years:

  1. The front and rear brakes/rotors were replaced 15,000 miles ago.
  2. Alternator replaced 10,000 miles ago.
  3. Spark Plugs replaced 10,000 miles ago.
  4. 2 spark plug coils replaced.
  5. Regular Oil changes.

There are a few minor things that I know of that could use attention:

  1. The driver side running board is broken at the rear.  The passenger side works but we keep them turned off. 
  2. The rear shocks make a squeeking noise when the vehicle air bags settle. It runs fine the way they are but the rear shocks should be replaced.
  3. The rear wiper does not work. The bushing that goes through the glass is tight and needs to be taken apart and lubricated.
  4. The trim on both front seats that holds the controls is broken.  The seats work but the trim tabs are broke.

The Navigator looks great.  There are some scratches on the right rear door jamb but that is about it.

Ford's struggles in China continue as November sales drop 8 percent

Ford's sales in China fell 8 percent in November from a year ago, following a 5 percent decline in October, the U.S. automaker said on Monday. The firm's sales in the first 11 months of the year totaled 1.06 million vehicles, down 6 percent from the same period a year ago. Ford's China sales growth has lagged behind rivals in the world's top auto market this year, with the carmaker now looking to overhaul its strategy to revive growth in China under new chief executive Jim Hackett. Among other moves, the review of its China operations will likely see Ford focus on segments such as electric cars and electric commercial vans, with China encouraging to help clean up its polluted and congested city centers. Ford is looking to roll out more new-energy vehicles for China and is planning to experiment with a more direct selling approach in a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
