This MKZ was purchased by us in it's current condition with a New York State salvage repairable certificate per water damage. This vehicle was involved in a fresh water flood. The paperwork is filled out with "not actual miles" but actually has 15,089 miles . It will have to pass a salvage inspection before being able to be put on the road. Please read our description below. All of our project cars are sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied. We sell everything we list and always selling with No Reserve.

Condition - We will do our best to visually describe what this vehicle requires. There is no way to determine exactly what a vehicle needs to bring it back until one gets into the actual project of repairing it so please understand that our description very well may not and probably won't list everything that needs to be done. Now as to this vehicle:

exterior - The vehicles exterior is in excellent condition besides some scratches on the rear bumper cover. All the rims and glass are in excellent shape. The matching tires are Michelin (225/50/17) all having about 60-70% tread remaining.

drive train - This vehicle does run and drive but sometimes the security light will blink in the dash and cause the vehicle not to start(we believe the vehicle needs a body control module). When the vehicle is running, the battery light is on in the dash so the alternator may be bad. There is NO water present in the engine or transmission.

interior- The interior is in great condition but power locks and seats are inoperative and we are unable to take the key out of the ignition. Also, the seats have some spots of discoloration.

A 10% deposit of the final price is due within three days of the close of the auction. The balance due is required within 7 days from the close of the auction and must be in the form of a bank wire transfer or cashiers check.

By law, tax must be collected from New York State residents.

2016 Lincoln MKX packs plenty of power, MKC-inspired looks

Following on the heels of Ford's unveiling of its new Edge a few months back, Lincoln officially introduced the new MKX counterpart on Tuesday at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Unlike its Ford counterpart, the MKX does away with any notion of a four-cylinder, opting for the buyer's choice of a pair of V6 engines. At its base is FoMoCo's familiar 3.7-liter V6, generating a projected 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, although the real exciting powertrain news focuses on Lincoln's optional engine. Like the Edge, the top-end engine is a 2.7-liter, EcoBoost V6 that promises "more than" 330 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. We'd love to tell you about the performance impact this new engine has on the MKX, but as Lincoln probably hasn't published a 0-60 time since 1967, that simply isn't possible. Suffice it to say, we expect the most potent engine should offer pretty brisk acceleration. Aside from the power increase provided by the MKX's new engine lineup, Lincoln has thoroughly refitted the crossover's exterior, using its handsome MKC kid brother as its inspiration. It's a good look, to be honest, allowing the new CUV to maintain its styling edge over its Blue Ovaled platform mate. Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.

Ford launches pair of recalls affecting fullsize sedans and Transit Connect van

Ford has announced a pair of pretty significant recalls affecting the 2010-2013 Ford Taurus and Police Interceptor, as well as their platform-mate, the Lincoln MKS. A separate recall covers the 2014 Transit Connect. The fullsize sedans include 205,000 vehicles built at Chicago Assembly over a variety of timeframes, ranging between December 1, 2009 and November 30, 2012. The vehicles, 194,889 of which were sold in the United States, have an issue with the spring controls on the interior door handles that could cause the door to open in a side-impact crash. The Transit Connect recall, meanwhile, includes 16,100 vans built between November 6, 2013 and September 20,2014 at the company's Valencia, Spain factory. In these vehicles, the seatbelt fasteners may not have been tightened properly, which could cause them to loosen over time, a condition that's obviously bad news in the event of a crash. Ford says it is not aware of any accidents, injuries or crashes in either recall. Owners will, of course, be notified and asked to report in for inspections and if necessary, free replacements.
