2010 LINCOLN MKZ "No Reserve!!" "No Reserve!!" "No Reserve!!"
Today we have for sale the newest, cleanest and probably the most beautiful vehicle we have ever had on auction. This Lincoln is a study in BLACK! The paint is a stunning black metallic and the interior is black leather. This vehicle looks and drives and rides like a new car. My wife and I love driving it all over. When we got the car it had a salvage title branded "flood damage." I couldn't find any kind of damage at all. I think maybe someone spilled a glass of water in it and filled a claim. I really believe the claim on this car was a bogus fraud! I can't find any flood damage or any kind of other damage. The title has been resurrected and is no longer a salvage title. The only thing I did to this vehicle was to put a light detail on it today. The car shines! It really is gorgeous! Now, we are a Mom and Pop car dealer and proud of our record on Ebay. Please read our feedback. We have to collect sales tax but there aren't any hidden fees for documentation or any other BS charges. We charge what the state requires and that is it! This is a "No Reserve!!" sale and the last bidder will be the next owner regardless of price. In addition, in the case of this vehicle, if the buyer can find any flood damage at all I will reduce the winning selling price by an additional $500. Lincoln MKC prototype caught partially covered, reveals some changes
Tue, 14 May 2013When Lincoln pulled the wraps off the MKC Concept at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, we said that the very attractive concept was going to closely mirror the production vehicle. With few exceptions, a clad prototype recently caught running on public roads seems to substantiate our statement.
From what the pictures reveal, the disguised Lincoln MKC production mule and show concept seem to share the same waistline with identical sculpting over the wheels. The midsection of the two also appear to match with the same flare and styling. The lower rockers have been cleaned up a bit, mainly to be more practical in the real world (the deep chisels on the show car would have collected mud and snow).
Taking a look at the exposed front bumper, we see a very similar lower fascia complete wtih the metal skid plate on the chin. The window profile also seems to match the concept, though we're still unclear exactly how that C- and D-pillar section is going to look. Of course, and it always seems to be the case when concepts evolve into production vehicles, the MKC gains four normal door handles, standard-sized mirrors and a slightly smaller wheel/tire package. We expect the production version of the Lincoln MKC to debut later this year.

Not long after I heard that Mark LaNeve, chief operating officer of Ford agency Team Detroit, was moving to take over direct operations of the New York ad agency Hudson Rouge for Lincoln, I heard that JCPenney CEO Ron Johnson was ousted. The two events are connected.
Conan O'Brien takes McConaughey's Lincoln ad to its logical conclusion
Thu, 11 Sep 2014We all had to see this coming. Conan O'Brien has released a parody of Matthew McConaughey's new ads for the 2015 Lincoln MKC and remixed them with lines from one of his most critically acclaimed recent roles.
The now much darker commercial probably isn't how Lincoln would prefer the MKC to be marketed, but really in a few of the actual ads, McConaughey already seems moments away from breaking into a full Rustin Cohle from True Detective impression. The cadence and tone of his voice are just so close to that character, especially in the one where he's talking to the bull standing in the middle of the road. It very nearly verges on parody anyway; Conan is just turning all of this up to 11.
It's a little surprising that the writers didn't dig a little deeper into the McConaughey oeuvre for the parody. Maybe McConaughey could have taken the MKC for a party at the Moon Tower from Dazed and Confused. In any case, it's worth a quick watch, so check it out.
