I am selling my Lincoln Ls 2005. I had this car since it was a baby and I can answer any questions you have for me. All repairs and oil changes were always done at Ford or Lincoln dealerships and I know everything about this car. This car looks expensive and classy but I am sure you already know that because you are looking for one and you are reading this. Its looks was the main reason why I bought this car too. Comfy quiet ride , a lot of space and power was just a bonus for me.
I will not go into every detail what this car has because you can see everything from the pictures.  So I would rather cover my selling points instead:

1. This car has a manufactures extended warranty. I have yet to see any Lincoln LS that still has that. Most dealerships give you few months power train warranty only. Buying a used car is always scary but when it has an extensive  warranty it's a game changer.  Warranty is a great and I am yet to find something that it doesn't cover.  Warranty's name "PremiumCare" and my car has that till 02/2015 or 108800 miles whichever is greater. That includes rental car first day of service. My deductible is only $50. I was told by Ford that warranty is transferable for $50 fee (buyer will pay for this fee. ). No other Lincoln LS will offer you that.

2 I chose my Lincoln LS 3.0 V6  vs V8 for a reason. GAS !!! It takes less gas than V8 and these days i think everyone would like that. Most LS you see are V8 and it's not that many V6 around.  If you are looking for V8 and don't care about gas then my car is not for you.

Quick questions and answers to save you some time:
Q) Why am I selling it ?
A) I had this car for many years and it's time for something different.
Q) Will I ship the car ?
A) No, its local pick up only. I am also a strong believer in seeing things before buying and I would love for you to come in take a test drive and see the car for yourself.
Q) Any problems with the car ?
A) As far as I know this car will need new tires soon. That's the only downside I know.  This car is known to have problems with coils and catalytic converter but all these things were already changed by Lincoln Dealership. You won't have to worry about mechanical problems when buying this car.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask me or if you want to see the car in person. The car is located zip 60014.  Tel:773-459-9349

RWD Lincolns are coming, fate depends partly on MKZ success

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

The product portfolio at Lincoln may seem a bit sparse at the moment, but if a report is to be believed, new products are on the way. TheDetroitBureau.com spoke with sources at Lincoln and Ford, who claimed the American premium brand is working on, perhaps more than one, rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
Lincoln would likely platform-share with the next-generation Ford Mustang to develop those RWD offerings in the early going. Moving forward, the report indicates that Lincoln could take the lead on other rear-drive projects in the future. As the RWD architecture continues to take shape, "most or all" of the front-wheel-drive portfolio will also be offered with all-wheel drive as an option, ala Audi.
But wait, there's more! The report also suggests that a replacement for the full-size MKS is on the way, as well as a new Navigator and a luxury crossover based on the current Ford Escape.

Tesla leads and Infiniti bleeds in Consumer Reports' satisfaction survey

Mon, Feb 8 2021

According to Consumer Reports, Tesla owners are more likely to rave about their vehicles than any other brand. And we're not surprised — Tesla has performed very well in past customer satisfaction surveys, despite the fact that the electric cars themselves tend to have more problems than most other automobiles. Second place went to Lincoln, which interestingly had a higher cumulative score than Tesla in individual category measurements like comfort and storage space. Ram, a truck-only brand, rounded out the top three. The consumer-focused magazine bases its owner satisfaction score on responses to a very simple question: Would you buy this exact car again? The higher percentage of owners who answer "definitely yes" to that question, the higher the satisfaction score. Further breakdowns are scored for other parts of the ownership experience, which is why brands that rank poorly in Consumer Reports' own reliability charts — like Tesla and Lincoln, for example — can still earn top marks for satisfaction. The lowest-ranked brands for satisfaction are Cadillac, Nissan and Infiniti. Interestingly, Cadillac performed better than average in Driving and Comfort and middle-of-the-road in the In-Car Electronics and Cabin Storage, but like most other brands, scored poorly in Value. In fact, only Subaru, Mazda and Volkswagen scored better than average in Value. Nissan and especially Infiniti earned comparatively low marks across the board to go along with the bottom-of-the-barrel satisfaction score. Here's the full list of automakers from Consumer Reports' satisfaction survey, ranked in order from best to worst: Tesla Lincoln Ram Chrysler Subaru Hyundai Porsche Dodge Mazda Toyota Kia Mini BMW Ford Audi Honda Volvo Volkswagen Lexus Jeep GMC Chevrolet Mercedes-Benz Buick Cadillac Nissan Infiniti It's worth diving into the individual category scores in addition to the official finishing order for a full look at the results. For instance, despite the fact that automakers like Lincoln and Ford use similar infotainment systems, their In-Car Electronics scores don't quite match up. Also, some automakers have full lineups with multiple cars, trucks and SUVs while others offer just a couple of nameplates. Head on over to Consumer Reports for all the details. Lincoln hopes month-by-month leasing will woo luxury clients

Wed, Nov 29 2017

Lincoln is launching a new subscription-based service that will allow customers to lease any of its vehicles on a month-by-month basis as part of a new suite of services aimed at offering flexibility and converting buyers. The luxury brand has also been operating a pilot program in which dealers bring Lincoln vehicles to consumers' homes for them to test drive on their own time — and sometimes even complete the entire sales process at their homes. Lincoln also announced on the heels of the L.A. Auto Show a new collaboration with Clear, a company that provides expedited screening at security gates at airports and sports arenas, plus an expansion of its Lincoln Personal Driver service, formerly known as Lincoln Chauffeur, to Dallas. Kumar Galhotra, Lincoln's president, said the company is trying to create a brand experience for consumers that is warm, human and effortless, and that the new services are based on consumer research that equates time with luxury. "We take this philosophy of warm, human and effortless, and we really embed it" in the vehicles and ownership experience, he said. Lincoln plans to launch its vehicle subscription service early next year, likely in "a couple California cities," Galhotra said, that allows consumers to lease any Lincoln vehicle on a monthly basis. While Lincoln did not announce pricing, the program is based on Ford Credit's Canvas program, which offers monthly subscriptions to pre-owned Ford vehicles and come with insurance, maintenance and warranty coverage. The service is so far offered only in the Bay Area and parts of Los Angeles. The service appears to be similar to the $1,500-a-month Book by Cadillac service and Care by Volvo. Robert Parker, Lincoln's global director of marketing, sales and service, said the service will allow consumers the option of upgrading to larger-size vehicles without being locked into a traditional two-year lease. "We acknowledge the fact that we are a challenger brand. We're not at the scale of the Germans," Parker said. "We certainly aspire to continue to grow, that's not our No. 1 focus.
