You have the chance to own a low mileage 2005 v8 Lincoln LS with only 78k miles.  This car is extremely nice and very dependable.

Exterior:

The outside of the LS is in overall good condition.  The paint looks good and still has an awesome shine.  The car does have some damage on the passener's side front bumper, front door, passenger's rear quarter panel, and rear bumper.  (absolutely nothing major).  The passenger's rear door is also a different shade of red than the rest of the car.  It does open and close fine.  Other than the obvious damage  the rest of the car looks very well and doesn't have any damge (please take a close look at the pics.  Absolutely no rust anywhere.   Overall the exterior of this car is extremely nice for it's age.  It just needs a little tlc and body work to make her a 100% head turner.

Interior:

Inside of the LS is extremely nice  The only issue is that the passenger's side seat  air bag has been deployed.  The driver's and passenger's front dash air bags are still in tact and have never been deployed.  The front passenger's window needs a regulator.  It does not go up and down as it should.   CD player and everything works just fine.  This is a fine example of a true luxury car.  No rips, tears, or burns.    On a scale of 1 to 10 it's an 8 easily and maybe even a 9.  The seats, carpets, and headliner looks very good and appears to have been extremely pampered.  Afterall the car only has 78k miles.

Mechanical:

It runs and drives fine and is mechanicaly sound.  I've been driving it everyday and have not had any issues.  The engine doesn't smoke, or leak.  .  It runs  quiet and is very strong.  Transmission shifts as it should. The ac does not blow cold.  Appears to need an air compressor. The heat blows very hot.  Transmission shifts as it should. Check engine light is not on.  The only issue is that the car needs a wheel alignment.  It's out of alignment.  But not too bad to drive as it is.

This car is not brand new, so please don't expect it to be.  However overall for it's age it's in great shape.  PLease ask any questions you may have.  $200 deposit is due within 24 hours and remaining balance is due within 72 hours unless other arrangements are made before bidding.  No exceptions!  Thanks.

Ford launches pair of recalls affecting fullsize sedans and Transit Connect van

Wed, Jan 28 2015

Ford has announced a pair of pretty significant recalls affecting the 2010-2013 Ford Taurus and Police Interceptor, as well as their platform-mate, the Lincoln MKS. A separate recall covers the 2014 Transit Connect. The fullsize sedans include 205,000 vehicles built at Chicago Assembly over a variety of timeframes, ranging between December 1, 2009 and November 30, 2012. The vehicles, 194,889 of which were sold in the United States, have an issue with the spring controls on the interior door handles that could cause the door to open in a side-impact crash. The Transit Connect recall, meanwhile, includes 16,100 vans built between November 6, 2013 and September 20,2014 at the company's Valencia, Spain factory. In these vehicles, the seatbelt fasteners may not have been tightened properly, which could cause them to loosen over time, a condition that's obviously bad news in the event of a crash. Ford says it is not aware of any accidents, injuries or crashes in either recall. Owners will, of course, be notified and asked to report in for inspections and if necessary, free replacements. Scroll down for the full press release from Ford, which includes the complete breakdown of dates during which the affected sedans were built in Chicago. JAN 28, 2015 | DEARBORN, MICH. FORD ISSUES TWO SAFETY RECALLS Ford is issuing two safety recalls. No accidents or injuries are attributed to either of these conditions. Details are as follows: Ford issues safety recall for certain 2010-2013 Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS and Ford Police Interceptor sedans for interior door handle issue Ford is issuing a safety recall for approximately 205,000 2010-2013 Ford Taurus, Lincoln MKS and Ford Police Interceptor sedans due to an issue with the spring that controls the interior door handles. If the spring is unseated, the door may become unlatched in a side-impact crash, increasing the risk of injury. Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this condition. Affected vehicles include certain 2010-2013 Ford Taurus vehicles built Dec. 1, 2009 to July 31, 2010 and Feb. 1, 2011 to Nov. 30, 2012 at Chicago Assembly Plant; certain 2010-2013 Lincoln MKS vehicles built June 2, 2011 to Oct. 31, 2011 at Chicago Assembly Plant; and certain 2010-2013 Ford Police Interceptor sedans built Dec. 1, 2009 to July 31, 2010 and Feb. 1, 2011 to Nov. 30, 2012 at Chicago Assembly Plant.

2017 Lincoln Continental spied on the inside

Fri, Dec 18 2015

We just saw the lightly camouflaged exterior of the 2017 Lincoln Continental a few days ago, and a new set of spy shots now give us an even better look inside the upcoming luxury sedan. Where the outside largely brings the concept's design to the road, the production interior shows far more compromises. Rather than the expanse of blue leather and Alcantara upholstery, Lincoln's stylists tone things down with a mostly black cabin. While less overwhelming than on the showcar, there's still no shortage of chrome because strips of the shining metal outline nearly every surface. Wood accents also help add some visual interest. The general cabin layout remains close to the concept. The infotainment system gets prime position near the top of the center stack, and the buttons for the transmission sit vertically on the left side of the screen. The design then flows to an angled console that features physical controls for things like the radio and HVAC. These photos provide another view at the nearly undisguised exterior, too. The Lincoln emblem at the front is chrome on this test car, and you can now spot more shining trim underneath the grille. Also look close for a better view of the door handles along the beltline. We expect the full reveal of the production Continental at the Detroit Auto Show in January. Related Video:

Lincoln Continental with suicide doors sold out, but Lincoln will make more

Mon, Jan 21 2019

The Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition was announced just late last year, but now we have news that it's coming back for a second run of cars. All 80 initially planned have been allocated at this point. Lincoln wouldn't give an exact final price, but says it's somewhere north of $110,000. A fully-loaded Black Label car goes for a bit over $70,000, so it appears to be about a $40,000 premium for the Coach Door Edition. We're told that customers will be notified about their success at grabbing one in February, with shipments commencing over summer. Lincoln originally decided to build 80 of these because it's officially called the "80th Anniversary" car. Now that there will be a second year of production, we reached out to see if Lincoln will continue to produce the same number, or switch it up. Judging by the internet's excitement about this expensive sedan, there's a lot of interest in it. If you missed the reveal the first time around, you can read our full breakdown. To be succinct, it's a normal Black Label Continental that's been stretched by six inches and had suicide doors fitted to it. Sweet. There's also a full flow-through center console for the two rear passengers. Lincoln contracted Cabot Coach Builders to manufacture it; the two have worked together in the past. It's great to see Lincoln will be building more of these flagship-type sedans for the world. One could even make the argument that every new Continental screwed together should look like this, for history's sake. Related video:
