2005 Lincoln Ls Sport Sedan 4-door 3.9l on 2040-cars
Chesapeake, Virginia, United States
2005 Lincoln LS Sport V8 5-speed shiftable automatic 58k original miles and will vary slightly as I drive this car a few days a week Zero accidents, Clean NC Title, and I do own this car so there are no liens. Some of the perks of this car are the 280 HP, the option to shift gears yourself, the extra low miles, how clean the car is inside and out, all of the amenities listed below, and the Carfax showing zero accidents and tons of maintenance records! Since I have owned this car I have changed the oil at 4k miles or less. I wash and wax to keep the paint looking nice. I have not had any issues with the car whatsoever. The tires are Hancook's and in really great shape and should last for a good while. I only use premium gas and about ever =y 4-5 fill ups I add octane boost. I do take care of this car and have a passion for them. I am only selling this car to get something smaller. I do have experience selling cars as a private owner. This car has a huge trunk and I have fit a 50 inch tv in it with the back seats folded down. Comes with: -harder to find BLACK leather - power driver and passenger seat - memory 1 & 2 drivers seat -power windows -power locks -electric parking brake -AdvanceTrac stability control option -cruise control -heated mirrors -keyless entry -universal garage opener built into visor -fog lights -sunroof -6 CD changer -automatic headlights -dual front side airbags -ABS brakes -compass built into rearview -auto dimming rearview -wood interior trim -2 keys with remotes -original manual and CD The unfortunate: -There is a scratch on the drivers door near the handle. - There are a few chips of paint right above the right exhaust on the bumper. This could be filled in with paint but it is not that noticeable or that big. You basically have to know to look for it and bend down to see it. Look in the pics, will just be a small spot. -There is a scratch on top of the trunk lid if you look really closely. I think this will maybe buff out. I think it is so light a camera could not capture it... Feel free to ask me and questions or have a mechanic check out the car. I am in Chesapeake, VA- don't let the tag throw you off. |

Lincoln Aviator could make a comeback
Tue, Jun 9 2015The idea of Lincoln dropping its alphanumeric scheme in favor of real names was welcomed by fans of the marque and even appeared possible after the rousing reception to the Continental concept. Now, rumors suggest that the next of the luxury brand's nameplates to see a possible revival just might be the Aviator. Don't get your hopes up quite yet, though. The Truth About Cars admits that this tip comes from a second-hand source, but the person reports that Lincoln has a project codenamed Aviator as a model based on the Explorer. There's evidence to give the rumor some shaky support, though. Ford already has the trademarks for the name and AV8R. Also, an Explorer-based vehicle in 2019 is included for the brand's predictions in the recent Car Wars forecast. Autoblog reached out to company spokesperson Sam Locricchio, but he would not speculate about future products. The same source claims to The Truth About Cars that the Blue Oval might not replace the Ford Flex or Lincoln MKT when the current generations come to an end. Also, the next-gen Expedition and Navigator could use 10-speed automatics and follow the F-150 to get aluminum bodies, which is also already rumored. Although, all of this should be taken with a big grain of salt until anything more official has arrived. Lincoln spokesperson Stephane Cesareo gave The Truth About Cars no comment on the rumor, but said, "By 2020, we expect to expand the segments that we participate in by adding two new nameplates to the Lincoln brand. We have not provided any indications about the products or their names." Related Video:
McConaughey's bizarre new Continental ad is perfect parody material
Tue, Dec 20 2016So let's say you're running a car company and have a luxurious new flagship sedan and need to advertise it. What do you do? Did you answer with "film a commercial with a barely coherent Hollywood actor standing in a pond?" If so, perhaps you work for Lincoln, which brought back Matthew McConaughey to do another bizarre car ad. It starts with McConaughey and a Continental standing on a body of water. He starts talking about staring (or not staring) at the Conti, and then about sitting in the back seat (or not). The ad then cuts to McConaughey in the back who replies to the McConaughey in the front seat. Presumably, there are two McConaugheys at this point, and the front seat one just laughs in a slightly unsettling manner. He then makes a clicking noise, closes the center console and drives away. You can't make this stuff up. It's thoroughly strange, but we can't say we're entirely surprised. When Lincoln first launched some bizarre ads with McConaughey muttering sweet nothings about the MKC, the company got loads of attention. Admittedly a lot of that attention was to make fun of it, but you know the old saying that there's no such thing as bad press. Lincoln even brought him back for an encore in ads for the MKX and MKZ. In truth, we're also glad to see another bizarre Lincoln ad, mostly because we're hoping for another round of great parodies like the classic Jim Carrey spoof that aired on Saturday Night Live. Check out the ad above to see the strangeness. Related Video:
