2002 Lincoln Ls V8 Low Miles Excellent Condition Low Reserve on 2040-cars

This listing is for a very nice, clean 2002 Lincoln LS with V8 engine and very low miles, 75375 to be exact. This vehicle runs excellent. The tires are practically brand new and have under 3500 miles on them. The car has been kept in garage and hasnt been smoked in in last 7 years. I am the second owner so I do not know if original owners ever smoked in it. The leather interior is in excellent condition for a 12 year old vehicle. There is one minor scratch and a small black scuff mark in the back seat and this black mark would likely buff out. I purchased this car locally from a dealership and drove it very little as it is not a very good winter car in the Midwest. I purchased an SUV and I have driven the SUV the majority of the time, hence the reason for the low mileage and the sale. The car has never been in any front-end accidents. However, I was rear ended while I sat at a red light so the rear end has been repaired/replaced by a local premium auto body shop. This work was all covered by the other driver's insurance. This was over 2 years ago. The Lincoln has newer brakes and as mentioned, new tires. Oil changes have been done regularly. Premium fuel, 92-93 octane has always been ran through it as this car requires it. The only known issue is the clock spring is bad and needs to be replaced. This 'spring" is in the steering column and I have been quoted $380 to fix. Because of this issue, the air bag light is on and the cruise control does not work. The car has a power sunroof, Alpine 6-disc CD changer, heated seats, dual climate control, and auto light adjusting rear view mirror for light sensitivity. This Lincoln LS has a Kelly Blue Book value of approximately $6,900.
Buyer is responsible for arranging pick-up or delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle can certainly be driven and is VERY reliable. This is probably one of the smoothest rides I have ever driven as the suspension system is air-ride. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48-72 hours after auction. The remainder can be paid in cash or certified funds on day of pick up. Deposit via Paypal only. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking and HAPPY BIDDING!!! |

Quitting Mexico factory helps bring down Ford earnings $200 million in 2016
Thu, Jan 26 2017Ford released its 2016 earnings report this morning, and despite a fourth quarter net loss it proved to be the automaker's second most successful year ever, following record breaking numbers in 2015. Losses for the year come from a number of sources, including accounting changes and a $200 million hit for backing out of the small-car factory in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Despite the loss, come March 9 about 56,000 UAW-represented employees will receive a $9,000 profit-sharing check. That, like most of Ford's other 2016 metrics, is slightly down from the year before, but it's still the second best profit-sharing payment ever. Total net income was $4.6 billion, down $2.8 billion from 2015. Total revenue for 2016 was $151.8 billion, up $2.2 billion. Ford's earnings report lists a global market share of 7.6 percent, down a tenth from 2015. Ford's European and Asia-Pacific markets posted their best and second best pre-tax profits respectively. The South American, Middle East, and African markets all took hits because of unstable economies and other external factors. Ford expects to have another down year in 2017 as it invests in new and emerging markets and focuses more on its mobility projects.Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Lincoln's first shipment of cars arrives in China
Mon, 15 Sep 2014It has been two years since Lincoln first announced its plans to expand into China, and the first models destined for sale in the giant automotive market just came off the boat in Shanghai on September 10. It's going to be a few weeks before Chinese buyers actually have the chance to get behind the wheel, though.
The first two models being offered to China are the MKZ and MKC, as seen arriving in these photos, and they are going to be sold at dealers that look more like hotels than traditional showrooms. The first four are opening in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou in October, with a grand unveiling of the new brand to Chinese consumers later that month. By the end of the year, Lincoln wants to have eight dealers operating in seven cities. By 2016, the automaker wants to have a lineup of five models available in the People's Republic.
"This is the culmination of months of teamwork and collaboration both in North America and here in China," said Robert Parker, President of Lincoln China, in the company's release.
2025 Lincoln Aviator revealed with new face, more tech, no more PHEV
Mon, Feb 5 2024The 2025 Lincoln Aviator is here wearing the model’s first refresh since its launch for the 2020 model year. ThatÂ’s a long period of time to go without any significant changes, but luckily for Lincoln, the Aviator never really fell out of favor. This refresh follows the Ford ExplorerÂ’s update for 2025, its platform mate, and the scope of changes made to the Lincoln is similar. The exterior wears the new Lincoln family front fascia with a taller grille, new LED headlights that creep into the grille itself and an updated front bumper. Nothing changes out back, but Lincoln says both the LED daytime running lights and LED taillights now feature welcome and goodbye animations. Two new colors join the palette – Cenote Green (pictured first in the gallery at the top of this post) and Whisper Blue Metallic – and a couple of new wheel designs arrive for 2025, too. None of these updates drastically change the handsome Aviator, which weÂ’re fine with because this sleek Lincoln three-row SUV has always looked dashing. Only one engine option is available for the Aviator, which is the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to either the rear wheels or to all wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission, which Lincoln says is re-calibrated this year for smoother performance. Unfortunately, the Grand Reserve PHEV trim that was dropped for the 2024 model year will not be returning in 2025. Lincoln tells us that its take rate of just 14% wasnÂ’t enough to justify continuing to build it, which is a real shame, because that was one quick plug-in hybrid SUV with 494 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. The good news on the mechanical side of things is that the adaptive suspension is now standard instead of optional. The air suspension continues to be available as either an option on the Reserve trim or standard equipment on the Black Label. The biggest changes come inside the Aviator. A new dash design does away with climate control buttons, tucking them into the touchscreen. The start/stop button moves to sit next to the other “piano key” style shift buttons, and the center stack is simplified with more empty space for beautiful trim to sprawl across. The storage areas in the center console are slightly re-jiggered, with the one pocket on the left being the new wireless phone charger.
