Up for sale is a 2000 Lincoln LS. It has 151K with very powerful 3.9 V-8 engine. it drives and shifts very smooth, it gets 22-24 MPG in average. lots of power, very good handling, I was afraid driving it on the first snow, but after a first ride I loved absolutely loved it, those snow tires and traction control made this car so stable on the snow, I was impressed. it has a leather gray interior, with very comfortable seats. Driver seat has 2 memory position so you don't have to readjust your seat every time your wife drives the car . Position #1 paired with the remote control so ones you pushed the unlock button seat goes to #1 position . also has automatic window control on the remote to open all 4 windows at the same time. also you can close them all at the same time standing outside the can with your key. comes very handy in the hot summer day. its equipped with auto light, fog lights, rain sensors on the windshield for wipers auto control, it has 6 CD changer, dual front power seats, dual temperature controls for driver and passenger. it has tinted windows , drilled brake rotors, good brake pads. The outside is showing some paint chips and scratches for the age but nothing major, the car is rust free
I have a record on everything that was done to this car since I owed it . CREAR title in hand.
the Bad things: Cruise control don't work , some paint chipping off on the trunk lid, has a decent size scratch mark on the driver side above the rear wheel ( from previous owner). For the period of past two years 4 times the strange thigh happened to the car , out of the blue the car started to overheat, the first time it happened I thought it was head gasket so I turned off the engine to see if there is any of the symptoms when I started it back up the temperature gauge was at normal position . I googled the this car is very difficult to bleed the cooling system and if there is an air bubble in the system it will throw that problem. Dealer wanted too much to bleed so I never bother to bring it to him, so for the next time it happed probably in 6 month all I did is turned the engine off , waited for 30-45 seconds and started it back up and it was fine for next 6 months or so. in the winter it would happened that there is no heat I did the same thing I turned the engine off waited 30 seconds started back on and there was heat. this doesn't effect the drive ability of the car. And to the nature of the work I do, I travel all over the NEW YORK state. I drove to New York city on it with no problem now I put about 300-400 miles a week , car does beautifully ,
Car will be sold as is with no returns. What you see in the pictures and read in description is what you are buying. Car must be paid for within 7 days of auction's end and picked up within 14 days of auction's end unless other prior arrangements are made.

2023 Grand National Roadster Show Mega Photo Gallery | Hot rod heaven
Wed, Feb 8 2023POMONA, Calif. — From an outsider's perspective, it would be easy to assume that the Grand National Roadster Show has always been a Southern California institution. After all, it celebrates the diverse postwar car culture of the region — hot rods, lead sleds, lowriders, and more. However, the show had its roots in NorCal in 1950 when Al Slonaker and his hot rod club showed their custom cars at the Oakland Expo. The GNRS moved to Pomona, California, in 2004. By then it had grown exponentially and seen about a dozen more car customization trends come and go. However, the show and its centerpiece award, the America's Most Beautiful Roadster prize, celebrate what is perhaps the first of those trends: the American hot rod in its purest form. Today, in its 73rd year, the GNRS is the oldest indoor car show in America. Annually it welcomes 500-800 cars, gathered into special themes like Tri-Five Chevys or Volkswagen Bugs. At this year's show, which was last weekend, a special hall was dedicated to pickup trucks built between 1948-98, including mini-trucks, groovy camper bed conversions, and resto-mods. However, of all the vehicles presented, only nine are eligible for the America's Most Beautiful Roadster award. Winners get their names engraved on a 9-foot-tall perpetual trophy that was, according to The Ultimate Hot Rod Dictionary, the largest in the world when it debuted in 1950. Slonaker chose the word "roadster" initially because "hot rod" bore slightly negative outlaw connotations in 1950. Only American cars built before 1937 of certain body styles — roadsters, roadster pickups, phaetons, touring cars — are eligible, and they cannot have roll-down side windows. Cars in the running for the cup cannot have been shown anywhere else before their debut at the GNRS. Contestants for this accolade essentially build their cars to the a platonic ideal of a hot rod. This year the honors went to Jack Chisenhall of San Antonio, Texas, for his "Champ Deuce," a 1932 Ford Roadster. It's exactly what you picture when you think of a hot rod, but distilled to its absolute essence. Other standouts included "Green Eyes," a two-tone green 1959 Chevy El Camino with a heavily metal-flaked bed, "Blue Monday," a 1964 Buick Riviera lowrider, and a personal favorite, "Purple Reign," a purple and black 1951 Mercury. Cars may have started out as tools, but there aren't shows like this filled with custom refrigerators.
Lincoln MKC prototype caught partially covered, reveals some changes
Tue, 14 May 2013When Lincoln pulled the wraps off the MKC Concept at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, we said that the very attractive concept was going to closely mirror the production vehicle. With few exceptions, a clad prototype recently caught running on public roads seems to substantiate our statement.
From what the pictures reveal, the disguised Lincoln MKC production mule and show concept seem to share the same waistline with identical sculpting over the wheels. The midsection of the two also appear to match with the same flare and styling. The lower rockers have been cleaned up a bit, mainly to be more practical in the real world (the deep chisels on the show car would have collected mud and snow).
Taking a look at the exposed front bumper, we see a very similar lower fascia complete wtih the metal skid plate on the chin. The window profile also seems to match the concept, though we're still unclear exactly how that C- and D-pillar section is going to look. Of course, and it always seems to be the case when concepts evolve into production vehicles, the MKC gains four normal door handles, standard-sized mirrors and a slightly smaller wheel/tire package. We expect the production version of the Lincoln MKC to debut later this year.
