Beautiful All Original 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark Iv on 2040-cars
Carlsbad, California, United States
This car is all original, not restored but meticulously maintained over the years. One owner literally an old lady who passed away. Was kept in garage it's entire life. Everything works from the big 460 engine to all motors for antenna, power seats, windows etc etc. The Original 8 track radio even works as well as the AC. All chrome in excellent condition, no rust or pitting a 9 or a 10 on the chrome condition. White leather interior is in good shape with normal wear for a 1973 vehicle though the drivers seat is dry and cracked up. Engine is super clean and strong, radiator excellent, transmission excellent, carburetor excellent, everything engine wise is excellent. It has 25643k original miles but look like the owner had it painted in 1994 but stayed with the original color which is a white w blue tint. White leather interior, blue carpet and dash, Crack in steering wheel which is not the original but a replacement from 1974 I believe. Black vinyl top really good condition but little age not torn or damaged just slightly faded. Excellent Lincoln for an enthusiast to bring to showroom condition due to having all it's parts minus the hood ornament, replacement steering wheel from 1974 believe. The car was well maintained over the years and all hard to find parts tracked down when needed so this car has all the original bells and whistles and the kicker is the low low 25643 original miles. It has never been restored so it's truly just one of those cars in spectacular all original shape which is in excellent working order in all areas. So for those of you who know your Lincoln's and want a gem here she is. I knew the old woman for sometime and obtained the car when she passed It has been in my garage not driven but cared for now for about a month and a half. Title Clean and in my hand, registered, ready to go.. No problems.

Editors' Picks, May 2023: Some Subarus and a pair of luxury SUVs
Thu, Jun 1 2023The month of May saw a number of new vehicles jump into the pool of Editors' Picks. Subaru grabbed a pair with its brand-new generation of Crosstrek for 2024, and the Legacy earns one in the ever-shrinking midsize sedan segment. In the luxury space, we have one entry from Britain and one from here at home. The new Range Rover already got an Editors' Pick, but now the Range Rover Sport joins the ranks. The Corsair earned Editors' Pick status before its update, too, but now the refreshed version rejoins the ranks. In case you missed our previous Editors' Picks posts, here’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary in their respective segments get an EditorsÂ’ Pick designation. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in May that earned an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2023 Subaru Legacy 2023 Subaru Legacy View 15 Photos Quick take: The Legacy brings all-wheel drive with sedan dynamics to a shrinking segment, and it does so with a competitive price, respectable tech and tons of utility. Score: 7.5 What it competes with: Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata, Kia K5 Pros: All-wheel drive in every trim, spunky turbo engine, tons of space in the rear and trunk Cons: CVT makes for a dull drive, infotainment is clunky, styling is on the bland side From the editors: Associate Editor Byron Hurd — "Not everybody has abandoned sedans. Not only is Subaru keeping some of its eggs in this four-door basket, but it's dyeing them in some festive shades. The new turbocharged and tightened Sport model makes a great case for itself as a grown-up WRX without all the GT-themed nonsense. Shame about the CVT." In-depth analysis: 2023 Subaru Legacy gets Sport trim, more tech, fresh design  2023 Range Rover Sport Quick take: It may not be outwardly sporty, but the Range Rover Sport has a killer design, gorgeous interior, buttery-smooth driving characteristics and a clean tech interface.
2002 Lincoln Continental concept should've made production, headed for auction instead
Fri, 26 Sep 2014It seems like the retro design aesthetic in autos might be petering out, with even a former poster child like the Ford Mustang taking a step in a more modern direction. Sometimes those updates of old-school models really worked well, though. Just take a look above at the Lincoln Continental concept from 2002 that took the extruded shape of the 1960s version and updated it for the new millennium.
Now there's a chance for this gorgeous concept to take a spot in your garage, as RM Auctions is selling it as part of a 130-plus-car, no-reserve auction of the Sam Pack Collection on November 14 and 15, in Dallas, TX. Among the lots for sale are a number of Fords, including several recent concepts from the brand. "My collecting philosophy is simple: buy what I like, but always with an emphasis on quality," Pack said in the auction announcement.
The Continental concept absolutely nails the mix of modern and retro. Its perfectly crisp lines make the shape appear hewn from a single piece of metal, and there's just the slightest ornamentation with the angled, chrome slats in the grille and chrome strips over the wheel arches. It even retains the suicide doors from its inspiration.
Oh look, it's the 2017 Lincoln Continental
Thu, Jan 7 2016Sorry about the super-low-res photo, but what you're looking at here is the 2017 Lincoln Continental ahead of its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week. The image appeared online courtesy of Ford Inside News, showing the production version of Lincoln's new 400-horsepower sedan. The front fascia certainly looks different than the gussied-up concept we first saw in New York last year, but as the Ford forum suggests, this could just be a lower-spec model. Seems weird to us that Lincoln would introduce some snazzy, full-LED headlights and then just slap projector beam units on the actual production car. But you never know. We'll know for sure when the car is revealed at Cobo Hall next week. Expect it to have all-wheel drive with the company's new 400-hp, 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 (that debuted in the MKZ in Los Angeles). Let us know what you think of the production-spec Conti, in Comments. Related Video:
