Selling 1997 Lincoln Continental, great running car, no leaks, no engine troubles, has a Jasper engine. I call her "Old Faithful", because she always gets me where I need to go.

Within the last year the radiator and heater core were fixed. 177318 miles.

Clean FL title in hand, ready to sell.

This is an older car, so there are things that could use fixing, but it's all cosmetic. This car runs great with no issues, I use it every day (so expect the mileage to go up from the picture), this is not one of those cars where you get there and the car won't start or where you turn it over and the engine's rocking the car, or where it has some silly defect like using a screwdriver to turn it on. It's a good running car.

Things it could use: a new cover for the right blinker, work on the a/c, air springs/shocks. I don't want any "surprises", I want to be honest and save both of our time.  Just think, there are plenty of cheaper cars out there... They just won't run.

I'm not a car dealer, what you see is what you get; no taking over a payment or hooking you with the price for a down payment

Things that could be fixed on Car:

Rear Shocks

Air Condition

Parking Light Cover

Driver Side Window may need Window regulator.  Motor works, I believe the  window is just off track.

Of Course there could be upgrades to the exterior and exterior, but this car is dependable and can get you to where you need to go!!!

*You are getting a great deal because most cars that sell for this price, don't have an engine, or are only for parts.  This car is ready to ride.

Lincoln MKC crossover adopts the Continental's grille

Thu, Jun 15 2017

The last vestiges of the controversial split Lincoln grille are slowly being removed as the company revamps its lineup. It started with the MKZ and Continental, with the most recent rhinoplasty recipient being the Navigator. Now, based on spy shots, it looks like the MKC crossover will be the fourth to get the new corporate grille. Under the heavy vinyl coverings, we can clearly see the proud Continental-inspired grille. We can also see that it will feature the same chrome mesh with Lincoln badge-shaped openings found on other cars with the grille design. We can also assume that the headlights will receive a substantial refresh, but the lower bumper doesn't look particularly different. The rest of this prototype MKC looks the same as the existing model. The back is covered, which indicates that the taillights may be updated. We wouldn't expect a radically different look, since the MKC already has a full-width taillight treatment. We also noticed that the wheels appear to be inspired by the cool turbine wheels of the Navigator. Whatever the other changes are, we'll probably see them soon. This is clearly just a refresh, and so there's a good chance we'll see the production model revealed by the end of the year, or early next year at the latest. Related Video:

Lincoln scales back free maintenance

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Complimentary scheduled maintenance programs have been great tools for luxury automakers to draw in new customers, but some are starting to scale their programs back considerably. According to Automotive News, Lincoln is joining Jaguar and Volvo on the list of automakers reducing the length of time it will be providing free maintenance to its customers.
Lincoln's four-year/50,000-mile maintenance program first kicked off as an incentive in 2010 and became permanent later that year, but starting with the 2014 model year, this will be cut to just two years and 24,000 miles. This could make short-term leases even more appealing for some consumers, but according to Automotive News, some Lincoln dealers are unhappy with the scaling back. The move admittedly comes at an odd time for Lincoln, with parent Ford seemingly working hard to increase consideration among luxury buyers as it looks to reverse the marque's long decline.

Ford's struggles in China continue as November sales drop 8 percent

Mon, Dec 11 2017

Ford's sales in China fell 8 percent in November from a year ago, following a 5 percent decline in October, the U.S. automaker said on Monday. The firm's sales in the first 11 months of the year totaled 1.06 million vehicles, down 6 percent from the same period a year ago. Ford's China sales growth has lagged behind rivals in the world's top auto market this year, with the carmaker now looking to overhaul its strategy to revive growth in China under new chief executive Jim Hackett. Among other moves, the review of its China operations will likely see Ford focus on segments such as electric cars and electric commercial vans, with China encouraging to help clean up its polluted and congested city centers. Ford is looking to roll out more new-energy vehicles for China and is planning to experiment with a more direct selling approach in a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.
