Barn find! This is a good solid complete car to restore. I purchased this car with the intent to restore but unfortunately must sell. Overall this is a very solid car with only a couple of small areas of rust with a little in the trunk and a little on the passenger side dogleg both of which are easy repairs. Engine runs with a gas can hooked up. Has been inside storage for last 20 years until about a month ago. Appears to be all there except the rear top control switch by the gas door. I currently have it at Lincoln Ranch in Central Florida where I was going to get them to do some of the restoration work. You are welcome to call them and ask Tim Nill, the owner, about the cars condition or set up an appointment to see it. They specialize in Lincoln parts and restoration. I also have the Marti Report that goes with it. The Marti Report is available for the 1967 Lincolns only. It tells you exactly how the car was equipped with options, interior and exterior colors and statistics regarding how many were made with certain paint colors and interior trim colors. For example this is one of only 70 built with these paint and trim codes making it rather rare. Options include:
The 1967 has become one of the most desired years of these awesome 4 door convertibles and the Haggerty Insurance Valuation guide shows it and the similar 1966 model to be of higher value than the other years. I think partially due to it's improvements such as the glass rear window, more options and overall a better driver.These rare classics are getting harder to find in good restorable condition and this is one that is well worth restoring.

Ford recalls 1.3 million Fusions, MKZs: Steering wheels could come off
Wed, Mar 14 2018When driving a car, the steering wheel is only expected to move in a rotational fashion, either clockwise or counter-clockwise. When it moves in some other direction, something is wrong, and when it moves the wrong way enough that it is no longer attached to the steering column, that's a really, really bad thing. And apparently, according to a recall issued by Ford, there are over 1.3 million Ford Fusions and Lincoln MKZs that are at risk of this happening. And at least two accidents and one injury have been attributed to the issue. Ford says the problem is that the steering wheel bolt that keeps the wheel attached to the column might not provide enough torque, resulting in the bolt slowly loosening and working its way off the column. The good news is that the fix is really simple. Ford will install a larger bolt with more threads along with a larger nylon patch to keep it all locked down. The fix is completely free to owners. Cars affected by the recall include 2014 to 2017 Fusions built built at the Flat Rock plant in Michigan between August 6, 2013, and February 29, 2016. Model year 2014-2018 Fusions and MKZs built at the Hermosillo factory in Mexico are also affected. Five vehicles named Top Safety Pick+ including new Civic, MKZ
Fri, 08 Mar 2013In an attempt to help push vehicle safety to a higher level, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety created a stricter Top Safety Pick+ rating last year, which incorporates a brutal small overlap test and requires cars to get Good ratings in four out of the five categories (and no less than Acceptable in the fifth). Joining the list of the safest cars of 2013, the 2013 Volvo XC60, Lincoln MKZ, Honda Civic (sedan and coupe) and the 2014 Mazda6 have all received the coveted TSP+ rating.
The Mazda6 and Lincoln MKZ have both been completely redesigned, and both received Acceptable ratings in the small overlap test. The Honda Civic, coming off its emergency refresh for 2013, is the first small car to be subjected to the small overlap test, and IIHS says that one of the car's many upgrades includes a stiffer front structure allowing it to receive Good ratings in all categories. Similarly, the XC60 gets all Good ratings thanks to, according to IIHS, Volvo updating the airbag software allowing the side airbags to inflate during the small overlap test.
The 2014 Subaru Forester has not yet been subjected to the small overlap test, so it must make do with just a Top Safety Pick rating until the IIHS tests small utility vehicles, which is expected to happen later in the spring.
