Hello!
Up for sale is my aunt and uncle's 2004 Lexus RX330 all wheel drive SUV. The exterior color is light blue metallic and the interior is black. The reason they are selling the Lexus is because they both retired and moved to Europe. The title has been transferred to my name so I can sell the Lexus for them. They are the original owners of the Lexus. The Lexus currently has approx. 52,331 miles on it. I have a clean NYS title in hand. The New York State inspection is good until 02/2014. The Lexus has always been dealer maintained and garaged kept. They babied the Lexus and used it mainly on the weekends as you can tell from the very low mileage. The Lexus was just detailed from engine bay, interior and exterior!
All standard maintenance work was primarily performed at Ray Catena Lexus located in Larchmont,NY. The car was adult driven and never smoked in. The black leather interior is in immaculate condition. It has a automatic transmission that shifts nice and smooth. The 6 cylinder engine still pulls strong! The car is fully loaded with power everything! I have listed some of the standard equipment and special options below:
>FACTORY NAVIGATION
>FACTORY DVD/VIDEO SYSTEM WITH REMOTE CONTROL
>BACK UP REAR VIEW CAMERA
>REAR POWER LIFT GATE
>POWER MOONROOF/SUNROOF
>FACTORY TINTED REAR WINDOWS
>DUAL POWER/HEATED LEATHER SEATS (MEMORY FEATURE ON DRIVERS SEAT)
>TILT/TELESCOPIC ADJUSTABLE STEERING WHEEL WITH MULTIPLE CONTROLS
>ALL WEATHER MATS
>PREMIUM STEREO WITH 6 CD PLAYER
>XENON HEADLIGHTS WITH HEADLIGHT WASHERS & FACTORY FOG LIGHTS
>ABS BRAKES / ALL WHEEL DRIVE
>POWER MIRRORS/POWER WINDOWS/POWER DOOR LOCKS
>REAR CARGO COVER & NET
>FACTORY ALARM SYSTEM
>GOODYEAR "RUN-FLAT" TIRES - (Tire size 245/50/18)
>FACTORY WHEEL LOCKS
>LEXUS FIRST AID KIT
I have all the books and manuals for the Lexus. The Goodyear "RUN-FLAT" tires have approx. 5000 miles on them with about 90% tread remaining. The Goodyear's are a bit larger than what is normally installed on these SUV's. The tire size is 245/50/18. Paint and body are in great shape and the paint still shines like brand new. The car has NO accidents! My aunt and uncle are looking to get $17,900 or best offer. Please contact me at 516 398 1204 with any further questions. Thanks for looking!

Toyota settles first wrongful death suit related to unintended acceleration
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Toyota's sales seem to have rebounded from the unintended acceleration issues from 2009 and 2010, but the automaker is far from done dealing with this situation. Following a settlement worth up to $1.4 billion for economic loss to affected vehicle owners, Toyota has settled rather than going to trial in a wrongful death lawsuit stemming from an accident in Utah in 2010 that left two passengers dead. This isn't the first case in which Toyota has settled, but it was the first among a consolidated group of cases being held in Santa Ana, CA.
According to The Detroit News, this case was scheduled to take place next month, and it was for a November 2010 incident in which Paul Van Alfen and Charlene James Lloyd were killed in a Camry when, based on findings by the Utah Highway Patrol, the accelerator got stuck causing the car to speed out of control and hit a wall; the terms of the settlement were not announced.
The article says that while Toyota will settle on some cases, it doesn't plan on settling on all of them as it still wants to be able to "defend [its] product at trial." This will probably be the case in suits claiming that software for the drive-by-wire accelerator was the cause of an accident in a Toyota or Lexus vehicle. The question of whether or not the electronic accelerator played any role in this problem has been a hot-button topic since the beginning. Toyota has issued recalls in the past to attempt to prevent unintended acceleration caused by trapped floor mats and faulty accelerator pedals, but it also says driver error was to blame in some instances.
What effect did Super Bowl ads have on online car searches?
Wed, Feb 4 2015Lexus's Super Bowl ad Let's Play starring an RC version of the RC 350 sliding around wasn't really a big hit among Autoblog readers, with a pretty miserable 13 down-votes as of this writing, compared to the winning Nissan spot with 52 up-votes. The Japanese luxury brand doesn't need to feel blue about the results, though, because in at least one metric the commercial ranks as the most popular of the night. According to Adweek analyzing figures from Kelley Blue Book, the Lexus coupe saw an astounding 1,820-percent increase in searches on the auto pricing site, more than any other vehicle advertised during the game. Viewers were apparently intrigued by the BMW i3 because the EV came in second place with a 1,131-percent jump. Third place went to the Mercedes-AMG GT with a 950-percent boost from its whimsical ad. The lowest growth for the night was from Toyota with a 20-percent upswing for the Camry. In terms of brand searches, the Kia James Bond-inspired spot brought a 68-percent increase in searches to KBB's website, according to Adweek. Dodge scored a close second with a 62-percent bump, and Fiat's humorous ad apparently resonated enough for third place and a 52-percent jump in searches. Despite the RC 350's popularity, Lexus actually ended up at the bottom of the list with just 6 percent more visitors looking for the company. To explain the weird discrepancy, a Kelley Blue Book analyst explained to Adweek that visitors came to the site specifically looking for the RC 350 and to a lesser extent the NX, which saw a 48-percent jump in queries, but that interest didn't extend to the whole brand. Lexus to open stores with branded accessories [w/video]
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Trying to build a boutique buying atmosphere with a large-volume premium brand isn't easy, but Lexus is attempting to do just that by introducing its new Intersect By Lexus dealership experience. This aspect of Lexus retailing has nothing to do with cars and everything to do with luxury lifestyle accessories. Intersect By Lexus is effectively an all-in-one shopping destination for high-quality, hand-crafted designer products, many of them created specifically for the marque, right down to their "Crafted for Lexus" branding.
The first Intersect By Lexus store will open at the end of this month in Tokyo, with other stores planned for New York and Dubai. Going over the first store's initial product list, it seems that each store will offer wares that reflect its location. Some of the products available at Intersect By Lexus Tokyo include a $400 minimalist LED desk light, hand-sewn $286 tablet cover and a $133 drip coffeemaker and cup set handmade from the ash of Japan's Sakurajima volcano. Scroll down for a short video showing how some of these products were made.
