Up for sale is a 2004 Lexus ES 330 with 99,500 miles. Clear Title in hand. I am selling this car on behalf of a friend who recently purchased another vehicle and needs to sell this car. I have driven the car around 50 miles, and will do my best to provide everything I know about the vehicle.

The vehicle is also listed for sale locally, and online listing may end at anytime. Bidders with no prior feedback on eBay must contact me before submitting an offer, otherwise your offer will be rejected. I do not have the highest number of completed transactions on eBay, but no one has a higher percentage of positive feedback. I take this seriously, and want to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. I do not have the luxury of losing time to bidders who are not as serious about purchasing this vehicle as I am about selling it, so please contact me with any unanswered questions prior to bidding.

I've purchased several vehicles through eBay Motors, and realize how important an accurate description is when buying/selling a vehicle online. Although most vehicle purchase transactions have exceeded my expectations, there are unfortunately some sellers that will over promise, and under deliver.

My objective is the opposite: to provide you with factual, non-biased information, and assist you throughout the purchasing process to ensure your new vehicle is equal to, or even better than your expectations. My description of this Lexus may be lengthy, but I want to give you as much information as possible. This vehicle is being sold as-is, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Inspections are encouraged, test drives are welcome, and I am available via e-mail or phone to answer any questions you may have. If local inspection or test drive isn't an option for you, I can provide a video of component of the vehicle you're interested in upon request.

Mechanically, the vehicle is in good condition. Oil was just changed, and oil filter replaced. Cranks right up. Idles smooth. Engine is quiet. Car accelerates swiftly with a smooth shifting transmission. Brakes quickly without any shaking or noise. Steering lock to lock is smooth. The car will need new tires soon. Around 20% tread life remaining (see photo) The current owner will install new Michelin tires, and include free shipping to any of the 48 continental states if buy it now option is exercised. All lights, buttons, and knobs function as they should. AC blows ice cold, and the heat is blazing hot.

Overall, the interior of this vehicle is in good to excellent condition. There is no warping or cracks in the dashboard. The leather seats show little to no wear, with no rips, cracks, or tears. The rear seats look as if they've never been sat in. The Lexus Premium sound system has impressive quality. No blown speakers. 6-CD Changer in dash functions properly. Power sunroof slides back and vents. A very luxurious environment that is impressive, and comfortable. The only negative I've noticed about the interior is the drivers floor mat does have stains. This car has not been professionally detailed so I am unsure if they can be removed, or if a new floor mat will be required.

The exterior of the car is in fair condition. Minor rock chips, and scratches are present, but are at a minimum for a car of this year. No major damage to any panel. There is a scratch on the drivers side rear bumper that is noticeable (see photo) Also, there is some paint damage where the drivers front quarter panel and bumper meet (see photo)  The current owner is not the original owner, and the vehicle was repainted prior to his purchase. Car has been repainted factory color. Paint job is not showroom quality. From a few feet away, the car is beautiful. Upon close inspection, there is a difference in feel between the door jambs and the exterior panels. I've attempted to capture this through photos, but is very difficult to depict. Driving down the road, or in a parking lot it is not noticeable.

In summary, this is a great daily driver that needs a new owner. Safe, reliable, inexpensive to maintain, and a luxurious look and feel you will be hard pressed to find at this price point

If you purchase using "Buy It Now" option, free shipping will be included to the lower 48 states. Otherwise, shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. Or, you may pick the vehicle up in person. I will be available to coordinate with your shipper.

Deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction end, and is non-refundable. Once payment in full is received, vehicle will be released for shipping or local pick-up. Title and bill of sale will be shipped via UPS with tracking number if vehicle is shipped, or executed in person if you prefer local pickup.

PayPal, Cash, and Bank Certified cashiers check are accepted methods of payment. Please keep in mind that with Paypal or Certified check options, there will be a waiting period until payment clears before vehicle is released.

Again, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. I look forward to assisting you.

Finally, Lexus has a sick-looking crossover concept

Thu, Sep 8 2016

So, Lexus isn't playing it safe. The Japanese luxury brand revealed a concept called the UX that will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show, and to say it's eye-catching is an understatement. It looks like one of those new-fangled, coupe-styled SUVs, along the lines of the BMW X6, though Lexus isn't explaining exactly what the UX is. It nebulously says the concept is meant to appeal to a "progressive, urban audience living in a connected environment." Sounds like an X6-, or perhaps an X4-fighter, to us. Oh, and probably with Wi-Fi. As you can see, the UX has massively flared fenders (which add an off-road vibe), a raked roofline and huge wheels. Pretty concepty, in other words. Like the NX SUV, which debuted as a concept then went into production largely unchanged, the UX has a lot of angles and curves. Like the NX, it will probably be divisive at first but a strong entry in the crossover segment if it makes it to production (we think it will). Lexus only released this rear three-quarters shot, so we'll have to wait to see what the front looks like. We'd expect Lexus' spindle grille and some snazzy LED lights. Inside, the UX "showcases imaginative technologies for an immersive driver experience, while the interior marries traditional craftsmanship with high-tech manufacturing techniques," Lexus says. Translation: It will be really digital inside with some wood, carbon-fiber, or fancy plastic trim. It debuts Sept. 29 in Paris. Here's why our Lexus NX is uglier than the rest of the world's

Fri, 01 Aug 2014

Take a good look at the image above. That's the US-market Lexus NX 300h, and it looks, well... distinctive. Although the entire NX crossover sports styling that could certainly be described as controversial, it's the front end of the 'ute that seems to draw most of the ire, befitted as it is with Lexus' so-called spindle grill.
Now, take a look at the pair of images just below. The one on the left is from the States (the same model seen above), while the one on the right comes from Europe. Notice a difference? The lower front fascia of the European Lexus NX dips down much lower than the one from the US, and it looks much more refined because of it.
Why the disparity between the two designs? According to Top Gear Philippines, the reason why the US gets the more pointy proboscis is because of its classification as a light truck. It seems trucks are required to have some sort of concession to the car's approach angle - in other words, a truck should be able to clear an obstacle that a car might hit. Why does Lexus care if the NX is a car or truck? Well, that has to do with how fuel economy is reported, as trucks are given less-stringent requirements for Corporate Average Fuel Economy purposes.

Forget LCD displays, the Lexus UX concept has hologram orbs

Thu, Sep 22 2016

Two weeks ago, Lexus revealed the UX concept for the Paris Motor Show. The company only showed one photo of the exterior, but did give a generic description of the interior, saying it would have "imaginative technologies for an immersive driver experience." Now we know what that means: holograms! Yes, Lexus has done about the only thing that can impress in this world of high-resolution automotive displays – it brought instruments and infotainment into the third dimension. In the process it has somewhat reimagined the way occupants interact with the car as well. We're guessing the name UX, which stands for user experience in the tech world, was intentional. The large crystal-shaped box in the center console stands out immediately. The company says the box will display climate control and infotainment options in full 3D for the driver and passenger. The instrument cluster gets the hologram treatment as well with an orb floating in the middle and the ability to display both analog and digital information. No word on whether a small, blue Princess Leia will appear in the console asking for help. The UX's interior has a few other nifty surprises. The windows are electrochromic, so they can be darkened as needed (similar tech is already in use on some car roofs). The passenger side of the dashboard has a large, finned sound bar that can be removed. We're not entirely sure the thinking behind that feature, but we suppose it would be nice as a stereo for a picnic or a day at the beach. To cap things off, Lexus included the concept car staples of touch-sensitive buttons and side-view mirror cameras. As for when you'll see hologram displays in future Lexus models, we have no idea but wouldn't count on them coming anytime soon. We have a more optimistic view of the Lexus UX concept itself. With crossovers as popular as ever, we expect to see an attractive production model with these bulging fenders and a steeply raked windshield in a year or so.
