Lexus LX 470 1999 The title issue that is on the vehicle report is nothing to be concerned about . This was this bank repo that was hidden in a storage unit. It comes with a clear title with no issues. When I bought it they did not have a key and could not read the mileage( for the title )without it running (digital readout) But that was corrected in 2011 when the title was put in my name. A/C, roof rack, tilt and slide moon roof, running boards, power seats, floor mats, first aid kit, tool kit, rear ac/heat controls, power windows, heated front seats, AM FM 6-CD changer, cruise control, full spare tire, fog lights, power/heated side mirrors. 3rd row seating (seats 8). I have taken a picture of the Lexus in the low and High position. The hydraulic suspension raises and lowers as it should in all 3 positions. If you have ever driven the LX470 you know how well they handle and drive like a car. Unlike other SUVs it turns on a tight radius. Radar built-in front and back 208380 miles (at time of listing) Adult driven, Easy driving, 100% of the time Non-smoker, No pets This is a 15 year old vehicle, but it’s in amazing shape. It obviously isn’t a new car, and it has some scuffs, dings, scratches and wear inside and out and is in above average condition. But, it certainly doesn’t look or ride like a 15 year old, 200K mile vehicle. Rides smooth and straight. This is a 6000 lb vehicle. It’s been the best vehicle I’ve ever owed. It has to go, as I have a truck and a car and do not need 3 vehicles . The LX is the KING of the SUVs. I get about 16 MPG, premium gas. Oil changed every 4000 miles, religiously and I have always used full synthetic. Everything works as it should, but here are a few things it needs: 1) The fabric on some of the door speakers needs glued down. I may have time to do that before the car is picked up. 1) 2) There is a very slight irregularity when the brakes are applied at certain speeds. They have new pads and full pedal. It is not anything major . 7) 3) driver’s seat: one panel of the seat nearest the door is worn. I believe you could remove the seat and have a new panel sewn in if you wanted but I have always had a seat cover on it.. That’s all I know that needs attention—total disclosure. The BIN PRICE reflects all the above already. A BIN of $7999 for this vehicle is a TRUE STEAL. Kelly Blue Book says $9850- $12600 for this car and I’ve seen comparable years/miles selling for $9K-$13K on Ebay. Feel free to call me at 740-258-3771 to set up a appointment to test drive . IMPORTANT TERMS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
The time to examine the vehicle is BEFORE you bid. Your winning bid is a contract to buy the vehicle. If you win the auction, you are committed to buy the vehicle, and I will enforce the contract. Please don’t waste your time and mine. I will accompany you on the test ride. You are welcome to bring your mechanic, but all inspections must be performed here. I will not take the vehicle anywhere for an inspection and will not leave the vehicle with anyone, unless supervised by me. If you are out of the area and want to ship the vehicle, you must still pay for it in full within 3 days via bank check. It usually takes 7-10 business days to clear the bank. You must arrange for shipping and I will load and accommodate . THIS IS IMPORTANT, SO PLEASE READ: Vehicle is sold ‘as is’. No warranty is implied or stated. I am not a mechanic and as fantastically and fanatically as I have had it maintained, it is a 15 year old vehicle and I cannot predict what will happen tomorrow. Maintaining an older Lexus can be very expensive, so please know what you are getting into before you bid. But, for $7999 you are getting an SUV that costs $90000+ to replace today!
I apologize to the upstanding folks that may read the above terms as being a bit harsh. I intend no disrespect. I just feel it’s important to weed-out the people who may be wasting their time and mine, and instead make room for serious, reliable bidders. When the winning bidder meets me, you’ll see that I’m a regular, normal, honest and friendly person. Here’s the list of what it has:

Lexus GX, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado facelifts leaked
Thu, 22 Aug 2013The Lexus GX and the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, which isn't sold in the US, have gone without visual updates since the current generation was launched in 2009. But what appear to be patent filing sketches and pictures of the sibling sports utility vehicles' mid-cycle updates have been leaked on a Russian Land Cruiser Club forum.
Major changes to the GX's front end will be made to incorporate Lexus' signature grille. Gone are the awkwardly shaped headlamps and the soft-looking triple-slat grille. The sketch shows the Lexus with a new bumper, lower-profile headlights and a more aggressive, angular grille with one more slat and a gaping lower air-intake opening. The vehicle's profile looks unchanged, but the rear bumper will be reshaped slightly to fit new, better-integrated horizontal reflectors.
The Toyota gets a handful of styling updates as well, including a new front bumper with higher-profile headlamps that look a bit out of place to us. The Prado's profile also looks unchanged, but the rear end gets restyled taillights and a reshaped license-plate enclosure.
Lexus and Scott Pruett go racing with RC F GT3
Tue, Nov 3 2015Lexus will show what its RC F GT3 can do next year in the US when the racer will be hit the track with a newly formed team called F Performance Racing. Unfortunately, no one will say what series the coupe will compete in, but veteran racer Scott Pruett will be behind the wheel. As Lexus already teased, the RC F GT3 will feature a body with big flares and a huge wing. Under the heat extractors in the hood, there will be a production-derived 5.0-liter V8 with over 500 horsepower that will route through a six-speed sequential gearbox. Based on its current livery in eye-popping metallic blue, the coupe will also be one of the easiest cars to spot on the track. The sharply styled RC F might take too many checkered flags in its first season, though, because the team will keep the coupe to a limited schedule next year. Rather than scoring wins, the focus will be on developing the platform and gaining experience. However by the 2017 or 2018 season, there will be a multi-car effort with a full racing calendar. When taking on veteran teams fielding Porsches or Ferraris in the same class, a seasoned driver like Pruett will be an asset around a racecourse. He also already has close ties to the Japanese luxury brand after competing in Lexus-power prototypes in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Championship Series and helping to develop the LFA. "I could not be more ecstatic to be representing Lexus as a performance brand ambassador and on the track in the F Performance RC F GT3," he said in the announcement. We look forward to seeing what he can do with it next year. This new racing venture is part of the Lexus' global motorsports effort that will see the Japanese luxury brand competing on tracks in the United States beginning in 2016. The new race vehicle is based upon the production Lexus RC F high performance coupe that went on sale at the end of 2014.
Why the Lexus GS death rumors aren't surprising
Wed, May 3 2017For months, rumors have persisted that the Lexus GS is dying, to be replaced in the lineup by the ever-growing ES. After spending some time with one, we can't really figure out why it hasn't happened sooner. For a long time, the smaller, less expensive, more efficient front-wheel-drive Lexus ES has been growing in size and dominating the rear-wheel-drive GS in sales. As customers move from sedans into crossovers, Lexus' five-car lineup of the CT, IS, ES, GS, and LS is looking a bit too crowded. We shouldn't lament the loss of another rear-wheel-drive sedan. Lexus customers sure as hell haven't. There are better options available. Outside of the GS F, the Lexus GS isn't a car that encourages you to drive in a way that would take advantage of a rear-wheel setup. In the rain and the snow, the front-wheel drive ES is likely to be a more stable and sure-footed car. If you want power, the less expensive ES 350 actually has a more powerful engine than the base GS 200t. It's nearly a second quicker to 60 mph as well. Stepping up to a GS 350 puts a nearly $12,000 divide between the ES and the GS. Yes, you can get the GS with all-wheel drive, but how many people well and truly need it? Size-wise, the ES is nearly identical to the GS, with the ES being longer but narrower by just over an inch in either direction. Being front-wheel drive, the ES has better rear packaging, meaning a roomier rear seat. The GS does beat the ES on cargo capacity, but on nearly every other measurement the ES is roughly identical or better. Another editor noticed the exact same thing when the current ES debuted nearly four years ago. That goes for pre- and post-refresh models. The ES isn't quite as handsome as the GS (as long as you ignore the spindle situation up front). From some angles, the ES looks like nothing more than the tarted up Toyota Avalon it is. From behind the wheel, the GS fails to convey any sense of excitement or occasion. It's simply a shoulder shrug of a car. When competition like the BMW 5 Series or Mercedes-Benz E-Class offer both refinement and a decent infusion of fun, it's hard to make a case for the Lexus. The ES isn't any better, but with a base price of $39,895 it's a far more reasonable proposition than a $47,305 GS. Our test car was starting to show its age, as the competition has long sailed by when it comes to noise, vibration, and harshness. Lexus quiet this GS 200t was not. All that said, it seems that customers have already spoken.
